If Nishioka got up then nobody would even be talking about anything. But that's the point, isn't it? Swisher DID slide out of the baseline, away from the bag and kicked at Nishioka's shin. It wasn't Hal McRae in the '77 ALCS but come on, that wasn't a CLEAN slide like Jeter's was on the previous play.

If Swisher slides straight into the bag and comes into contact with Nishioka's leg then that's just bad luck, just like Justin Morneau and his concussion. Freaky stuff happens sometimes. I just don't believe Swisher's act constituted "good, clean, hard baseball."

And his "I thought he would jump" bit... Well, what to do about all these beanballs to the helmet? Shouldn't they have gotten out of the way?

Yeah, I'll forget about this play in a week or so, just caught me the wrong way, all this stuff...

agreed with that fact but just sad he did retire supposedly he might come to the baseball game here, on a person's VIP list

Went to the April 21st game at Safeco Field with the JPH!P Crew.: alohellofan, Ricker708, rokun, OpsMonkey, and thatonezombie!! Felix Hernandez dusting fools 1-0 on Kennedy's Homer, Hideki Matsui sat and we was "KURT SUZUKI SUCKS" the whole time behind a couple of A's fans, vs our army of Berryz Wotas! Game went by real fast, hella cold but it was worth it. cheap seats sit anywhere!

Took the free bus down, Qwest Field in the distance. couple of Ichiro butt shots, screaming loud!
