I'm buying some stuff from a friend in Japan, and I think she doesn't have a Paypal account (I have one though).
How will I be able to pay her? Does she need her own account, or what? Isn't it that I send the money to her e-mail and she can pick it up somewhere?
Also, she noticed that she can't get the money she currently has on there out? How to do this?
Speedy answers would be great, since I'd like to pay her soon. Thanks!

She needs a PP account also. She then can tranfer is from PP to her bank acount... BUT there is a fee to transfer it to the bank..

To avoid that I just leave the money in paypal and use it to buy other stuff off ebay.

Found this on the PP site when i was looking for a awnser of my own:
Can I send money to someone who doesn't have a PayPal account?
Yes! When you send money to someone who does not have a PayPal account, the recipient receives an email notification of your payment. After clicking on the link included in the email, the recipient can sign up for a new account, and the money will immediately appear in his account balance. Note: PayPal members must confirm their email address before the money will be credited to their PayPal account.

Thanks for all the help, guys!!
I really appreciate it.

Be careful though - Paypal doesn't have services in all countries, so you recipient might not be able to transfer her Paypal funds into her bank/credit-card account.
