Currently, Yuka appears in a variety of shows, including "Q-sama" on TV Asahi; "Gout Temps Nouveau" and "Shimura-Ken" on Fuji TV; "King’s Brunch" on TBS and "Yuka Ashita e Switch!" on TBS Radio. The drama is based on a novel by Tsujimura Mizuki, and is said to combine comedy and suspense. Yuka plays a wedding planner named Takako who has to deal with five weddings at the same venue on a lucky day, but on that morning, a threatening letter arrives demanding that all the ceremonies be canceled. She frantically tries to find the culprit while working to keep the wedding schedule without delay. Meanwhile, the secrets that each of the couples has been hiding come to light one by one.
NHK will broadcast “Honjitsu wa Taian Nari” on Tuesdays at 10:55pm, starting on January 10, 2012. The series will last 10 episodes.

First got into Yuuka when she was the host of the Pop Jam show from I think 2002-05, there was a site that used to sell all the old PJ shows and ordered about 50 shows worth, :shocked don't know if it's still on the air. Besides hosting she also had an interview segment each show called Backstage Jam, this was the very first PJ show I saw, got this one because hitomi was on it. :inlove:

On December 3rd, talento Yuka (31) attended a promotional event for a stationary software “Fudemame” at Akasaka Sacas Plaza on this day.
As the image character for this software, she came to this event dressed up in a New Year’s kimono stating that she was “happy” about this opportunity. Yuka also revealed that in her free time, she hand-writes all of her New Year’s cards.
She said, “I draw on the Chinese zodiac for that year with my writing brush. Writing about 20 cards is difficult so my drawing gradually get worse as well.” She continued, “This year I want to borrow the power of ‘Fudemame’ and make cute letters,” describing her enthusiastic stance for the next year.
As there is only one month left in this year, she looked back with, “It was a year where I had time to face myself.” As for her aspirations next year? Yuka revealed, “Since it would be a busy year, I want to make sure I work and keep my health up at the same time.”

Yuka to release photo book and body book simultaneously

It’s been revealed that talento Yuka will simultaneously release a photo book and body book on March 30th.
Titled ‘Yuka Gravia’, the photo book will feature Yuka’s adult charms as she shows off her body in swim wear. This will be the first time in 12 years since she’s last released photos of herself in a swimsuit.
Yuka showed confidence in the book saying, “I want to meet the expectations of the fans who have supported me all this time.”
Meanwhile, Yuka’s body book will be titled ‘Yuka Body’ and will contain the “secrets” of her successful diet. During an 8 month period, Yuka has lost 7 kg (15.4 lbs) and has trimmed 10 cm (3.9 in) off of her waist.
She commented, “While being overcome with the feeling of nostalgia, I think people will see the new Yuka.”

It’s been revealed that talent Yuuka (31) has been chosen as department store PARCO’s summer campaign model, and will be featured in their new CM that is set for broadcast on April 27th. This ad campaign will mark the first time in 12 years that Yuuka will be seen in a bikini.
This is also the first time Yuuka will be featured in a fashion ad. She’ll cast aside her signature smile to show a cool and sexy side in this endorsement. There will be two versions to the CM: Watermelon and Ice. In the Watermelon version, Yuuka will be shown in a bright pink bikini while spitting out watermelon seeds. In the Ice version, Yuka will be featured in a breezy summer dress while suggestively licking ice cream. After finishing off her ice cream, she will boldly take off her dress to show her swimwear look for this summer-themed campaign.
Regarding her first bikini CM, Yuuka stated, “Since this was a chance to work with top-notch professionals, I decided to go into the job with an intention to leave the decisions to those professionals.” Yuka also revealed that the staff complimented her during her photo shoot and stated, “I was extremely happy. It was a blessing to be a part of this work.”

Just watched 黒執事 / Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) with Ayame san and Hiro Mizushima, and featuring two other
Actresses with their own threads here- Mizuki Yamamoto and Yuuka.
Based on a manga which was set in 19th century England, the film maker changed the time and location to Asia, 2020.....
because there were lots of Japanese actors for the film....
Ayame's character wants revenge on the people responsible for murdering her parents,
so hires the devil as her butler- he will help her until she has her revenge, and then will consume her
immortal soul as payment.

火の粉 stars Yusuke Santamaria, who plays a man on trial for murdering a family,
but he is found not guilty by the judge.
Fast forward two years and Yusuke's character moves to a new neighborhood- when he meets the neighbors,
he finds himself living next door to the judge and his family, including the Judge's daughter in law,
played by Yuuka.
Final episode airs on May 28.
