One diva that many consider unmatchable, even any one to attempt her songs will always be compared to her.  She will be missed and especially this one:

too young, way too young to die :(

Can't even imagine what happened. Like it's not even happening. Legends I grew up with dying left and right. Miss you Whitney, greatest voice in music history. King and Queen of Pop in Heaven now...they met up doing work for charities.

So many legends in this pic:

listening to all her songs on HiP HoP Hizzy tribute, these quotes hit me hard:

"All at once, I finally took a moment and I'm realizing...you're not coming back
And it finally hit me all at once."

:(

And this how I always lived my life:

"I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity"

Ain't no one in the business can touch or will touch this voice. SHOWSTOPPER

Looking forward to the Grammy's tribute tonite.

the tributes be pouring in!

Aretha Franklin performed Whitney’s iconic single from The Bodyguard soundtrack at the McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday night. “I would like you to share this moment with me in acknowledging one of the greatest singers,” Franklin said before the applauding crowd.

Such a beautiful ceremony. I watched with my mom and aunt.

"So off you go Whitney, off you go, escorted by an army of angels to your heavenly father and when you sing before him don't you worry, you'll be good enough."-Kevin Costner

No question mode. Real inspirational and celebrated the life and hey, God is there for you. Highlight was the insightful commentary by Dionne, and her sister-in-law Patricia was like ALWAYS Whitney was ALWAYS there for her friends and ALWAYS gonna get it done. Promising Clive Davis she be swimming and getting her voice back. Damn Right i'm a go watch Sparkle. And the Rev Winans (no idea they were an entire family) just took it over at the end #PRIORITIZE!! Yes indeed. AMEN

Got this scan of her Funeral Program via twitter via New Jersey newspaper? http://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/293830/whitney-houston-funeral-program.pdf

The letter from her Mother...

This just be hitting me. Doesn't even seem real she's gone, my fave female singer of all time. No matter what she did in her life, she was loved by her family and friends. Who are we to Judge. Only God.

So glamourous. Yeah Stevie! We all crushed on whitney. My ipod going with So Emotional, How Will I know, Where do Lonely Hearts Go. Saving All my love for you, Bodyguard Soundtrack Entire. I wanna dance with somebody, Greatest love of all, One Moment in Time, Step by Step, Fine, Million Dollar Bill, and so on. Can't even rank em:

lol they keep calling Dionne Warwick her aunt, we get it she's old but lol it's her cousin. I like her voice too :yep:

Keep smiling, KEEP SHINING. I thought I knew all her joints, Tomorrow is a Winans cover? can't wait for all the posthumous tracks to drop. Unlike MJ she didn't write her tracks but her knack for INTERPRETING music like Clive Davis said so much is far and away made her such a musical treasure.

And the official site been updated, u can drop a message via Facebook: http://remembering.whitneyhouston.com
