Poll time! Who do you think are the five most beautiful AKB48 members? The reason why I made this poll is because it's gonna be interesting to see if the results differ from the Favorite Member Poll (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=21549.0). Alright, it's time to choose the most beautiful AKB48-member!

This is actually much harder than I thought it would be...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I tried to be as objective as possible.

I tried my best to keep my favourites out of this, unless I found them to be truly beautiful (I picked 'pretty' as a close synonym, beautiful has implications). That is probably my list for the girls who look the prettiest in AKB48.
Maeda Atsuko oozes charm, and I don't think anyone would dispute this.
Masuda Yuka doesn't photograph in close focus well, but she has a nice figure, and the fact that she can wear any hairstyle and look good is a plus.
Matsubara Natsumi is a quirky one. She photographs well, but only in candid shots, but she excels in movement, and could look better than anyone else given favourable conditions.
Fujie Reina is my pick for the (inevitable) young one in the list. Very nice complexion, and overall really pretty.
Umeda Ayaka. Some might say this is ass-kissing, but I really do believe this. She's not very prominent, but she's the kind of girl that can really turn it on. She's pretty-cute.
Close followers include Nonaka Misato and Takahashi Minami, who would've made if it if one of the girls up top didn't exist.

I didn't find this hard at all. For this poll, i took in "beautiful" with the context of "womanly" in mind. So my judgement leaned towards which members are suited for such.

・Matsubara for that spunky/hot image

・Yukirin for that homely/simple girl appeal. and because oshimen
Borderliners for me would be:

・Acchan didn't make the cut mainly because she's more leaning on the cutesy side (in my opinion).
・Komori, partly for her inexperience on utilizing her 'abilities' (read: makes weird, unsettling stares and faces on camera)
・Harugon because she's also crazy lookin at times
・Takamina because she's short.
・Haruna, well, she just doesn't make it, if it were a 6 member list, she'd definitely take the spot.
The rest of whom that aren't in my lists, just have one or two glaring "unique" things about them which ruins it.

I honestly don't know who I think is the prettiest. A lot of it depends on my mood. XD Even though these three are in my Top 5, I really do think they're the most beautiful. I wasn't sure who to put after them, so I may change my vote later on.
And I'm happy to see Natsumi getting some votes! =D

Tomomi Itano: The most beautiful idol since Rika Ishikawa. And coming from me, that's the biggest compliment an idol can get.
Atsuko Maeda: The ultimate girl next door. Acchan is ridiculously pretty & beautiful.
Ayaka Umeda: Without a doubt the most underrated AKBeauty. Ayaka's blog pictures are more beautiful and most girls' magazine pictures.
Rie Kitahara: Full lips & epic hair = awesome combo.
Sayaka Akimoto: Let's put it this way: the other members I voted for are girls but Sayaka is a woman.

For me the list would have to be the old 'would go gay for' thing :P But even with guys I'm more personality attracted than looks so this is a little tougher for me since we're just looking at aesthetic beauty. Sooooo....
Mariya Suzuki - This girl is utterly GORGEOUS imo.
Erena Ono - I would honestly say she is beautiful, I love looking through her cards and PB
Haruka Katayama - even with her big nose she's gorgeous :P
Maeda Atsuko - She so pretty *__*
Yuki Kashiwagi - I can't really explain her beauty, but it has really come out over the past year
Rie is a close runner-up.

- Akimoto Sayaka - I don't think Sayaka actually exists. "She" is a clever ploy by Aki-P and the Japanese goverment to test out androids.
- Maeda Atsuko - Because she's one of the most ridiculous women to ever exist.
- Miyazawa Sae - Sae is magical.
- Takahashi Minami - Takamina is a straight up knockout. There's no way around this.

My idea of beauty would be their charm through a camera lens. In this case positive girls with a great smile get huge points from me.

