Chapter 13: Heartlands
Yuki has departed from home, and was making her way to school, in a moderately slow and steady pace.
With Mayu on her side, having a lovely conversation with her on cute accessories
The pervertic squirrel on the other hand was given strict orders to zip her mouth and hold on to Yuki’s purse, as her punishment for almost causing a burnout.
Yet again, feeling a familiar Déjà vu sensation, Yuko started attacking the floor with her foot, furious as why Mayu hadn’t been given a task yet.
Hearing the vibration caused by Yuko, Yuki tries to ignore it and continue her conversation, but was rapidly interrupted when another disturbance arises.
Coming from the direction of the gates of school, the sound brought her eyes set on the entrance, there it was, a large crowd, shouting and screaming, sounds that can be heard, but not identified
As they were closing in, Mariko and Oku were spotted on sight directly at the front of the crowd, gentle smile crossing their faces.
Another thing in view, were students hoping in joy, holding signs welcoming back, a particular student
“YUKO….. YUKO……YUKO” The crowd, started banging their legs, when the chosen one was spotted.
Dayum…. I knew that Yuko is the Class Clown Duo, but didn’t expect her to be that famousUplifted by the screaming, Yuko rushes into the crowd, hand in air, pumping it up like some super star.
Students from around her started helping her carry her packages, but as a brunette reaches for the purse, Yuko tighten it on her grip, before starring towards Yuki’s direction, messaging her for an “Ok” entry.
Yuki just gazed at her, and lip synchronizes “Just don’t burn my house again”, accepting that as a go pass, she passes it over and went to Mariko giving her a warm hug.
“Long time no see, Yuko” Mariko said, returning the hug “You too idiot”
As the crowd became larger and more crowded, the gang were forced to escape the scene, but not before Yuki tries snatching her bag back from a certain brunette, as she was busy sniffing things that were in the purse, thinking it was Yuko’s.
After their tardy escape, the gang manages to reach class, undetected.
Upon entering class, Mayu just stopped on her tracks and waited outside, feeling a little curious Yuki wanted to question her, but Mayu just signals her to enter first.
(Class)After a brief minute or so, Miss Sayaka enters class, and greeted the class, quickly announcing,
“Class, I forgot to tell you yesterday, but we would be having a new addition to our class….. Please welcome our new student”
Mayu enters class, and the class went wild
“God she is soooo cute” “I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on those” “Dayum Dayum…DAYUM!” The class shouted their comments, towards Yuki's beloved
Feeling slightly irritate by the girls, Yuki just puffed her cheeks and sat still.
“My name is Watashima Mayu, Nice you meet you, Please take care of me” Mayu bowed, winking over to Yuki's
“Mayu, since you are sister with Yuko, you wouldn’t mind sitting beside her right? As there are only 2 seats available” Miss Sayaka asked, wondering whether Mayu wanted to be, beside her idiotic sister, even at school
“Ermm…. Could I instead, occupy the seat beside Yuki?” Yuki closed her palm together in joy.
Yipee….“Ohh…. Are you friends with Yuki?”
“You can kinda say that” Scrubbing her head, as her face was slightly flustered
“In that case, Ok! Now Mayu it you don’t mind being sited quickly, as you have lots of catching up to do”
Soon after sitting down, Class continues as usual, and it finally reaches their break.
The gang gathered in groups, chatting on whatever comes across their minds,
As Yuki remembers yesterday’s incident, she apologizes to Mari and Oku personally, hoping that they never held a grudge for her tardiness
“Don’t worry Yuki, Oku and I just wanna vent our anger on some issue” Mariko assured
“Ohh yeah….. what was it about” Yuki asked,but was disturbed by a budging Jurina
“Mari-chan is it about Tuesday’s awful incident?”
“Yeah”
“Okay, Since I already heard it, I will just go and talk to my honey and Atsumina and Maachan…. Have fun Yuki” Encouraging Yuki, as she left to the second badge, discussing about a certain television program, “World Dumbest People (Japanese Version)”
Taking her viewpoint back to Mariko, Mariko continued her anger venting story to Mayu, Yuki, and pervert
“Ok…. It is kinda a long story… but I will shorten it for your sake, You still remember Tuesday game?”
“No” Yuko replied looking around, to see whether anyone was laughing, but when her eyes caught Mariko's, she recevied a painful Falcon Punch on the side of her nose
Holding her broken nose, Yuko finally understood what the word quiet meant, and sat down like a disciplined little kid.
“As I was saying, after the game was finished… I was the only one waiting for Maachan as she passes out”
Yuki nods
“After roughly awhile, she was conscious again, and we got on with our journey back home”
“So…During the walk, we were approached by law enforcement, weirdly arresting us as we were prime suspects for being the Kasana Pervert” Mariko then takes a deep breath “And we were brought to the police station, interrogated and scolded, as their attempts of proving our guiltiness were an epic failure”
“All they could do was, kept us in our cell till the 24 hours duration is up, After a while, a retarded police officer suddenly budge into our cell with a quirky and idiotic smile.”
“She then apologizes and explained to us that our held up was a misunderstanding, and that we were accused, because the real culprit used our names as a cover, when police started tapering phone to track them down”
*Gulps*“After being released from the station, I negotiated with Miss Sayaka on allowing us a free day to relax, and she agreed….HAHAHA”
“Ohhhh…. That was it?” Yuki budged in during Mariko's laughter, thinking that, there was something much more serious, then being accused of being a 2million wanted list criminal, which earn herself a broken skull.
“Sumimasen” Tears forming in Yuki’s eyes.
“Nevermind” Tending to Yuki’s poor head “If I ever, catch those idiots, they would pay with their lives” Mariko did some murderous act with her hands.
