Nice to see that the team is growing  , i'm studing aegisub and trying to learn how to use it, maybe in the close future i can help with the timing because i'm still in the basic level of japanese language

I didn't realize it until later, but some of the subs I released in that package are incomplete.  However, they should have some decent information contained in them.  I might go back later on and tune them up, but right now, I'm trying to get more episodes out than anything else.  I have 104, 420, 621, 638 and 681 that'll be released as soon as I get done with translating 680.  Once I check them, I'll post them up for everyone.  So basically, expect more subs next week.    If anybody else has episodes they'd like to see prioritized, let me know here.  I'm sure we'll try to work on them as soon as we can get to them.  FWIW, we do these in a random order based on who wants to work what episode.  That means later requests may get filled before earlier ones depending on time and scheduling.  It's just kinda how it works out.  Those competent at timing episodes, shoot me a PM.  I'll see if I can get you some scripts to do.

If i can suggest, maybe it's better to do subs for interactive-talk-segment-type episodes (just like 929 - 6th year Idoling!!! show, they conducted a pooling, or ami-talk), because sometimes there are interesting-conversation that i dunno.

Most of those kinds of episodes are already in queue at the moment, but I added 929 for you.  I'm going to do 928 later when I get a chance.  Loved that episode. 

Anyway, I took one of Kei's old scripts that he had lying around, finished up the translation, timed the remaining stuff and QC'd it for everyone.  Since it's a fairly old episode, I put it on Mediafire and Rapidshare for everyone to download.  Links are interchangeable.

Also, I'm going to be releasing v2s of 98, 421, 432, 439, 448, 458, 466, 467, 471, 483 and 600 since those were actually in the incomplete folder.  Newer episodes will be prioritized, but I'll work on redoing those in my spare time.

Blue_Sweater did another one of my scripts.  This one contains quite a few notes, and it was a real PITA to translate.  Hopefully it makes some sense, but not all of these translated into English as well as I would have liked.  Be sure to pay attention to the notes at the top when they occur.

One note I didn't include because it was too hard to explain quickly - During the time when Amimi is reading Serina's comment regarding Hii-chan, Serina wrote her response in an extremely polite manner that you don't hear too often.  Considering they're members from the same gen and have been together for all these years, it was very out of place. That's why they were making fun of her.  That should help you understand the joke a bit better.

  Somehow i think they still hiding something or fact about Hii-chan (SuzukiRyo, do you know about this??), considering that Serina, Nao, Yurippe & Aichan little bit "scared" of saying it. But in the fact that Ai-chan even cry when teammate with Hii-chan in previous Gekkan Idoling Episodes, and Ruka-chan mimicking an "angry" Hii-chan, I think Hii-chan have some "anger" personality backstage, instead of her cute-kawaii looks in the episodes. Umeko didn't play rough on her  Even Masuno-san in past episodes labels Hii-chan as "scary" or " 怖い". Well then sometimes Cool-calm cute girls have a lots of mysterious inside...

That episode should have not just Ai-Asahi-Yurippe-Serina, but all 2-3-4-5 generation members except Sakacchi, Amimi, and Ojima.

I'd like to take this post to thank everyone who joined in this Open Sub project thread. Although it has changed a bit from how I started it but in the end the ultimate goal is the same, bridging the language gap for those who do not understand Japanese to enjoy Idoling!!!'s core business, their TV show.

When I started this thread in 2010, I wasn't employed yet so I had tons of free time to do subs on a weekly basis but halfway through I slowly loses time to really sit down and do this and honestly it got me really worried. Now with so many people involved (Code001, DrAkky, Hatix, BlueSweater) things are looking a little brighter than it was earlier this year and of course we would definitely welcome those who would like to help. Idoling has a ridiculous amount of episodes that even if we release 1 sub per day, it'll still not be fast enough. ahahaha.

and... like I mentioned before this, nothing motivates the subbers more than people talking about the episodes we've done. Do talk about the episode we subbed in the episode discussion thread, I'm not sure about the other subbers (I'm sure they'd share the same feeling) but we do this out of our love for the group and nothing excites me (us) more than seeing everyone else enjoying the releases as much as we love the episode. It helps to keep the motivation going too

I just checked back through this thread and I made my first comment here on October 26 2011. Since then I've watched around 450 episodes of Idoling!!!

Yes, I know that's more than 1 a day. I'm seriously addicted.

There is no way any of this would have happened without this thread. It's even made me try to improve my limited Japanese to better understand the un-subbed episodes.
I'd known about Idoling!!! since about 2009 but it's easy for the casual viewer to not realize how different it is compared to other Idol shows. The subtitles change all that.

I still get excited every time a new Email arrives telling me there's been a reply to this thread, thinking it might be a new sub, so please understand how much I/We appreciate them.
