Not really surprising. I'm indifferent TBH: MLB fans like myself are doomed to mediocrity.

I watched last year's World Series in Tokyo and insisted on switching the audio to Nihongo. You can NOT imagine how peaceful the difference was, listening to a broadcaster who almost certainly preferred baseball to THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE.

These people are ignorant about that fact. Being a father is a lifetime job compared to being a pro athlete. He may be the breadwinner but this isn't the 1950's, a father may not nuture the baby's soul or his hunger but the fact that they give you the knowledge a child needs later on in life could influence his or her decision in life.

Any early guesses about who could make some waves in the post-season this year? I think the A's will make it to the playoffs again this year, and I think they're going to be a bit vindictive considering that they've been knocked out in the first round the past two years. Also I think the Marlins could be a dark horse candidate this year for sure.

Yeah the DBacks have definitely been a surprise this year! I'm a Padres fan and I was expecting them to be at the bottom of the NL West with a record like that around the end of April, not the DBacks.
