UPDATE 22Almost inaudibly, Risa heard her name like a mantra. Her head was aching really bad, making it harder for her to open her eyes easily and her brain to function properly.
Groaning, she was about to feel her head with her hand but was stopped midway when a warm hand grabbed hers.
“Risa, are you okay?” the voice was eliciting concern and was more audible this time. She recognized the voice immediately even with her eyes closed.
The hand gripped hers a little too tightly when she didn’t respond and some warm liquid ran down on her hand. She slowly opened her eyes but the light was like a hot dagger that probed behind her eyes. Blinking a few times to adjust from the brightness and finally adjusting, that’s when she saw a crying Ai holding her hand under her shaking chin, tears falling one after the other, staring at her.
“Am I dreaming?”
Shaking her head in response, Ai continued to cry, louder this time. Sobbing like a little kid.
“What happened?” Why are you crying?”
“I thought you were someone else. I didn’t recognize you from your back, it’s your hair” after hearing Ai’s words, a glimmer appeared in Risa’s eyes but it immediately vanished as fast as it appeared.
“So you’re the reason why I’m having a headache now” acting like she was mad, she retreaded her hand from Ai’s grasp and looked the other way, hiding a smirk from the crying lady.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t know it was you” Ai panicked. “Please forgive me” softly touching Risa’s arms, trying to make her look her way but she failed.
Risa was trying really hard not to give in. God knows how happy she is right now, knowing that Ai is perfectly fine. It feels like there’s a thorn that was taken from her heart and it’s now breathing well. A little act wouldn’t hurt was Risa’s thoughts.
“Risa, I’ll do anything just please forgive me” and her sob became even louder.
Swiftly turning her head toward the sobbing girl she asked, “Anything?” and Ai nodded.
“I was not able to finish my food… cook something delicious for me”
Wiping her tears away with the back of her own hands, Ai nodded “Okay, what do you want me to cook?”
“Anything delicious” after hearing Risa’s response, Ai stood up from her sitting position and headed to the door.
“You forgot something” Risa said making Ai froze from her track and looked back at Risa. The girl on the bed pointed her forefinger on her cheek still wearing a blank face.
“Why? What happened to your cheek? Does it hurt?” inquired the oblivious Ai while taking quick steps toward the bed.
Rolling her eyes, Risa replied “Yes. And it needed something to ease the pain”
“You want me to get an ice pack?” she asked while examining Risa’s face with worry.
Groaning, Risa rolled her eyes once more “Your kiss will do”
Ai was stoned for a moment. After putting Risa’s words together she blushed and a shy smile appeared.
“I’m waiting” with that said, Ai leaned down and kissed Risa’s cheek, a little longer than necessary. Her breath became shallow and heavy when her skin touched Risa’s. Risa on the other hand love the proximity and was about to hold the girl closer but Ai retreaded after hearing Risa’s growling stomach.
“I’ll be back in a flash” said the blushing Ai. She headed to her closet and took something. Facing the staring Risa, she tossed a shirt and headed to the door after saying flatly “Take that off, it’s reminding me of something”
“Shit” looking down, the lipstick stain was still present. Obeying the house owner’s command she sat up, undressed and then put on the tossed top. After dressing up, she looked around for her missing jacket. Finding it on the couch, she stood up and walked towards it. She needed to know who the found dead body was.
“Eri”

“Did they call you about the new found victim?”

“Have I met the victim?”

“Who is it this time?”

Ai was focusing on her task at hand. Her hair was tied up in a bun and she wore a green apron. She was frying some ebi when two warm hands snaked around her slender waist, followed by a warm breath on the nape of her neck. She jumped a little in surprise but collected herself after a second. Patting her guest’s head with her left hand she said “It will be ready in a minute” Risa didn’t budge and so Ai continued stirring the pan with Risa hugging her from behind.
“Smells good” whispered Risa as she nestled her face on Ai’s neck.
“Which one?” asked the cook, one brow arcing.
“Both” she lightly rubbed her face on Ai’s exposed skin making the girl stiffen. Risa’s hands started to move and crawl on Ai’s body when the girl became silent. Exploring, trying to tickle and to make her captive’s hair raise and stand on its ends.
“I’m still mad at you” Risa’s advances stopped and her body slouched on Ai’s.
“I didn’t do anything bad last night. I was working” reasoned Risa as the girl inside her embrace wiggled and was trying to escape from their current physical intimacy.
“Save it. I will only listen after you have eaten”
“How about, when I get back from work?” Ai turned around to face her captor.
“Is it not your free time until six hour from now?”
“Yes. But something important came up” Ai stared down and started to pout. After a while a pair of lips landed on her nose.
“I’ll be here by dinner and probably I can skip work after that. How’s that sound?”
