C22. A memorable live performance and why.

C-ute, who had always been 'second' of the Hello!Project Kids to Berryz Kobou
were able to achieve a huge success with their single 都会っ子 純情 / Tokaikko Junjou,
released in October 17, 2007. The song won C-ute a nomination for Best New
Artists at the Japan Record Awards, and they performed the song at the
award show on December 30, 2007. By the time the winner was announced,
it was too late in the evening under labor law for them to be working, so they
had to wait in their dressing room, with Tsunku san standing in their place
if they won. Which they did, so he accepted the award for the girls.
In this clip C-ute's performance fo the song starts at 6:30, and then don't miss
the backstage interview of the girls starting at 13:12.

C41. The H!P member you didn't like much at first, but like a lot now.
Dare I say it? Pretty much everyone currently in Hello Project! XD
I've said it before: my interest in H!P started primarily focusing on old members and material that were long gone by the time I discovered them. But as time went on I eventually warmed up to the newer rosters, appreciating those who served under Aichan's leadership and learning to admire the H!P Kids as they grew up. Even the current new members in Momusu and S/mileage required some time for me to adapt to them while they adapted to the H!P world. Of course, it's important to point out that there has never been an H!P member I've actively disliked--the ones I like the least still have redeeming qualities in my eyes.

C42. A favourite H!P slow tempo song/ballad.
"Hare Ame Nochi Suki"

There are several songs I have in mind, but this group's combining of several of Momusu's greatest voices just can't be beat.

C50. The reason why you are a Hello! Project fan.

The main reason because the girls are so addictive and to learn about them is the best hobby in general

Thnx Shirenu for this :jphip: :jphip:

C27. Your favourite Morning Musume generation and why.

Hmmm it's a little hard because I love both the 1st and 4th gens so much <3  4th gen was so special, but I guess I'll go with 1st gen, because they did start it all with their super hard teamwork, going against all odds, and they clearly have a bond like no other in Momusu.

Sometimes their bond was a little too close but omg so cute XDDD

C23. Your favourite Berryz Kobo member and why.

Will repost this answer:

C2. Favourite current H!P member and why.

Chinami Tokunaga- She has been an inspiration lately- heading off to Thailand to promote the Berryz' new songs, she seemed so bright and cheerful on the trip to New Jersey, she is a source of good energy.

C28. The H!P member you would take to a Haunted House.

I choose Tsuji Nozomi! I imagine she'd make the situation less stressful because she's so funny and cute, but also she looks strong so it'd be less scary if you have her as a Haunted House partner XD

C43. Your favourite classic H!P subgroup (Tanpopo, Pucchimoni, Minimoni).
Minimoni
Each subgroup has things going on for them, but it was awareness of Minimoni that planted the seeds for my initial H!P interest. From a random Jay Leno appearance, to the Dramatic Chipmunk, to the group's antics on Ayaka's English lessons and other TV shows...if it weren't for them I wouldn't be in this fandom. Plus you just can't beat that roster of Mari, Nono, Aibon, and Mika (and later Aichan).

C44. A fond Hello! Morning memory.
CHEESE. BOX. COOL.

If there's only one Haromoni episode you can watch or show others, this is the one. Makoto's umbrella, Aichan's eyebrows, Reina's elevator, Eri's refrigerator, Miki's taxi...still hilarious to this day.

C24. The best Buono! song.

Well, this is the best mash-up that uses a Buono! PV   :P

Buono!'s on a Boat! (explicit lyrics, NSFW) {With thanks to 123japanfan}

C29. Your favourite S/mileage member and why.

I don't even know the S/mileage members, so I'll superficially pick Akari Takeuchi because she looks the cutest XD

C30. Post a picture of pretty eyes.

I like Ayaya's eyes.

C7. A member who left before she really got to shine and whose departure made you sad.

Sakichy. This is the first H!P graduation that really got to me. She was just the best singer in the group that at the time was seemingly at the verge of breaking out. It was just so sudden and unexpected that it bugged me for a long time.

C18. Your favourite S/mileage song
.
Uchouten Love

Sakichy’s last single in the group.
I must have heard this a million times during the 2nd gen auditions. It's still impossible to wear out, impossible to kill...

C29. Your favourite S/mileage member and why.

Fukuda Kanon. It was really hard for me to pick out who was my fave when I just discovered S/M as everyone's an ace in that group. I think her teary-eyed performance in "Japan Record Awards" made me decide that she was my favorite among the four. Plus she looks a bit like Kago's little sister

C38. A H!P member's cute mole/freckle.

