CHAPTER 7 (PART 1)
Watanabe Apartment“This day is too tiring Rena-san!” as I stretched my arms while going up the stairs.
“What happened?” she asked me worriedly.
:”father sent me an officer to look afte~”
*DING *DONG I was interrupted by an unexpected visitor.
“I wonder who that might be” Rena confusingly opened the door.
Then suddenly a very much familiar figure entered my comfy home.
“HAI. Lt. Colonel Matsui Jurina, Reporting for duty Ma’am” as he saluted Rena-san.
“EH?!” what’s this Jurina?” as I hurriedly went down a few steps and stared at Rena who’s wearing a flat affect.
“SERIOUSLY?!” as I watch them do proper Army greetings.
“Rena-san, you? Yo~u?” as I point her judgmentally.
“I told you Mayu-chan, I work here right?” as she playfully smiled at me.
“but you didn’t tell meeeeeeeeeeee!!”
“Mayu-chan, she’s an upper, Major General Matsui Rena” Jurina explains.
“so you two? Are you two somewhat related by blood?!” I asked them still in shock of what I learned.
“NO.” both of them answered in unison.
“Hey you! Jurina!” as I turned my attention to my partner in crime.
“nani~?”
“Does that mean, you too are going to stay here? Eeerrrm” kicking softly her massive luggage.
“Un” she happily clinged on me.
:”eeeh?! And what does this luggage contain? Atomic bomb? Did you bring all of the grenades of your brigade?!?!” I felt like my eyes are both twitching now.
“UN”.
“WHAT THE HELL???” I thought.

Early morning..“Nee~ Jurina, I didn’t see Rena-san, where she might be this early?” I asked Jurina who is now eating her burnt bread.
“uhm SHIWENTOSHOOLOLI” she said.
“What?!? Finish your food first please” sigh.
*NOMNOM *GULP“I said she went to school already” she restated.
“What? What is she doing there without us, we’re the students here” I confusedly looked at the eating monster.

At the school just minutes before start of classes (Locker Alley) …I saw Yuki already on her locker, as always, cleaning. “Ohayou Yukirin!” I greeted her cheerfully but, something is off.
“oha.” She awkwardly greeted me and didn’t bother to meet my eyes. I remembered the last time we’re together. I tried to think about it.
“That’s so mean of me eh~” I thought.
Classes have pushed through, but the awkward aura between us didn’t wear off until lunch break. I wanted to make it up to her but heaven’s sake it happened that I got an emergency meeting with the Student Council today so I decided to do it afterwards.
STUDENT COUNCIL HEADQUARTERSI managed to get to the council room just in time but it seems only me and Jurina are here yet. So we decided to wait for them for a bit.
“Nee~ mayu-chan? Something a matter?” Jurina asked me worriedly.
“Nothing” I answered looking down.
“You know you can’t fool me” She then sat on my table seeing me with her peripherals.
“That girl” she stated.
“You like her, don’t you?” she added.
I looked at her with flat affect. “Jurina~ I never lied right?” I asked her.
“Yeah, never did…. Just YET” as she switched her position to facing me directly.
“It’s not like we can be together” I thought.
Suddenly members and Takahashi-sensei barged in.
“Gomen, senior classes had to extend for a bit, well then let’s start the “Emergency Student Council Assembly”” as sensei announced.
“I don’t know what’s happening on Earth but it happened that due to some CIRCUMSTANCES again we have another new comrade here” sensei explained.
Jurina and I made an eye contact probably she’s getting what I’m thinking like B1 and B2.
“CIRCUMSTANCES….” I thought. “DON’T TELL ME??!” as I made my eyes wide-opened and awfully stared at the door for whoever enters from it.
I just mind-fainted at the next events……..+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
YUKI POV
Lunch break..“Sigh. I’m such a loner” As I was walking along the hall beside the open windows. I noticed two familiar figures having their lunch together.
“Acchan….Takamina…”
It’s quite a secret among the students that we are close friends outside the campus. It’s not like Takahashi-sensei is too old for us, in fact she’s just few years older than me and Acchan. She’s just too great she finished her studies earlier than it should be and later on decided to be a teacher here.
“she’s still such a kiddo, didn’t wanna get separated from us, well more of Acchan teehee <3”A sudden thought hit me.
“Sou~ you see Yuki-chan, I’m not sure enough if I know who that person is, but I think Yui-chan and Paruru could help somehow”
“I wonder what help they could do for me” I thought. I decided to look for them at their quarters
*KNOCK *KNOCKBut Heaven’s sake the one I didn’t wanna see for now is the only present in the room.
“Nani~ Yukirin?” Mayu asked me as she slowly walks towards me. *doki *doki*
“ oh, Mayu-chan it’s you, ano~ I’m looking for Yui-chan and Paruru but it seems they’re not here… so never mind” as I was on the act of leaving. “GAAAH, not now please” again. I felt she grabbed my arm.
“Yukirin~” she calls me. As I turned around I saw her staring at me and then eventually smiled at me.
“Let’s go to Disneyland” she announced.

