Giant Bomb's quick look is here

Watch as two grown men in their 30's squeal in delight at the sheer joy within the game.

I'm tempted to get it myself. I think it would make a cool co-op game to play with my nephew.

Kinda. GB is part of this all encompassing business called Whiskey Media which also has sites for topics other than video games like movies, comic books, anime and tech stuff. Each site has their own personalities associated with them like Tested.com has Will Smith (not the actor) and Norman Chan. And they come across much like GB's crew, informative but also totally cool and funny. Alex is now with Screened.com, along with Matt Rorie, reviewing movies. But they all share the same offices so it's real easy for some members to appear in others, most prominently Alex and Matt show up on GB because they've been professional game critics in the past and I guess it takes the workload off some of the GB crew who are undoubtedly the most popular and probably the busiest of the lot. And sometimes you see Ryan appear on Comic Vine talking about comic books, or Vinny show up on Tested for tech stuff.

After a couple of hours playing this game I've grown to hate it. Its interesting at first but there isn't a challenge, no deaths and quite slow.

If this game didn't have Kirby in it I would stayed the hell away from it.
Don't expect me to reply to any post. I tend to not care.

bu bu but.... you get to decorate Kirby's house  :nervous

But yeah, most of the reviews did mention it isn't challenging. I'm not sure if that would be a problem for me, because normally games tend to be too hard or complicated.

^Based on that video, I'm beginning to see this:

Its interesting at first but there isn't a challenge, no deaths and quite slow.

It seems super easy and really repetitive. The old Kirby on the NES wasn't that hard at all, but at least it had some difficult bosses and areas to discover.

On the other, the music and style of this game are really nice. I guess I could play it to relax a bit and take my mind of work and such.

I love this game~! It really brings out the kid in me. The cut scenes are fantastic and remind me of the story telling shows on The Children's Channel that I watched as a kid (they taught me English ^______^).

I think the game has just the right difficulty (considering its target audience?). I admit that there are stages where I haven't been able to find all treasures/get a gold stamp for jewel collecting xD; I haven't completed it yet either, but yeah. I really love it. It's so sweet and relaxing. And such a blast to play in multiplayer co-op! :D

I bought a Wii for these games:

I thought I would prefer Adventure over Yarn because it resembles the NES Kirby much closer.
I finished them both now and I can honestly say I prefer Epic Yarn. It is amazing.

The attention to detail, the little in between level animations, the special powers... just wow.
What a great game. Truly unique and original. Perfect level design and a killer soundtrack.

I confess I even enjoyed decorating the apartment
