Anyone here collect Idoling!!!'s goods?
So far I think that Idoling's DVD boxes are the best idol dvd being sold ever. There are just tons of episode, fun as hell to watch and a lot of freebies that comes along with it. The only shortcoming is the onegai fan-sama gets ton of cuts. btw anyone got the set B card collection for season 3? Among the 3 set, B looks amazing... At first I thought that season 3 cover was amazing, but season 4's white color theme was even better.
Too bad the goods from the 6th live is already sold out from FujiTV eShop... Only Kaede's Tshirt is left...

I didn't take any of the CDs, and yeah, I'm too cheap to get the DVD boxes at the moment... :lol: I regret getting part 3 & 4 of this year's Natsuyasuming!!! though, as they were a complete waste of time. I also have a bunch of random magazines and the Suu-chan shirt I got at Ya! O!! ng!!!.

I really want to buy some T-shirts too, especially the numbering t-shirts for their concerts. Idoling has good amount of T-shirts which I really like the design. The ones for the odaiba gasshukoku (sp?) are pretty good too, especially the one that Amimi designed.
Ayabie has the T-shirt for the Sakacchi's team during the boukennou, that's a nice one! Great buy

Bought on the last day of my trip at sakura-ya.
An Endou Mai box set that came out last year.
I thought it was a box of collectible cards, because it was in that section. Instead, i got this:
1. a hanging cloth poster (if it's 1:1, then Maipuru can't fit on my bed... :()
2. a handkerchief with her and a hamburger (this kinda freaks me :shocked cos I can't imagine anyone wiping their hands/mouth with a pic of a girl with food. that just doesn't compute :smhid)

Even so, its a real relief to see Idoling!!! goods are within buy-able price at least. AKB is really cruel with their goods price.

Reading and seeing what stuffs you can buy from Fujitv website makes me really want to start collecting Idoling!!! things now!
Being a newbie here, does Fuji website only accept special kind of payment or will any international credit card do?

If I remembered correctly, any international credit card will do. I had my transaction done by my friend and I couldn't contact him now to double check on this matter, sorry. However I do believe that the shipping is strictly to Japan address only. Maybe someone else could verify this matter.

The Hii/Kaede calendar was smaller than I expected but the pics are pretty. I was only a couple of days late, if not I would have gotten myself the 5th concert towel for #12. Suddenly it went out of stock. :cry:
The pics collection on the website is pretty intriguing though.

the fact that the soccer jersey is only limited to fan-sama club is a dream crushing fact. To top it up, I just realized that the 8th live official T shirts are those white/green with yellow writing... It's so... lazily design if not not designed at all~! What a thing to do... Right after the 5th concert, concert T-shirts are degrading in quality or something lately... Its hardly colour coded anymore.

I'm just wondering, does eshop.fujitv.co.jp ship internationally? I'm curious as to how some of you guys got your T-shirts...
I'm custom ordering that green and white Rurika shirt, gonna be awesome (my first idol related piece of clothing lol).
The Fuji TV eShop does not accept the overseas order, but you can find some international buyer agent to help you.

yeah,the gekkan dvd is an exception,got it from an auction on Yahoo. But I did that one with japantodoor. If Yahoo Japan wouldn't block users from outside of japan from registering,I could've bid myself and send it through tenso (which is cheaper than japantodoor)...

yeah,they provide you an address in Japan,where you can have mail & packages sent to, and they forward it. So you still need to do the buying (or joining a fan club) yourself.
It's a little cheaper (but more work) than a service that does it for you. And joining a fan club is something you need to do yourself anyway ;p

Yes,I can. You can access the uRa idoling and Mailingu videos, a BBS and the shop to buy goods and some dvds (as long as they're not sold out). And send a message to a member :)

Got these from this week gasshuukoku. Bought it mainly for the handshake event though :nervous. Got Kurata Ruka QT card and Nagano Serina trading card.
I was really disappointed with the QT card. It had a phone wallpaper, and two 3GP video less than a minute. Not worth value for money. I would love to buy the gasshuukoku t-shirts too if it doesn't cost 3150 yen. Only Maipuru and Rurika's design are sold out.

during gasshuukoku, each member get to design their own T-shirt. I think that all the team members will be wearing the same shirt that was designed by one of the member in the group designed and then change into another t-shirt by another member in the next week to come.

the fuji TV e-shop is open to everyone as long as you register at the FujiTV website which is free but the shipment is only done inside Japan so you're going to need a Japanese address.
as for the TIF numbering shirt, it is limited to the fan-sama club only and also ships only inside Japan

one thing about any fan sama goods is that it is smaller in size compared to the non-fan sama shirts it seem. I'm guessing because of different make, its not printstar when it comes to fan sama t-shirts. the CDL t-shirt is a bit smaller to the numbering t-shirts albeit the same size for me.

