Aaahhhg, I don't know. It's a pretty solid effort but... it ain't no Naraba.

Guess I'm always gonna be let down with expectations that high. I mean, it is a good album with some killer tunes, and at times they almost reach that raw emotional high that made them so memorable in their first effort, yet I'm sort of... unimpressed.

Oh well, just first impressions. We'll see.

Hm, I kind of feel the same way. Though it did take me quite a while to like their last album. It just needs to grow on me.

 I feel the same way.

It's good, but there's that something missing. Like stryfe said, that emotion you feel when listening to their older stuff isn't really there.

It's a lot more rhythmic and rock-ish I think and not as dynamic and melodic as their older stuff, which I thought they had a perfect balance of before.

By the way, is it tagged te' or té?

I think this was discussed before, but last.fm insists té is the correct tag, despite all their official websites citing te'.

well the logo looks like té and when typed out they always use te'. I perfer te' myself since that's also what amazon and the zankyo site uses and that's all official enough for me. Though the pronunciation would be different depending on which one you use.

Someone should just go ask the band.

And while we're on te' here's the PV for Yume to blah blah blah. Typing out té is like saying the whole title of every track

And kono has the limited Rei shirt I wanted :/

I've liked everything they've released so far, but yeah, there's just something about the first album. It's got a rawer sound.

I'd say té is the more correct tag, but like SITS said the official one seems to be te'. I believe té is harder to type with a Japanese keyboard?

So, VOLA's guitarist left the band to concentrate on unkie.

Both bands have albums out this month.

Thanks ronin, and inazawa fanboy.

Listened through it a few times already. Its really short lol. Nothing really caught my attention like Waiting For My Food, or Android even, though.

It's like their last album. A couple really awesome songs and a bunch of bland boring songs.

A bit late jumping on the "New Veltpunch is their best eva" bandwagon, but I'll hop in coz it is. Even the poppier tracks have edge, memorable riffs, and some fucking balls. Great stuff. Diverse, catchy tunes. GJ.

...

Also thanks for the Lostage... I haven't listened to it much yet but the general feel I get is that no single song really sticks out, but I sort of like the mood. Which indicates a wee bit lackluster songwriting. What happened since Play with Isolation, huh? That album had the perfect balance.

And the new Vola has its moments but generally it's just. so. fucking. bland. Not nearly as bad as Shitdroid but... C'mon, Inazawa. You can do it.

An imitation's superstar seems to be the only stand out song from the new album. I nearly bought it because I thought it was 9 songs, but there are 3 interludes and an intro... I'm not going to pay over £10 + p&p for a mini-album.

New 9mm Parabellum Bullet out tomorrow called "Vampire"! ! 11 tracks, but 2 of them are Wanderland AND Supernova.

The new 9mm album is rather good, and they have a song over 4mins  [if you ignore the 35 minute live track]

note: its in m4a format, low bitrate and not my upload :O

I'd like please. Didn't know the album was out already. Saw the video for Vampire Girl a few days ago. Pretty good song.

And I haven't listened to that veltpunch album yet, I should get to that. Was never really a big fan of them, but that song was some good stuff.
