UPDATE 20 (Part 2 of 2)Two different moans echoed in the small rented hotel room. Their blanket rustled as they relentlessly move from side to side. One body laid close to the other, delicately touching each other once in a while. Risa’s clothes were drenched with sweat and her companion as well was bathing in sweet scented perspiration. The night was warm and dry. The room’s air conditioner broke down a couple of minutes ago making the temperature rise even more.
Groaning, Risa sat up. Too lazy to open her eyes she removed her clothes in quick motion and tossed them over her shoulders producing a soft thud as they landed on the tiled floor. After completing her task, she then laid down again and snuggled closer to the other girl. The girl next to her was still uneasy, making Risa got up again and went to open the windows before undressing her companion. Just like her clothes’ fate, the girl’s landed on the floor and sprawled everywhere. She returned to her laying position and cuddled the girl again but this time both were calm and at rest. Soft breathing then followed and together they peacefully journeyed to their own dreamland.
When Risa recollected the morning scene after that fateful night, how Ai reacted to waking up without any clothes on, she giggled, attracting the attention of the attendant. She swiftly composed herself and eyed her own reflection on the mirror. That’s when the recent morning incident came into her mind and her previous jolly mood was replaced with a gloomy one.
“Short. I need it short”
“Okay” the attendant responded.
After a few more minutes, everything was finished. She paid the bill and left the building. On her way to her car, she took her phone out, dialed a number and placed it back in after a quick conversation and then she took off.

The beer was cold when it entered Nakazawa’s mouth and was still cold when it reached her stomach. She’s done eating her lunch at her home when Risa phoned her. While waiting for Risa’s arrival she took another can and waited at her porch.
“That beer had better be as cold as you promised it is” Risa uttered after bowing to her senpai.
“I lied. It’s colder.” She said while handing one to her house guest.
“Thank you” Risa opened it and took one big gulp. Indeed the beer was cool and crisp in her throat.
“What happened to the hair?” Risa only shrugged.
“Have you eaten yet?” Risa did not respond, but her stomach did answer for her, it growled. Shaking her head, Nakazawa stood up and motioned Risa to come inside the house.
“Take a seat, I’ll get your food” Risa obeyed and proceeded to the dining table.
“Here. It’s not healthy intaking alcohol without any food down there”
“Thank you. Have you seen our report?”
“Yeah, this morning”
“Any progress with the search team?”
“They are still on it” Nakazawa replied while giving out a loud sigh. Exasperated that the crime remained unsolved and the criminal still at large. The room went silent. Risa continued eating her brunch while Nakazawa gulped down her second can when the phone rang.
“Moshi-moshi”
“What?! Where?!” Risa placed down her chopsticks and focused her attention to her senpai’s.
“Someone’s found dead.”
