I have plenty of Vietnamese-speaking friends, but I feel as though it would be awkward to ask them.
Well, one of my friends knows that I like idols. I'll call her and play the audio for her.

She actually made a perfect interpretation of it. The original theme was "If I were to stay unmarried, would you make me your wife?" aimed at a childhood friend. Fonchi's version was the same except the last part translates into "...would you make me a married girl?" instead.

It wasn't the first time she's spoken in Vietnamese, but probably the longest sentence.

First encounter with Fonchi: The Idoling!!! TV show
My favorite thing(s) about Fonchi: Don't know much about her personality, but she seems to be.. genuine and caring.

A memorable performance: N/A
Moment(s) that made me laugh: (I think it was on an Idoling show; the host asked if the girls get recognized in their hometown) Anyways, Fonchi said she had to shoot a scene (for a PB I think) where she was running on the beach. A lot of fans ended up running after her.
Moment(s) that surprised me: Learning that she was Vietnamese

...Honestly I prefer her "no talk" character in 1st gen era back then..

A memorable performance: uhmm ... when she messed up with her opening line in "Kimi ga Suki"

First encounter with Fonchi: B.L.T - It took me a while to realize this when I first started to get into Idoling!!!

My favorite thing(s) about Fonchi: I sense a bit of familiarity in her since I'm half Vietnamese. lol

Her personality so unique, i like it. Also her origin (from Vietnam) which make Idoling so colorful.
Please don't go away Fonchi!!! i really really want to see you again, even after you graduate.