Mayu POVIt was a sunny day Sunday. I asked Yukirin to come with me to Disneyland. Well, I just ended up with the idea…
~flashback~
*KNOCK *KNOCK
I wonder who that might be. Suddenly I saw Yuki entered the room. She looked down and somewhat pressured I guess.
“Nani~ Yukirin?” I asked her accommodatingly while walking towards her.
“ oh, Mayu-chan it’s you, ano~ I’m looking for Yui-chan and Paruru but it seems they’re not here… so never mind” she said and then attempted to leave the room.
“this is a perfect timing, I need to make it up to her…but how?”“HOW?!” I’m panicking.
I suddenly grabbed her hand. “Yukirin~” I called her and smiled at her.
“Let’s go to Disneyland” I said.
"WHAT A CRAPPY LINE MAYUYU BAKA!!!”~end of flashback~“ come to think of it, could it be my first date with Yukirin” I thought smirking to myself. I prepared for my appointment; I wore my ever favourite hoodie and secured my phone on my pocket and all essential stuff on my backpack.
“there. Ready to go” Suddenly two unwanted figures appear before me. Jurina wearing her army cap, huge sunglasses and folded long-sleeves polo shirt, and Rena almost the same except for she’s using a scarf like an okaa-san….
“EEEH?!! What are you two doing?” I asked them sarcastically.
“DOING OUR DUTIES!” said the two in unison while nodding.
“DO YOU EXACTLY MEAN THAAAT??! YOU TWO DON’T LOOK LIKE IT!!!” and placed a mirror on front of the two.
“ YOU” points at Jurina.
“and YOU!” points to Rena.
“LOOK LIKE TERRORISTS!!!” As I beat the two up.
Sigh.
Suddenly my phone went…
RING!! RING!! RING!! The two weirdos in front of got alarmed. Though I saw a familiar number.
“You two! I’m not getting death threats okay! And we’re not at war! Could you please…. Just please” as I left out a sigh and answered my phone.
“moshi~ mosh, Daddy it’s me Mayuyu”
“Mayu-chan honey, I missed you! How are things there? And… where’s my Pikachu? <3”
“tch. Daddy!”
“haha okay okay. So How are things?” I can sense he’s laughing on his own again.
“I certainly know you know the answer Dad” as I took a glance on the two weirdos guarding the area.
“teehee don’t worry, It’s Jurina-chan and Rena-chan, they’re the bests of the bests! I entrust you to them”
“buuut…never mind Dad”
“I have a surprise for you honey~” he cheerfully announced.
“surprise? Oh no! no! no! I’ve had too much already”
“nope. This one will certainly make you the happiest” I can sense he’s grinning on his own.
“well let’s just see Daddy”
“Yup, okay then I need to make my speech now, talk to you later honey! Bye~ love you” and he hang up.
“pika pika pika~” *mimicking Pikachu “PIKACHU is cute though Daddy teehee <3”
