Just finished rewatching “Gokusen” Season 1 (2002) and a shout out to two actresses that had parts in the series.
The series lead was Yukie Nakama as a teacher who grew up in a Yakuza family, who ends up
in her first job being in charge of some very non-model students. Jun Matsumoto had the second lead as one of
those students
As a guest star, then Sixteen year old Yui Ichikawa played the younger sister of Jun’s Character.
And she was gorgeous, and convincing in her part.
Morning Musume’s Yuko Nakazawa
Had a full supporting role in the series,
and indeed one of the episodes centered
on her character. First class acting Yuko san!
