Well the new Rin Toshite has been leaked. If you haven't grabbed it already, I recommend you head to the Obscure Artist thread and do so.

The new album is bad ass. I love how this band continues to evolve and push themselves without sounding like shit or ditching their sound. I still don't know what song is my favorite after i few listens, but I'm leaning towards mib126 for its epicness. It's like the whole album in one track.

I'm liking everything about this album, except for the cover. I guess they were serious about the dead inspiration... It's still hard to pick any favorites, but it feels good to know they'll probably still be around if TK runs out of lyrics.

New album is goooood stuff. I like the whole thing more than their previous album. Songs have killer instrumentation. Great playing. I also can't pick out a favorite yet, but a few, like Tremolo+A and a over die, caught my ears at first listen.

Hmmm...  if it were my first exposure to RTS I'd say it's an unbelieveably good album.
They stepped up the instrumentation and they're tighter than ever.
However, within the album there isn't a whole lot of variation.  On top of that, listening to each song brings moments of deja vu.  There are parts of songs that sound eerily similar to motifs they've used in the past.  The vocal melodies in particular are exceedingly simple and re-hashed maybe in a different key but with the same intervals.
Take any given song in isolation.. it's fucking mind-blowing.  But listening to the tracks one after each other, and having their older material subliminally fossilized in my brain the album seems repetitive.  It seems to me they were fucking lazy in coming up with material for this album.  They seem to use the same mold/blueprint for each song, change up the intro a bit, add some more gain/distort to the bass, make minor tweaks to the arrangement and call it a new song.
A+ on musicianship but C minus for overall creativity.
Qomolangma Tomato are nowhere near as skilled as musicians but "Camouflage" is easily the superior album at least to my ears.
Plus the bonus DVD with footage from their one-man at Daikan Unit perfectly distills the energy and brilliance of their legendary live performances.  The latter half of the DVD from "seijaku.." to "359.." is especially godhead.
Also, the Kll Your TV comp is another album I'm enjoying a lot more than RTS "Just A Moment"

Maybe inspiration really is dead...

Anyway, good album, some cool tracks, re-hash galore, somewhat forgettable as a whole, doesn't touch #4.

They were a fun band and had a kick ass live. Never really listened to them much though, much better live. They'll still be missed, it's always a bit sad to see a band you've listened to break up.
