I mean this year they broke a few Oricon records and just starting to expand into Asia. although i don't wanna jinx it...No, the only year they were absent from Kouhaku was their first year, 1997. It's happened before. Konno was supposed to be in Ribon no Kishi, but graduated anyway. And having a graduation in May is more convenient. A summer grad interferes with rehearsals for the musical and some of the girls might risk straining their voices from all the crying. Ai, for example, lost her voice after Kei's grad.

I still find it weird that she took her hat off AND she was looking right into the camera. Did she take off before or after the picture taking cause if she did well then thats not very smart.You have to keep in mind that in order to get these "big scoop" pictures, the stalkerazzi who take them do so in secret, without the knowledge or consent of the people in them. The stalkerazzi use very powerful zoom lenses on thier cameras, which allow them to take these types of pictures from far away where they cannot be seen. So even though that one pic has Kanna looking in the direction of the camera, it does not necessarily mean that she actually saw it or was aware of it. And even if she did see it, the stalkerazzi would have hauled ass out of there once it was clear that he/she had been caught.

Let’s see. This is what i made out of 2ch:
Married in 2000.
Since he was just starting as a comedian and didn’t do any other job, he didn’t make much money.
So his wife had to finance him and his career too. He lived in her apartment at her expenses and yet was inviting co-workers over to eat and all that.
He left her though… while she was pregnant with his child.
She gave birth to the kid alone while he had an affair with some way younger girl.
She raised the kid alone while still working.
Abe came back to her after some years. He was still unsuccessfull as a comedian and didn’t have money.
Continued having affairs.
Started getting violent.
Wife attempted suicide.
Went into recovery in the country area. Had to quit job.
Divorced since 2007.
