[Poll] Best 48 Group Single of 2012

The year flew by and it's already the first end of the year poll! (a bit early, but whatever, haha)

Remember how SKE48 shocked the world earlier this year:



Sadly, they started the year with a bang but they never really achieved the same level of impact anymore.
NMB48 had a super successful year. Four solid singles which definitely put them on my radar with "Virginity" as top favorite.
AKB48 had a bit more variety in their releases, for better or worse. Overall it's been a pretty good year I reckon.

Which singles were your favorites?

For me, the choices are pretty easy. In order:

1. AKB48 - UZA - Easily AKB48's most solid single, in my opinion. An amazing A-side song and PV, terrific B-sides, all around a great release. Probably my favorite AKB48 single yet.
2. NMB48 - Virginity - Catchy, fun, scandalous... I really love this song. It's so different and... odd. Only NMB48 could make this work so well.
3. NMB48 - Nagiichi - I love the summer releases, but Manatsu no Sounds Good left something to be desired. Luckily, NMB48 delivered. One of the best summer bikini-ridden releases ever. Great song, great visuals... nothing was wrong with this release(for a summer song). 
4. SKE48 - Aishite raburu - Fun summer release, pretty well done, energetic as all hell as we've come to expect from SKE48. Not quite as awesome as Paleo wa Emerald, but still really good.

Looking at this list, there's only one release I have a problem with: SDN's graduation single. What a waste of great girls letting them go, and what a shame they left on such a 'meh' song. Still, all thing's considered, we had another really great year in the 48 empire.

But even if you added it prolly only I will vote for them really.

If you can, add Hashire! Bicycle plz. That's actually the only Nogizaka single I will vote for if I have four votes.

I added all N46 singles. It's not chronological anymore, but this way I don't have to reset the poll and you can easier see how their singles compare against each other and how the group compares to the 48 groups.

I voted for Give Me Give, Gingham Check, Eien Pressure... and Nagiichi.
But now Nogizaka46 are added, I'd like to change one of those to a Nogizaka song, but I don't know how...

SKE48 - Kataomoi Finally: Massive hype, shocking previews, cool song
SKE48 - Aishiteraburu!: Best summer single, girls looked great, always cheers me up
NMB48 - Virginity: Awesome vibes all around, dig this sound
AKB48 - Gingham Check: Catchy, cool PV, etc.

Overall I think NMB48 had the strongest year though as all their singles were solid.

Junjou U-19,   da funk, flair and fanfare. It's all fun, man.
UZA,   coolest single they've done. AKB's own Mortal Kombat theme, hell yeah!
Virginity,   that swing sound is so good. And then there's that trumpet oh lawd.
Kitagawa Kenji,   party song up in here.

I know most people don't like it, but I have a special place for Manatsu no Sounds good! outside this list of four.

My top four :

1. Uza : the coolest single from akb48. All of the coupling songs are so nice too.
2.  guru-guru curtain : debut single from N46 that makes me love them since the first time I watched the PV. I also love the b-side too.
3. Nagichii : catchy a-side and b-sides. And nagichii pv is full of win.hehe.
4.seifuku no mannequin :  cool song from N46.

UZA: i loved everything from this single tbh.
kataomoi finally: i liked the theme of the song and it made me get into ske48.
junjou u-19: loved the pv and the b-sides.
seifuku no mannequin: really liked this song out of all of their singles, and the dance is cool.

SKE48 Katamoi Finally - Probably one of the best SKE singles this year. I liked the edgier and darker SKE and the PV was a great bonus.

NMB48 Kitagawa Kenji - Wasn't really a fan when I first heard it, but after a second listening the chorus really gets stuck in your head. It's catchy and I love the PV, NMB with glasses is just...awesome.

AKB48 UZA - In my opinion the best AKB single from this year. I like the other singles as well, I was stuck between choosing either this or Give Me Five, but overall I think UZA was the best. I like the new direction they went in for this single, and the concept was really cool.

NMB48 Virginity - NMB really impressed me this year, the singles they released were all pretty good. Virginity is probably one of my favorites though, I love the instrumental, it sounds a lot different from all the other ***48 songs, and I love watching them perform this live. Plus hearing them sing virginity in their accents is really hilarious.

I wanted to vote for Eien Pressure, just because I really loved HA. But, well I guess it doesn't really count when I only like one song from the entire single.
