Going pre-Love Machine here with that sweet, funky late '90s R&B sound, powered by some incredible vocals and a trippy video. I was just about to pick Momusu's "Furusato" before remembering this lesser-known classic by a non-MM group.

C50. The reason why you are a Hello! Project fan.
I don't really know how to explain the early vibe and charm I felt when I first discovered H!P, but somehow I just couldn't help but stay loyal to the brand after that. So much variety and such a different world than I've been used to with my usual interests. I'm not so much an idol fan, but rather a fan of these particular idols and the brand they've been associated with. While it's not perfect, I'm still finding new ways to enjoy it all.

The first time I remember seeing Morning Musume was on TV when I was watching Hey!x3 Music Champ. They were playing some games on the show and I remember Nacchi quickly catching my attention!

even before I took notice of the H!P kids, she always stood out to me. so much cuteness and charisma and even guts of steel. and I'm really happy for recent success in the variety show circuit.   And she's a really smart girl, too.

My fave Buono song isn't a rocker. I love this song because it really showcases all of their vocal abilities.

Chou Happy Song. This would be really fun to sing in a duet . I would absolutely destroy this.

I think some of the lyrics of "Chou Happy Song" sums it up pretty well.
Because happiness (I’m happy)
More Happiness (to the point of satisfaction)

I feel like smiling even at the silliest things...

Kanon Suzuki - Haruka was so scared that Kanon had to do the haunted house by herself.
It would be nice for Kanon to have someone to go with the next time she
goes to the haunted house. Kanon was a good sport with Haruka, understanding
that Haruka was just not able to handle this assignment.

Mr. Moonlight! I loved it. Especially Nacchi, Maki and Yossi dressed like boys, it was so cute and awesome and HOT *_*

C29. Your favourite S/mileage member and why.

Kanon Fukuda......She has so many nice qualities, and she is
a very humble girl (despite the 'Cinderella' character that she plays
on shows)

oaxiac san mentioned that the tape of the night that S/mileage won
“Best New Artist” award at the 52nd Japan Record Awards (2010) is no longer
on YouTube. In that tape, Kanon really loses it and is crying at the shock
and joy of her team winning the award. Much like Mai Hagiwara of C-ute, when
C-ute won the same award three years earlier, Saki Ogawa keeps her head together
as the older girls cry. Saki helps Kanon make it onstage from
their seats as S/mileage is hurriedly pushed into performing the song.
Watching Kanon on that clip was amazing, and she still gives her all today.
A beautiful young lady indeed!

Hmmm I guess that'll be Sayumi. I reeeeally disliked her, but I feel she has matured and I don't dislike her anymore. I wouldn't say I like her a LOT now, but I like her significantly more than before

Lots of them, but this single, her 2nd, was a great
example of the shock and awe kawaiiocity of Aya,
and the whole idea of Aya facing the unbeatable
Matsuura in the Tennis final was pure H!P insane magic:

I always remember fondly this episode where the 3-nin Matsuri girls got to eat yakisoba coz they won some game or something. Nono didn't get to eat it, so she suddenly started crying. It was sad, but so extremely cute and then it was so moving how the older members consoled her. I think the whole thing is very sweet and moving <3

Berryz. cuz now lol like Mini moni before, they grow up you can appreciate the effort and hard work they have put in and grown as artists over the years. Plus meeting them in person and seeing em live and all 5'10" helps too.

Kei Yasuda, because the other members from the first two generations are all
settling down. Since she is still single, I think she would enjoy a candlelight dinner,
and it would be great conversing with her (Magic Japanese fluency will be ordered before
picking her up)

C46. The H!P hairstyle that made you laugh for how bad it was.

Melon Kinenbi's Masae always had such weird hairstyles. I think this one was particularly bad... I think the color gradient on the right side looks cool, like a My Little Pony tail   But the multi-colored mullet on the left side is baaaad...






C47. The H!P hairstyle change that was such an improvement that it made you instantly like/notice the member more.

Reina's, when she recently went from the usual HUGE half/full/side ponytail hairdo to the very cute and flattering short haircut.

I gotta admit I've not been following the H!P groups recently, since all my favorite members are now gone. But I think I'll always consider myself an H!P fan because it's meant so much to me. H!P songs and members entertained and inspired me for almost a decade, and they always cheered me up when I was down. Being an H!P fan also led me to JPH!P 7 years ago, where I've made so many amazing friendships. So to summarize, H!P will always have a very special place in my heart! <3

C1. Favourite current H!P group and why.

Berryz Kobo



It's my favorite group for 6 years now, that's basically the reason nowadays
When I got into them they had - for me - the best songs within H!P and with those were most close to the music of my previous favorite group.
Also the youthful spirit, when you watched the making ofs, tv shows, dvd mags you always had a fun time... wishing you could jump right into the video and join them or wishing your childhood would have been like that sometimes.

Now I still like most of their music but everything has changed. Guess everyone knows this feeling.
It's more centered towards my favorite member, the next "challenge".

However, when there is a H!P concert or something like that, seeing a Berryz member on stage is always the best.
Best as in, a unique feeling I can't describe very well... maybe like when you are alone/lost in a big city and after some time bump into someone you know.