“You would kill them? Just because they used your name for coverups?” Yuki asked, signalling Yuko and Mayu to not look so suspicious
“If it was just the name using…. I wouldn’t be soo mad” Mariko said, looking at Maachan at the distance “ Because I almost gained the confidence, to declare my love to Maachan, that day, but was disturbed when the officer approaches”
Mariko then continues to complaint and crucially describe how she would torture the perverts for days after capturing them
Mayu and Yuko just sat there, raining buckets of sweat, but they got lucky when the bell strucks 3 indicated the hour break was over, before reaching the gory parts/
(School-Home)As the class proceeded as per normal, the day was up and It was time to bid farewell to friends, as tomorrow is going to be a weekend
Yuki then took off with her acquaintance, talking to them on the subject of
blackmailing something.
As they reaches Yuki’s home, Yuki requested that the duo get back to their apartments and packed up for moving in.
Dismissing the duo, Yuki took her keys out, opening the postal box at the entrance of her home, inside there lay, 5 letters, one of which were addressed to herself
Taking the appointed letter, She entered home and placed in on the dining table, as she prepares meal for 3.
(Mayu,Yuko’s Home)As they jabbed their keys into the hole, and enters their untidy apartment, they started packing their belonging, and striking up a conversation.
“Mayu-chan…. Do you mind if I asked you something….. quite sensitive” Yuko hesitantly asked, but her guts brought her to the conversation
“Fire it up… Sis”
“Do you like...... Yuki-chan?” Yuko asked seriously, the only few times she didn’t joke, is when she was certainly sure of the answer
“NNNnn…ooOOO….Whh….yy…. WOOUlld… Yo..uuu… Sa..Ay..Sooo” Her breathing sounded, as if somebody whom was attacked by asthma.
“Okk….I Belived you… hehehe” Clearly upset by the lie that was spoken, Yuko continued packing her bag and headed for their destination
(Yuki’s house)Yuki was concentrating on her lovely cooking, but stop, as rings were heard from the bells.
As her normal procedure, she took out her bat, and opens the door, revealing two idiots, carrying luggage that were 3 times their size.
“Come in” Yuki blasted a weird smirk, as she hides the bat at her back
“O-jama shimasu” The duo took off their shoes, with their feets, entering the home
“What is for dinner, Mamarin?” As a nice food fragrant , was pass around the home.
“Ohh… I am making chicken rice for me and Mayu, as for you, perfect chicken rice” Yuko sighed, as she knew that, any food with perfect engraved into it, wasn’t good.
“I was just joking…. Yuko” Patting her back, trying to cheer up the pervert, since she hadn’t been treating Yuko pleasantly. “You two can leave your luggages at the guestroom, take a shower before coming down for dinner”
The perverts just nod, making their way up in difficulty
I know they are supposed to be my servant for a year…… but it is nice to just see their smiles, although it looked sometimes perverted, She thought as she proceeds with cookingSoon after, getting accustomed and showered, the squirrel and the pig went straight for the tables, banging their cutlery like kids, demanding for quick service.
“Mamarin…. Dinner please” Yuko waved
“Ok…and don’t call me Mamarin” Yuki jokily replied, feeling happy when she was called “Mamarin”.
She took the pot of rice from the kitchen, and placed it on the middle, opening the lids, revealing real perfectly made rice.
The trio then, started jabbing their spoons in getting food fast, not even bothered to use the rice scooper.
As they completed their serving, Yuko noticed an envelope on the table , To: Kashiwagi Yuki.
“Ehh… Mamarin” She shouted across, to the kitchen as Yuki is washing the dirty dishes
“Yes? Yuko”
“There is a letter on the table, do you mind if I open it?” Asking permission from Yuki's
“Ok…. Just tell me what it is about” Yuko and Mayu started lazily tearing the envelope, finding a tickets and a letter, after taking a quick read from the letter, she called Yuki again
“Mamarin, you just got tickets for 2 to Australia.” Yuko excitedly shouted over, shocked by her fortune, Yuki abandons her washing and rushes over, snatching the tickets from Yuko’s hand.
“Jesus Christ… Wooooooooo” She cheered,
“So… who would you wanna bring along” Mayu questioned, poking Yuki on the ribs, slightly on her chest.
“Hmmmmm…..What about you two decide?”
“Mayu, there is only one way of solution” Yuko declared, clenching her fist red
“Yea… I understand” Mayu monotony said, getting into a fighting stance
Seeing the akwards situation, Yuki came to the middle, trying to stop the fight but the duo gaze at her, not to interfere with the fight
Taking a step back Yuki, stood at her respective spot and watched the horror that was about to happen.
The two came, face-to-face pulling their fist to the back, and shouted.
“Jan…….Ken……Pon” Mayu shot out a scissor, while Yuko had her palms fully exposed.
Cheering for her victory, Mayu ran in circles
“Mayu… Since the ticket, expires tomorrow we better get going, on the morning….. pack your bags and get up, at 7…. OK?”
"Un...." Mayu nods
(Yuki’s room)Yuki enters her room, getting on her bed, jumping like crazy, excited and happy as she had an opportunity to visited the heartland of Australia, especially with
her Mayu.
After hopping for a while, she decided to hit the showers and get to bed earlier, leaving tomorrow task of packing to future Yuki.
Since Yuki, is a lazy person, she always packed 3 panties and clothings in the toilet, every morning, so she didn’t have to always take it out of the drawer.
She took her shower and did her entry into Diary-chan, As she was overjoyed and exhausted, everything that was previously in her mind has blanked out, she fell on her bed and surrendered.
(Mayu-Yuko’s new room)Mayu laid on her bed, starring at the ceiling thinking, shuffling her legs in an annoyed manner.
