Classmates, quite a quiet and somber film, bit uplifting in the middle but those last 20 minutes are just too, too sad.

Not a huge role for Mirei but an important one, actually had the key part in the film but it was mostly through her sending e-mails, won't give away any spoilers if you haven't seen it, also Nanami was in it as Mirei's sister.

That post up about 4 or so with those assorted pics are actually some promo shots from this drama, didn't even realize she had a new one starting.

^^ From the drama's site, it's called 13-sai no Hello Work and it looks to have an interesting storyline about someone slipping back in time, starts tomorrow night at 23:15.

Kiritani Mirei to make her voice-acting debut in new Detective Conan movie

Model/actress Kiritani Mirei will be making her voice-acting debut through Detective Conan’s 16th animated film, “Meitantei Conan 11-ninme no Striker“!

Kiritani will play the voice of ‘Koda Kaoru’, a camerawoman for a sports newspaper who becomes one of Conan’s suspects. The actress, who claims that she’s been a big fan of the Detective Conan franchise ever since her elementary school days, said, “Knowing that I will be able to participate as a voice actress has made me really happy! I own the entire manga series, and I used to go watch the animated films with my family.”

Kiritani has also revealed that the recording sessions will begin in March. “Since it’s my first time to voice act for an anime, I feel nervous. My role is that of a sports news camerawoman, so I will try to remember how I usually get interviewed by them. I will do my best as a representative of Conan fans, so please look forward to it.”

“Meitantei Conan 11-ninme no Striker” is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 14th.
