I like and dislike for this episode.

I like because members are so entertain me in English lessons.

and the spicy food finale was epic, just as expected.
Nothing like seeing your fave members freaking out from spicy chicken wings.

Finally got to watch it and I was laughing all the way to the big finale. It was in a way similar to the dokkiri in Nemousu season 1 but tamer (maybe because we knew it way ahead of time).

TomoTomo should do an english project next. Between all the "I'm hot" and "seven year old" it would surely be something to behold.

Did they also claim that Kitarie was the captain of the 4? Is she even Sayaka level proficient?

That Shukan bonus dvd was kinda strange in structure, like a random collection of clips.

- 20 minutes of Yuko x Myao talk. (too long)
- Acchan 100 questions (nothing that interesting)
- Erepyon's kuragekun manga (this actually cracked me up

)
- Phone pics (

)
- EreMyao (another great bit

)
- Dokkiri: this is great because it shows the true face of some of the members

Myao is smart, she pushed the pen against the table to avoid getting shocked again. Mayu just absorbed all the energy from the pen

For the exploding camera bit, they should have showed the actual slow motion/camera footage.

- Musuda is good at basketball!
- What's up with the Hollywood ending of the match
- Is that coach the same guy who usually tells horror stories? He looks familiar.

I think the coach was that palm reader guy from AKBINGO

But I seem to remember him doing something non palm reading related on another AKB show. Maybe this one.
I guess he's branching out.

He's technically a palm reading comedian, coincidentally signed under HoriPro.

My thoughts on this week's (..kinda late since it's almost the time of week for the next Shukan

):
- Woot!! Yuka!!!

And she's good at basketball too!
- Leave it to Sayaka to be the athletic one.

- Didn't think Shimada (the comedian) would be the coach, but if he's got the skills, by all means..
- Woot!! Twin towers of Team K taking charge! Though to be honest, I expected it

- Takamina and Miichan learning from Slam Dunk

- Cheerleaders

The cheer itself was just

Though where are their cheerleading uniforms? The pom-poms? The awesome routines?

Another goooood Shukan episode. I hope they do more sports-theme shows. Basketball seems too fast paced to make it competitive for the girls. Baseball could be great!

Seems naturally funny that manga freak Takamina would have 'Slam Dunk' as her only basketball experience. And if they're gonna make a like for like comparison, NO, Takamina is NOT Sakuragi Hanamichi. Like she noted earlier Miyagi is more her mold (yes... just because of her height). The rest;

Sayaka / Akagi = captain
Yuka / Rukawa = ace player
Sae / Mitsui = MVP
Kana / Sakuragi = just because she's the rookie

I've put up the Shukan AKB Vol. 2 Extra DVD here. Kasai speaks normally! Erena does a manga segment! Yukirin shows what she has as her cellphone wallpaper! Mayuyu answers 100 questions! But sadly, no, they didn't ask if she wanted to marry a Dutch man.

Mariko x Tomomi talk segment:
[bgcolor=#131313]This was very enjoyable to watch. I didn't understand some of it, but it was really refreshing to see them talking to each other minus all the awkwardness that plagued Yuko x Myao. And Kasai doesn't do her annoying voice, which always seems too forced to me. Seems she can adult at times, too. They talk about various things, and Kasai tells Mariko about how the various uses of 'chuu' can be exercised with varying tones.[/bgcolor]

Watanabe Mayu 100Q:
[bgcolor=#131313]This didn't do much for me, but only because it put me to sleep (quite literally). I was quite surprised to discover she likes Rozen Maiden and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. She wants to go to Europe! No one ever wants to visit Asia ;_;. She likes Jpop! I want to adopt her.[/bgcolor]

I really enjoyed that bit with Sasshi, Mika, Rie, Akicha and Mocchi. Sasshi looked kinda tiny compared to them. Mikapon did great, she even talked a bit and had the funniest pic

The sports bit kinda freaked me out. Idols aren't supposed to be competitive!

The poor girl was so surprised she forgot to smile. Although it does make me wonder what my reaction would be like if it ever happened to me.
