HelloVenus’ Alice Lied about College Acceptance to Become a SingerThis scene takes place starting at around 9:00 in the vid above. So naughty! Good thing everything turned out well for her after all, though.
Alice from HelloVenus revealed a time when she burned a hole into her parents’ hearts due to her thoughtless decisions.
On October 11’s broadcast of KBS’ Happy Together, rookie singer Alice shared that she lied to her parents about getting accepted into college to become a singer.
For the late night snack shop segment of Happy Together, Alice shared her recipe for Milk Ramen, which she ate during her stay in Seoul before her debut.
“My mom was against my dream of becoming a singer, so I lied to her and said I got into college. Using the tuition money, I moved to Seoul. I stayed hidden for three months” said Alice. “When I started running out of money, I would eat ramen all the time and eventually suffered from malnutrition. So I added milk into my ramen, hoping it would make it better.”
She added that she eventually returned home after no communication for three months. “While I was gone, it was a mess in my family with the police and everything.”
Yoo Jae Suk and Park Mi Sun scolded the singer for her immature actions and told her to apologize to her parents. She apologized to her parents and eventually shed tears.
Hello Venus will be promoting the pop-dance title track "What Are You Doing Today," which was created by hitmakers Jo Youngsu and Kim Taehyun, with lyrics by Kim Ina.
The mini-album will have a total of 5 tracks and will be released on December 12th.

Hello Venus‘ Yoonjo previously hinted on her group’s comeback and now it’s been confirmed!I liked "Lipstick" and "Heaven" so hopefully this will be good too!
The lovely girls will be returning to their fans this May, and they’re leaving us curious with the release of ‘twin’ concept photos as they pair up with one another to pose in the same way with the same expression.
Hello Venus’ new title track “Do You Want Some Tea” is composed by the producing duo Iggy and Yongbae who is also behind the hit songs Orange Caramel‘s “Lipstick“, Ailee‘s “Heaven“, and more, further increasing the anticipation for the group’s new sound and concept. The song will be a pop dance track with a sampling of the classic tune “Variation on the Kanon“.
Their agency stated, “Fans will not only see the twin concept through their album jacket, but also through their performances on stage. Please anticipate the more mature Hello Venus.”
Hello Venus will make their comeback with their third mini album ‘Do You Want Some Tea’ on May 2nd!
It has been revealed that members Yoo Ara and Yoonjo will be leaving girl group Hello Venus.
Their agency Tricell Media announced through the group’s official fan cafe on July 31, “It has been decided that the Hello Venus project, which has been a cooperative effort by a merger of Fantagio and Pledis, will come to an end in order to secure the development of both parties.”
Members Yoo Ara and Yoonjo will leave the group and join Pledis, whereas Alice, Nara, Lime, and Yooyoung will continue their activities as a group under Fantagio.
According to the announcement, Yoo Ara and Yoonjo can be expected to pursue careers in acting and continue their music career through special projects. The four remaining group members will release a new album and venture into acting as well.
The reps concluded by offering their apologies and thanking the fans, “We offer our deepest apologies for delivering such unexpected news to the fans, but the rearrangement has been done to enable the development of the members. We hope you will look over the six members’ future with an understanding mind.”