And I got lucky buying the toreka packs of Sakacchi and got an autograph card! (I'm glad I went back to Shosen book tower on my last day to buy 2 more packs ^^)

I've also ordered some stuff from the eshop before, but it didn't take that long to get to tenso if I recall correctly. But I don't remember if there was that piece of red text back then. Both the eshop and the fansama shop are quite fast to ship, but I guess if it says it could take 3-4 weeks it's probably true. Probably because left-over stock gets moved to another warehouse which takes a little longer to process.

Finally finished my cd collection, got all the japanese versions of the CD's (all editions of each single and album) including the AKBIdoling ones. Not getting the Taiwan versions of the albums. Have all the live DVD's as well now.

I went to Tokyo last fall so, of course, I had to make a pilgrimage to FujiTV HQ in Odaiba. I was shocked to find no Idoling!!! goods or even a mention of them in the shop there. I found out after the fact that there is another shop downstairs that has the Idoling!!! stuff. :doh:
All I came home with was the 2nd Bikini photobook, which is certainly very nice. I'll be back there for the first 2 weeks of September so I hope to get some more loot this time.

Yeah I was tempted by some Yazawa costume cards at Nakano Broadway last year, and that is where I picked up my PB as well. There are sooooo many shops in Akiba I didn't know which ones to even look in. You could spend a week just peeking in all of the otaku shops there.

Akiba has indeed so many shops that you really need to know where to look, especially as Akiba is filled with AKB merch in terms of idol groups... (could have changed a bit since January)
That shop in Akiba, is Shosen Book Tower. On the 6th,7th or 8th floor (I forgot which one...) you'll find a huge selection of PB, DVD, magazines, (signed) calendars & a few toreka.
Some Lammtara shops also have photobooks but selection is rather limited and you'd have to look through a maze of very narrow corridors filled with all sorts of other stuff, but regular idol stuff (read: non AV) is usually on the ground floor (1F).
Ishimaru No. 2 where there was also the event space and a small section of idol dvds & PB got closed down, so I don't know to which Ishimaru shop they relocated that to.
Again, Nakano Broadway has the best overall selection. On my last day last time, I did find another shop in Radio Kaikan in Akiba that sold full sets of toreka, but since Radio Kaikan is getting demolished to build a new building, all the shops are relocated temporarily so I don't know where that is now...
About FujiTV, I made the same mistake the first time of going to the shop upstairs. it wasn't until I discovered there was a variety shop downstairs. Back in January 2010, they still had quite some stock (although still rather old), and one year later I went there again with kei_86, they were the left overs from the year before and nothing new was added. The only new thing were the official Idoling toreka and folders at the counter. I will look again next time, but I'm expecting almost nothing is left now. It's sad to see that FujiTV isn't just putting their left over stock in that shop.

and it's very difficult now to get into the fanclub as a foreigner as they no longer accept foreign credit cards. I got into the fanclub before they changed that policy. So as long as my credit card doesn't expire, I can stay in the fanclub :)
BUT the fanclub shop uses a different payment system than fujitv, so I can still order from the shop with a foreign card :)
This particular DVD doesn't get released until october, so it's pre-order.

I've been so close to buying this for a really long time, but could never get much info on what was actually on there. What kind of footage is in the Guam segments? And how many songs from the concert are on there?
Also, I've found a really high-res version of the I no STANDARD PV on YouTube, and I have all their regular Guam DVDs, yet I can't find where this PV actually came from. Anyone know? Was it just aired on the show at some point? It uses footage that I can tell is the same as the 2010 Guam DVD set, yet it is not on that set. Same members, same outfits, etc. Is it maybe on one of these Blu-rays?
I'm also curious as to how the Guam Blu-ray from earlier this year turned out. Has anyone seen it or gotten it yet?

The price is fine for me, but I'll buy it myself from Amazon Japan, have it sent to tenso and then I'll send everything to my hotel when I'm there. Which will still be cheaper than to buy it full price or second hand.
@hellguard89 : thanks for the offer, but I don't want to bother you to buy expensive things that I am able to buy myself from outside of Japan. Me & kei_86 will need your help to buy tickets for the TGS concert anyway. Money is precious for students, the less I owe you the better :)

About the Idoling BD 3D, I really enjoyed both. I appreciate the fact that this is the only Idol group who releases stuff in 3D (must be the back up of FujiTV). For example, AKB48 barely releases stuff in bluray alone.

