Shame that more people don't give Zune a try.

Those tiles of album art change randomly within the stuff you've added to your collection, and the shade of the background also changes colors. You can view that in full screen mode as well. After a few seconds without activity, the controls/song list drop out of view to just have the collage and album cover of the song you're currently playing, like so:

Or a compact view that kind of does a slightly different PC version of the actual Zune device playback:

^ Sinds I connected my Windows Phone 7, its installed.

I need to get used to the interface a bit more, I like the Metro interface for Media center 7, so this will work also.
BTW It displays in the same way on the phone! (except for the moving background during play)

Yeah, Windows Phone 7 will be a strong contender once it matures. It's already good straight out of the box, but hopefully they can start releasing updates for it to bring it up to par with iPhone and Android phones. Makes me wish I led a life where I actually had use for a smart phone, but I don't get out enough for that to be the case.

^ My main usage is 'info on the go' (I also have a Galaxy Tab), and the main thing I currently miss on the WP7 is the marketplace... should be available in April around here or I cave in before that and register the phone with a different account from a different region which seems to be possible.