...and she's got really cute freckles too. :)

C22. A memorable live performance and why.

Morning Musume Sakura Gumi Concert
Can't find a working S/mileage's "Japan Record Award" , so this one's my pick. This is my fave H!P concert of all time and it marked the point that I really appreciated the music and not just the variety show appearances. So much Ai-chan and Kago-chan too. Totally blew me away.

C49. An old H!P song you really like.

Both Sakura Gumi singles are just brilliant pop songs.

C17. Your favourite H!P soloist, past or present.

Ayaya. I don't think anyone even comes close.
But maybe if Kago became a H!P soloist...

C31. Your favourite Ayaya song.

My first Ayaya song is still my fave. I think she was promoting this during Ayaka's English Lessons

C45. Your favourite Manoeri song.

Lucky Aura

Love this one, I feel like I am still discovering her...

C21. Your favourite Melon Kinenbi song.

I wish I knew them better.

C32. The H!P member (past or present) you would take to a candlelight dinner.

Ai-chan. I will treasure all those awkward silences.

C31. Your favourite Ayaya song.

Hard for me to decide between Dokkidoki! LOVE Mail and Diary, but I'll go with Diary because I love it most when it comes up in my ipod XD

C45. Your favourite Manoeri song.
"Onegai Dakara"

A steady beat and otherworldly vibe with the subtle techno sound, pretty much the first song of hers that caught my attention. Plus some good memories of that random last-minute road trip to see her in LA.

C46. The H!P hairstyle that made you laugh for how bad it was.
Gaki's 2010 helmet

It didn't bother me that she drastically cut her hair short...but the way she styled it just didn't work for me. Ugh.

C25. Your favourite C-ute member and why.

All five of the current members have been my favorite at one time or another, because they all are
nice girls with unique charms.

MY latest big admiration is for Mai Hagiwara- because she is the kid sister who makes you proud.
She has become a beautiful young lady in the process and amidst the madness of the professional entertainment
world, she still can bring out the smiles of her fans.

Nacchi, I guess? I wouldn't make it "candlelight dinner", but I'd love to hang out with her and go eat some fun japanese food! XD

C33. If you had/have small kids, this is the H!P song you would play to them for fun.

Mini Moni's Jankenpyon!!!

This one took me a while to think about.
In the end, I had to go with the first one I ever bought:

C47. The H!P hairstyle change that was such an improvement that it made you instantly like/notice the member more.
Erina Ikuta

I don't know if the haircut itself triggered an increased interest in her, but it did coincide with a brand new Oha Suta gig (which sadly turned out to be the replacement of a departing Saki Ogawa) and further establishment of her KY character and increasing confidence in being a Morning Musume member, so I can't help but make the association.

C48. Your favourite Hello! Morning newscaster/news staff member.
Can you really say you can resist the charms of Charmy? She's a one-woman army!

C41. The H!P member you didn't like much at first, but like a lot now.

Sayumi.
I think some of my earliest exposure to Sayumi's personality was from Futarigoto.
This was maybe not a great way to start, since... well...
Just take a look at this:
http://www.veoh.com/watch/e124796XZa8ACqn

This vapid personality along with her narcissism and ear-breaking singing voice left me little to like about her.
With how unathletic and clumsy she was, it really seemed like she was a one-dimensional girl whose only redeeming quality was her pretty face.

But over the years, she has shown real depth.
Being on TV shows with her poison-tongued character, showing she can be more than just the narcissist character.
Hearing about her lonely childhood and her underlying lack of self esteem really made her seem like a real person.

Then when the 9th gen joined, she was their biggest promoter on her blog.
Seeing just how caring, insecure, and hardworking she really is really changed my perception of her in the last few years.

Now I'm really glad she's the leader.
Instead of a self-centered, empty-headed pretty face with a horrible voice, she's become this dependable, caring, and deeply considerate older sister figure in the group.
And hey, her singing even sounds better now!

C27. Your favourite Morning Musume generation and why.

No doubt on this one.........These four girls, starting from the dramatic selection and annoucement that they were chosen
to be Morning Musume members, their early work, the singing, the dancing, the comedy routines, the monomane,
and as pointed out earlier , the friendship that these four young ladies developed. They really became good friends,
and this made watching the amazing 5th generation growing day by day
into the fine young women that they have become, a real  and satisfying delight!
