I was thinking... reading the reports... a lot of people got ill one way or another and I saw a few people comment that they didn't become ill at all. The people who didn't become ill, did they perhaps sleep in some other hotel? I'm thinking it's the air con that's to blame. Air con can help spread illnesses. Could it be Legionnaire's disease? Just read the first few paragraphs, it sure sounds like it.

Mugen and I stayed in the same hotel room with jab and neither of us got sick, I don't think dai got sick either and he was rooming with us too.

A lot of people who got sick didn't make contact with each other outside of the con. I'm almost pretty sure it's some stuff that was being spread around the con grounds.

I was gonna take a break from JPH!P, for various reasons, but I don't think I can until I know Jab is ok.

Jabronisaur aka Tim Marks passed away about an hour ago. The time is now 6:30 PM EST. July 16, 2009.

I just got a call from his brother Chuck. He told him there was 5 pages of well wishes...and that he had the best time in the world with guys like us at JPHIP who share a similiar passion. He mother and father by his side.. He could not respond but he heard.

Forever Remembered Jab, you did all you could possibly could at Anime Expo. We love you.

i didnt know him and i know he didnt know me but i really cant belive this, who would have thought this would have happened just from going to an anime expo

I am in utter shock... I expected to meet him one day when he moved here to Oahu.

Thanks for the news dai, however unexpected and tragic. If possible please relay contact info for his family. I'd like to pay my respects in some fashion.

OMG! I'm in shock right now.

I read that he was getting better and was so happy and thought everything was going to be okay. I'm really shocked and stunned right now. Jab was one of the greatest members of JPH!P. He was always so kind and welcoming to everyone, truly a nice and great guy. He's going to be really missed. I know for sure I'll miss seeing him around the chatroom, and always cheering us DJ's on and supporting us, and greeting all of the newbies and making them feel so welcomed. Jab was one of the first members I got to know 3 years ago, and he's been one of the best people I've gotten to know here. I'm really going to miss him. God bless him and his family. My sincerest condolences

Holy Shit. In shock right now. I was confident he would make a full recovery and return to us.

Condolences to his family and friends. Jab was a great guy and we had one hell of a time at Anime Expo. Glad I was able to make good memories with him.
