xDDD Call me a curious person, I guess.

With the amount of fellow writers I talk to, it's surprising to see so many... girls o_O;

I mean, writing stories about female idols (on each other no less xDDD ) seems like something more akin to the male population, but nope, it's the opposite here xDDDD

Just use this thread to clarify your gender, that's all '_'

I'm sure fans are wondering if they should address their author as a male or female, or something, I dunno, roffle. Commenters ~~must~~can vote too~!

All I know is that because of all the girls around here, I've assumed that everyone who starts writing here is a girl xDDDDDDD

As for the extra options at the beginning, that's just for shits and giggles. +1 for sense of humor! o_O

Hmm, I'm usually mistaken for a guy online, but not in person. It happened once. It was winter, I was 8, and I was bundled up so much that you couldn't even tell I was human.

made me crack up. But I'm a girl though in person I have been mistaken for a guy not many times though. I used to be mistaken for a boy when I spoke on the phone though. I have noticed that a lot of fic writers are girls. I would have thought it would be all boys as well.

I assumed that most writers are girls unless they say something that would indicate them to be a guy. I'll admit that I've gotten adventwriter and writerjunkie switched.

Well despite trying to have an ambiguous username there's no escaping my reputation and other identity from other forums. I'm a girl, °elasticgirl/°e-girl/°e to be exact.

There was a hilarious episode in one of her story threads where JFC got her gender wrong.

And on the topic of being mistaken for a guy, that happens to me all the time in real life. I walk into a store, and the people there are like "Welcome sir, what would you like?". Cue an eloquent "..."

On the topic of being mistaken for a guy, I think the last time it happened was in 9th grade... so 3 years ago now. I never gave much for my messy hair, and I often wore hawaiian tshirts... (It was a phase of mine, lol.) Nowadays it doesn't happen, but my attitude/way of talking is like that of a guy's, and I don't dress very girly either. (I think the last time I wore a skirt was in 7th grade...) The other times were when I was little and always had a short haircut.

Random boy: Why're you playin' with a girl!?
Friend: What're you talking about, he's a boy!
Me: Uh... .__.;;

I'm also in that group that assumes most writers are girls... xD Unless I can clearly see that the person's a guy, that is...

I see I get dragged into another thread lol. It's pretty obvious I'm male cause of my username, but still I apparently sometimes get mistaken.

Maybe it's cause of the way I write...

And oh yes, the mysterious OTN...

If I hadn't let it slip, everyone would probably still think she's a guy.

Would think more people had it figured out by now...
