Memphis Beat is an American comedy-drama series that debuted on TNT on June 22, 2010.

The show follows Dwight Hendricks (Jason Lee), a crackerjack police detective who loves his mother, the blues, and his city, who calls himself "the keeper of Memphis." His fierce dedication to his home town is offset by his easygoing approach to his job, an attitude that irks by-the-book Lt Tanya Rice (Alfre Woodard), his new boss.

This is a real good, I liked it from the start, and I would recommend it to anyone who might be interested.
Jason Lee's a helluva actor, IMHO.



Now, that's not really Jason Lee singing in that vid, but he does a good job with the lip sync.
The vocals are from singer Mark Arnell of the band I-94.
