And a new music video. Of course you can't actually see anything because of the crappy quality, but the song sounds good.

I'm not a huge fan but they're not bad.  Anybody who likes Kaela Kimura should give them a listen. The guitarist/lead singer for asparagus is her touring guitarist and has written a few of her songs.

Awesome, thanks. I'm not a huge fan either, but they're pretty damn good. I enjoyed Mont Blanc quite a bit. Its better than their Kappa albums I thought.

They're going minimalist?

I like it.

there's nothing minimalist about putting "RECORDED AND MIXED BY DAVE FRIDMANN AT TARBOX ROAD STUDIOS" in an album cover :V

New VELTPUNCH album next month.

Great news! Thanks for the 411.
The new song DIC954 is a lot cleaner/softer sounding than anything off the White Album.  I thought I was watching a Base Ball Bear PV. hahaha. (not really a dis since I like BeBoBe)  The other new sample, "Mouse of the Pain" is closer to what I was expecting.

I can't wait till "Paint Your Life Gray" drops Sept 3.
Crappy that I miss the tour opener @ Shelter and the show in Nagoya with one of my other fave bands.. Qomolangma Tomato.
But I'll be in Japan Oct 4-19 so I'll try to convince my friends we need to head to Sendai on the 13th. An excuse to use our JR pass and check out Hokkaido. hahaha
(the list of shows I get to catch on my next trip is starting to look nice: (actually my next trip is Aug 16-31, and I might even go again in Nov/Dec)
Sambomaster/YSIG @ Shelter Oct 5
FREENOTE @ Shimo Que Oct 9
Rin Toshite Shigure/The Telephones/Ogre You Piehole/Art-School @ Akasaka Blitz Oct 10
Qomo Tomato @ Daikan Unit Oct 11
Veltpunch Oct 13
and hopefully the band I recently got my friend addicted to: Midori (they told me they'll be touring in October though no set dates yet).

Don't know if you like either of these bands but other new releases I'm keen on = FREENOTE "Route 3" Sept 24 and Spangle Call Lilli Line's new album Sept 23 (don't know the title and the release date is based on what I saw at Tower when I was in Japan a couple weeks ago). oh... and a new release from Mass of the Fermenting Dregs some time in 2013.

And these clips are old but you guys might not have seen them:

 if I didn't know any better I could have almost swear that was a Baseball Bear PV, though was missing the guitar melodies they usually have.

^ I remember those drum vids on nico nico. wish I had a decent drum set and try to learn :P

and lol, masudore release. We can finally get 2 more songs in 5 years!

Thanks for all the dates, now I know what to expect/look for if I feel like it.

Digging that akasaka blitz line-up.

Yeah, I'm excited for the new SCLL album. Finally, after decades!

And yay, VELTPUNCH. How to say the song name?
