My guess.
If this is ticked, then you should get a pop-up message after getting any PMs.
Well, more like when you refresh your window/go to another page in the forum.

If you have problems, maybe it's the browser?
i guess you could try changing to email notification if you think that'll be faster/better.

I have not been able to access the tracker for quite a while now. I took a look at the rules, etc. I don't see where I violated any. Is the tracker still available to USA?

I can't read the rules cause of the april fool joking, and I don't want to do something I shouldn't so I'll ask. There is a animated gif on sankaku complex dot com that I want to know who the model is, can I post the link to it? It's too large to add to save at imageshack.

Instead of directly linking it from Sankaku, it'd be better if you re-uploaded the GIF onto a different image hosting site (like ImageShack or TinyPic or something like that). Also, you might want to wait a day or two before posting it to make sure that the link you post doesn't get "adjusted" by the April Fool's fun that's happening today.
