^ that video is so old hahah. I don't remember if I saw this on tv or if I saw it on YT as well. oh well, time to translate it for our JPHIP buds.
And yes, I totally love how this showcases just how low budgeted everything in the PI is
Ah sigh T_T Whatever, we spend our money on ballin ass resorts and shit hahaha, that's why we attract the Korean celebs and richies.
Note: Parts of the interview is in English, so I'll only translate parts that have Tagalog/Taglish in them.
STARTING AT 00:17
-Today our CIRCLE OF FRIENDS are VERY SPECIAL
-Yes, because our guests are IMPORTED FROM KOREA
-Yes, did you know that [he] has two albums? AND, it's sold almost 200,000 copies in Korea.
-AND, I can not wait to see him. Let's watch
-Alright, so let's all together discover
All: LEE JAE JIN!
STARTING AT 1:03
-He was once a member of (Sechskies) a boyband in Korea and now he's one of the hottest solo stars in his country. So what about here in the Philippines?
-Why not? He's good at rap and dancing, add on his looks- for sure he's in with our CIRCLE OF FRIENDS (-_- god, the PI still has these tacky titles).
-Let's join it with another Korean gig, Sandara Park. So, Ahnyeonahsaeyo (hello). Together with Sandy and the Power of 5, here on ASAP Fanatic Circle of Friends, let's welcome Lee Jae Jin
STARTING AT 6:07
Heart: Oh yes, here I have fanatics with questions for you
Fan: Uh, Hi JaeJin, how do you find Sandara?
Note: That boy in the jersey, giving JJ a dirty look is her boyfriend (Hero); the one that she took a bunch of pics on and Korea just found pics of the two of them. You can find this article in AKP
Host: Uh oh, there's someone getting jealous!
JJ/SD: Uhh he said that I'm cute, kind, and pretty! heeee ^____^
Host: But look at Hero, look at Hero's face. There's anger~
SD: There's anger~
So is
Ping right? Is her English actually better than her Tagalog? I would think that her Tagalog is better cuz they speak more Tagalog than English in the PI. Though it's probably about 50/50 now in the upper class places cuz there's so much Taglish T_T Then again, in the movies as well as in real life, Koreans come to the PI to learn English. But then again... that wasn't Sandara's reason for being in the PI...