I also noticed a clear transition to bluray, some of the latest releases aren't even available on dvd, only bluray, like the last numbering concert, Guam Idoling!!!, ...
I think Idoling!!! is in fact the only idol group that has released anything in 3D, and even released more than one 3D bluray, so it's not just one-off fad (at least for now).
I love it, we like our idols in full HD :w00t:
Now if only they'd do this for the season dvds as well, that would be so nice. I'd give anything to have Season 1 on bluray in Full HD. Every episode since the beginning has been recorded in HD, but most sources, TV broadcast or OnDemand, were DVD quality (or worse) back then. Only when they show the first or old episodes again when someone graduates, that we see that it was in fact recorded in HD.

Hell, I wish I had access to any of the seasons in any quality format, really. I've been wanting to start at the beginning and watch the whole thing, but I've heard the season DVDs are incomplete and I can't find downloads for the individual episodes. I just wish there was some way I could get a decent collection of these as downloads or streaming, but everything I've found is pretty disorganized and incomplete, and any torrents I've found have barely any seeders left. I absolutely love the Blu Ray and DVD releases that I have from them, they're some of my favorite pieces of media that I own, but I feel like I'm missing out on so much by not having seen a lot of the TV episodes.

In fact, I think Idoling!!! is not the only one in 3D. There's a Bluray of an Idol Group known as "Sphere" (Rings live tour 2010)but looks like it's not Bluray 3D format, so probably is the cheaper 3D. So yes, Idoling!!! must be the only one in real Bluray3D :twothumbs

So, can anyone recommend the Idoling/YGA live DVDs? I notice there is one for 2011 and one for I believe the year before that. The tracklist for the 2011 one looks like pure heaven and I'm about to just impulse buy the hell out of it, but I wanted to ask if anyone who has seen them can elaborate how they're set up.
It looks like they mix it up a bit and sing each other's songs as well as some of their own, but I'm also wondering, does this have any use of a live band like Idoling's major concerts do? And do they sing live or is it a generic idol concert with just newly recorded lipsync tracks? I'm pretty close to buying since the price is really reasonable for a ton of content, but I may reconsider if its just a bland concert like most major idol concerts with a karaoke track playing in the background and assisted vocal tracks and stuff. If this is done a little more like Idoling's concerts, I'm buying one of these immediately.
Also, if anyone has seen both of them, which one would you say is better than the other? I'd think the 2011 tracklist would be pretty hard to beat, but who knows.

Most of the DVD footages are in the special episode of Idoling!!!. On the DVD there's a talk section which isn't in the special episode.
It took more time to ripp it (cause my computer shut off in the middle of the process) than expected. Now it's done and downloadable via RS.

so it seems like the goods for the 12th goods are out already. The normal numbering T-shirt just keeps on degrading in value as the numbering live goes on... At the very least the numbering towel looks good.
I wish they'd put a larger pic of all the goods though, it'll be great as a reference as to what to buy from the live hall. The sweater looks like it could be really cool but can't see the design and there's no picture of the toto bag, cap, ticket holder, penlight, bracelet.... What's with the 12th Live newspaper too lol :lol:
I'm only getting the numbering towel for now until other picture of the goods surfaces. otherwise, I'll just get only the towel. Not going to spend money on something I'm not sure about the design

well I personally really like the print and the quality of the parka, just my only problem is that it is only up to XL and no XXL. Still, everything is good.

That is a pretty cool hoodie! I just don't like pull-over ones like that, I prefer the zipper! If I could find one of those for pretty cheap I would maybe get it, but I just never end up wearing those kinds of jackets very much, and the retail price is way too high, lol.

I've be to the TRIO's in Nakano Broadway (they are split into 3 stores on 3 floors) but I didn't even know there is one in Akiba. There are other shops in Nakano Broadway with a lot of second hand Idoling!!! goods. I was soooo close to buying a card with a swatch of Yazawa's bikini. :nervous

I appeared in an AKB quiz show a while back and they shot my introduction video at TRIO in Akihabara :lol:
Highly recommended for any idol fan, no matter which group you're into. They have pretty much everything at very good prices.
I was looking for Tonooka's first PB, but couldn't find that anywhere, not even at any of the book-offs. Aw well...

It is a fanmade t-shirt that was on sale for 2500 yen on a pre-order basis for 1/22 Shibuhachi. I think they gave away the t-shirt to every members on that day.

No wonder it's fanmade since most Idoling goods are basic in design. The back is nice too.

No but I wished I had ordered it :( I thought I could maybe buy it on the day of the live but I arrived a little after the live had started so they had already stopped selling those shirts by the time I arrived.
This shirt is probably the first fanmade goods that is for sale. Usually we get free uchiwa and glowsticks for birthday celebrations but a t-shirt is a first.