Ami Maeda - Totally fits the bill. Although she isn't in the spotlight, I think she could be another Maeda (oh wait, she is XD) in a year if she was treated the same.
Ayaka Kikuchi - I find she has a lot of good shots, as long as she has a nice hairstyle.
Aki Takajyo - Sunny and sporty look. Akicha is honestly the type of girl I'd fall for most easily in AKB.
Rino Sashihara - I wonder if Sasshi knows how suprisingly photogenic she is.
Yuki Kashiwagi - Huge battle for 5th. One moment it was Nacchan vs Ohta~ Then Shinoda vs Men-dol Miichan! Finally after 3 hours of deciding, it went back to Yukirin. :heart: I might be the only person on the planet that actually doesn't like a lot of the photoshoots of her in swimsuit. But Yukirin's girl next door image, natural aura and great smile is like a super uppercut 3-hit-combo of pure beauty. :inlove:

1. Sato Sumire- Kind of on the cute end of the scale, but her features are pretty much ideal for me. I watched the Chance no Junban PV going "how can anyone be that good looking?"

Akimoto Sayaka - Strong, exotic looks. She's easy to tell apart from the other members because she looks so unique.
Kikuchi Ayaka - Oh man her smile is fantastic. Always draws my attention when she's performing.
Kuramochi Asuka - Very feminine, both face and body. Another one with amazing smile. Also, her hair is epic.
Matsui Sakiko - The eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, perfect skin, tall and slender body... I don't sound biased at all. :lol: I especially like her mouth and eyes, they always make me think of a cat.
Nonaka Misato - If I was only allowed to pick one girl for this poll, it would be Micha. Tall, nice curves, stunning smile - all around perfect girl.

Kashiwagi Yuki - I like her, very princess-like and she's really good looking, especially in dark colored clothes, she's my oshi too! :heart: And, she looks so perfect, whether she's smiling or not (just looking badass like Black). :cathappy:
Kojima Haruna - She was the first member I liked to be honest, I first saw her in Mendol and I instantly loved her, especially in No Sleeve's PV for Relax! :)

Kasai Tomomi - She has this really cute expression that someone also edges to sexiness, I mean even though she has a cute expression on, it still somehow turns sexy, hahaha, its weird but I like Chiyu for that, and she's really beautiful too. Her pout is the cutest! :heart:
Itano Tomomi - I frankly loved Tomochin for all of her covers in her albums, and she looks so adorable with her pouty lips, even when she's frowning or looking upset (like Shibuya for example) she just gets away with it with being beautiful! :lol:

Kitahara Rie - She would be my ideal girl, she's probably one of the most beautiful girls in AKB in my opinion.
Kuramochi Asuka - She's a very traditional type of beauty to me. You can probably tell I just really like girls with black hair xD

For me, it's my oshi, Maeda Atsuko. Though, there's plenty of attractive girls in AKB48. I like it when they can pull off different looks. Some other notable members I'd consider are Mayu, Yukirin, Kasai, Akimoto Sayaka, Itano, Oshima Yuko, and Kojima Haruna.

For me, there's a huge difference between "beautiful" and "cute," so I'm going to follow exactly as the title
says. That means no Yukirin, Tomo~mi, etc. for me :nervous
In no particular order:
Itano Tomomi
- Tomochin definitely has an aura around her that she didn't have before in her early days. She's noticeably matured, and I like how if she's
uncomfortable or displeased, she shows it, no joke! I really liked her performance in MG1+2, and she perfectly fits the role for Uza as
well. She can easily switch to the cutesy look as well!
Masuda Yuka
- Yuka definitely should win the Smile of the Year award(Kasai too xD)! I can't quite point out what intrigues me about her; I'm really liking the
brown hair—I can't say that enough, LoL. Maybe, it's her extremely protruding lower eyelids(does that have a name?). Can't talk about Yuka
without mentioning her amazing voice, and her face aways portrays emotions extremely well, if that makes sense. :nervous
Takajo Aki
- I'm kind of contradicting the condition that I set earlier, but I feel that Akicha has definitely transitioned in a very similar way as
Tomochin, and, so as to not repeat, I'll let the pictures do all the talking:

- She got a lot of criticism early on(and now, still) for having a "plain face," but I think this was just because she didn't look as "cute" as other
members. I'm glad that she's getting more and more of the recognition she deserves; she looked amazing in Kodoku na Hoshizora, and
it really brought out her true beauty(sounds cheesy, I know). XD

- Yes, she's short, but does not have the cute character; her personality contradicts it, and this is what makes me vote for her. Her whole
persona and looks just brim with confidence, as is expected from the leader of AKB48! She can pull off some really epic photos at any
