This 2ch rumor I've just seen seems like it's pretty legit, though I need a little more confirmation before I'll be a full believer.

It says the August issue of B.L.T. says that もえxこん ("Moe x Kon") will be airing as a 10-15 minute show every day Mon-Sun at varying times from 2-3.
"Every day KonKon"

I'm assuming the ending time for 7/20 is a typo and should be 3:05 instead of 3:50.
The "Moe" of the title is supposedly fellow new announcer Ueda Moeko (植田 萌子):


You may remember her from other shows with the TV Tokyo new announcers as the cute girl who sat next to Konkon in the front row.

I think I need to see at least one other piece of evidence before I'm convinced though.
One scanned page from a TV guide with only a title and a starting time isn't quite enough for me.
If I saw the B.L.T. pages or an official site, that'd do it.

I just downloaded today's Oha Star, and right after Saki's goodbye VTR, it DOES say a new oha girl is joining tomorrow!

That screenshot I posted above is legit, but I didn't notice before that there's still a sticker on it that's covering some info.
Here's a screenshot I just made that shows what it is.


What it says is "Member of that famous group!!"
The hair length and shape of her sillouette match too!
It's even in her member color!

That seals it! Eripon is the newest member of Oha Girl Maple!

The three newspaper articles above say that Maeda Yuuka will retire from S/mileage on 12/31 to devote herself to college entrance exams.
There has been no official notification of it.

There has been nothing from the official twitter accounts about it, and at the moment Ameblo is down for maintenance.
Opinion on 2ch is split over whether or not this is a lie.

My suggestion is to wait until we get any official word of this.
Until then, take this as a rumor.
If there is any confirmation, this will probably get its own thread.

Considering she's done with the idol world now and thus there's no reason for their agencies to lie, I'm taking their word that the two of them are just friends (plus I kinda have to think that way to maintain my sanity ).
