Jurina's PovIt's already been a day since I found out where Rena-chan worked.
I was wondering around the mansion, as I usually would when bored, when a fluffy ball of black and white dashed in front of me, and not a second later, my raven flew past chasing the rabbit.
"Ah, Jurina." I heard my name, and as I glanced up I saw Mayu, smiling at me, both our companions on her. Her rabbit wrapped in her arms, and my raven perched on her shoulder, rubbing his beak against her cheek.
"Hey Mayuyu." I greeted her. "You know you're spoiling him right?" I added, only to get a squawk in protest. Mayu simply giggled.
"Are you busy right now?" She asked.
"Mm, not really. I'm pretty bored. Why?" I shrugged.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me, n-not as a date though!" She said, a blush on her face.
"You're too cute, Mayu. I'll come with you, but you're paying for lunch." I smiled, walking past her.
"Eh! No way pay for your own lunch!" I heard her whine.
"Come get me when you're ready to go on our date." I said over my shoulder, enjoying the extra shade of red she turned.
"You know, normal females go clothes shopping." I started, as we were in our forth manga shop of the afternoon, and I was stuck being the 'guy' and holding all the bags.
"We're not normal." She grinned, looking up from one of the mangas she was thinking of buying. "Hmm, I already have this copy." She muttered to herself, Instead of waiting beside her, I started wondering the store.
Warning: H-ZoneH-Zone? What the hell is that?
I wondered past the warning, and to my surprise, there was...was..porn everywhere!
"Jurina! What're doing over here?" I heard Mayu from behind me.
"N-nothing!" I stuttered, trying to get the book titles and images out of my head.
"If you wanted to look at Hentai, you should of told me." She said so casually
Too casually.
"Why do you know what's back here?" I asked, fearing the worst.
She didn't answer me, but her eyes gave away everything.
"My sister is a pervert." I muttered, before being slapped on my arm.
"Shush, now wait here while I buy these. Then we can get some lunch." Mayu ordered, before joining the line.
I began looking at the non-manga novels in the store, and one book stuck out, it had the words
'Twilight' on the spine, it was really thick too. Putting down one of the bags I had, I reached out for it.
'American Lit?' I thought to myself, flicking through it, and stopping on one page.
I noticed how one page was about some girl, Bella was talking about a...Vampire sparking?
What?
I could feel my eye twitch as I read the whole page.
"Vampires don't sparkle." I huffed, putting the book away, I felt offended beyond belief.
"Did you say something?" Mayu asked, approaching me, with another bag for me to hold.
"No, it's just that book is stupid. Vamps don't sparkle." I huffed once again.
"Oh, that book is a joke to Vampires everywhere." Mayu agreed, her face scrunching up cutely. "Let's go eat shall we?" She changed the subject, latching onto my arm, as we exited the store.
I simply nodded, allowing her to pull me where she pleased.

Rena's PovI realized earlier this morning that I was running low on supplies at the flat, and decided to do some shopping. I managed to get some great deals, I felt quite proud of myself.
As I wondered around, I noticed someone familiar.
'Jurina?'
I was about to call out to her, but then another female latched onto her arm, and they began walking away, both of them laughing and smiling.
They looked like a couple.
Why does my heart hurt? I barely know her, but seeing her with someone else.
Hurts.
Not a moment later, my head started to hurt, maybe I've been out for too long.
Turning around, I began my walk back home, with the intentions of taking a nap before dinner. I haven't been getting as much sleep as I'd like too.
That night..."Rena-chan~!"
"_____-chan!"
"C'mon!" I ran up and followed her to the hill top we always play at.
This was our secret place. A place where we can meet, where nothing and no one can stop us. This was our home.
"Hurry up, Rena-chan!"
"Haa... I'm coming!"
Once I got to the top, she was already waiting under the tree. The sunset was beautiful, it was something I've never seen in my whole life.
"Wow..."
_____ giggled and sat down, picking some of the daisies. When I looked back at her, I saw she was making a beautiful tiara. She got back up and placed it on my head.
"Here you are..." She adjusted it and gently kissed my forehead. "My princess..."
I was blushing madly, turning away from her.
"I-I don't know... what to say."
"Well, I have one more present."
She reached inside her pocket and pulled out something that made a rush of pure happiness run through my body.
"Me... MELON PAN!!!!!!!!" I hugged her around the neck and cuddled against her cheek. "Thank you~!!!"
"Hahaha, you're welcome, Rena-chan."
My eyes slowly opened as I woke up. I blinked a few times, feeling something weird in my mouth. I looked down and saw I was eating my pillow.
"Eh?" I took it out and slowly got up, wiping the drool off my mouth. "What...? Why was I...?" I simply shook my head.

Jurina's Pov"Thanks for the day out, Jurina." Mayu hummed happily, as we were driven home by our driver, as we were pulling up to the steps of the house, a figure was standing outside.
Nee-chan.Instantly the happy mood Mayu and I were in shattered, as we saw the frown on her face, arms crossed over her chest, eyes narrowed.
"You two have been out ALL day, and you didn't even bother to tell me you were going out!?!" Sae yelled, not even giving us to say anything.
"But you were busy." Mayu said, you could hear the sadness in her voice, she never liked being yelled at.
"That's not an excuse to not leave a not or anything." Nee-chan sighed, pinching her nose in irritation. "Go to your room, Mayu."
Mayu's eyes widened, but she refused to say anything else, and followed her instructions.
As soon as Mayu was out of ear shot, I felt the tense atmosphere around us. I felt that breathing was pushing it right now.
"You really are pushing it, Kid." Sae said, not even bothering to say my name.
"How am I pushing it? Mayu is lonely and if you won't give her attention I will!" I yelled, fed up with being treated like everything is my fault.
I felt her first collide with my fist, causing me to fly off the stairs. "You ungrateful brat! Who do you think you are raising your voice at me? My father died protecting you! The only reason you were even adopted under our name was because it was his final wish! If it were me, I would of let your family kill you!" She spat at me, before swiftly turning away, slamming the front door.
I sat there, the words she said ringing through my ears.
I could feel my face throbbing, most likely bruising as well.
I don't get it.
Why is loving a human such a big deal.
Releasing a sigh, I got up, and entered the home, and went straight to my room, locking the door behind me. I noticed my amulet flashing, picking it up, an onslaught of Rena's dreams hit me at full force.
'She's starting to remember. The book wasn't lying.' A smile made it's way onto my face, but I winced, as the painful reminder of what happened moments ago started to throb once again.
'Does she really hate me?' I fell back onto my bed, holding the amulet to my heart, I was close to falling asleep, but there was a sudden knock on my door.
Getting up and unlocking the door, Mayu and her furry companion entered my room, glancing around outside, I then closed the door.
"Did Onee-chan do that? She asked, once she noticed my bruised cheek.
I didn't answer her.
I didn't have too.
"Does Nee-chan hate me?" I asked her instead.
I could feel Mayu wrap her arms around me, this time she was comforting me, her hands running through my hair.
"No. She must of really been worried about us. That's all, you know Onee-chan loves us. She's just going through a lot of stuff right now."
I nodded.
"Now, come on, let's get ready for dinner."
