i'm curious to know the number of sales of H!P photobooks and other merchandise.  is there anywhere on the net where they post up the number of sales sold either in stores or online?
 for example.  i heard Takahashi Ai's 19 was the #1 best-selling photobook in 2006. wat was her record sales?

^ 19 was not #1. Sanspo reported it as H!P's highest seller for the year at #10. But then again, Yahoo.jp and a tv book show had Konno's Alo-Halo as H!P's top seller for '06. These rankings can be highly subjective, though, depending on how they do their count, and I've yet to see any official numbers to go along with them.

Oh you mean this one? ->   :wahaha:

It's H!M Episode #288 [2005.12.04].  :)

Haha, yeah that's the one, thanks. Time to pay a trip to Stage6 then, though really I only wanted it for the "Koharu-chan, bye bye!" quote.

@BigDmn01:

In addition to flamingmoe's comment I can say I've never seen comprehensive PB sales figures or rankings. Every ranking you see is for a certain store. Rankings published in the media are probably supplied by the publishers. I guess they like to keep the sales figures to them selves and Up-Front of course.

In late June 2006, some time after the release of "ecru", online hate campaigns were started against Abe because she was accused of killing a national treasure tortoise in the DVD making of. The making of doesn't show her even touching the tortoise. It was moved, but it was done by the production staff, not Abe herself. Most people consider this just another attempt by media to make another scandal. Abe herself has refused to make comments and it has not affected any of her Hello! Project-related activities.

Is this true? I never heard about this before. :S

^ Yeah, I remember when that happened. It turned out to not be that big of a deal. Most people had stopped talking about it after about a week.

Why does Kaorin have a green screen cloth over her legs in this picture?

because her skirt is too short ...... she needa cover .......

That and so the light won't reflect off her dress or legs and onto her face, i'm guessing.

LIGHTING IS IMPORTANT!!!

It's weird that no one else has it though XD

In Japan, is there like a TV channel that is like, dedicated to MoMusu and they just play MoMusu stuff all day?  XD It seems like there are a lot of Morning Musume TV shows and stuff they do, plus I saw a little short video with Reina and   she introduces herself and says, "Tsunku TV!"

And who the heck is Danielle or something?!?

quote from http://wiki.theppn.org/Coconuts_Musume:

Coconuts Musume were recruited by Hello! Project mastermind Tsunku after his former bandmate Makoto spotted them performing at a restaurant in Waikiki and they made their debut on ASAYAN in June 1999. The group originally consisted of five members: Ayaka Kimura, Chelsea Ching, April Barbaran, Danielle Delaunay, and Mika Todd.
