It's just an article in a section of the Mainichi newspaper called "My School and I", that has different artists talking about how school inspired them.
In this article, Takahashi talks about how she was inspired to dance by a classmate who was in ballet, and how she discovered MM thanks to a teacher that had a CD hidden in his/her (not sure) desk. Then she talks about what she wanted to study (musical theory, entering the Takarazuka) and how little by little MM was becoming more and more something she wanted to be part of.
There is a part of this article that I really like, in the ending: she says that "this year, MM celebrates 10 years since its formation. Two new members from China have joined, and a new time has come. I'm very fortunate and happy to be leader in this memorable year. If we take into account public events and some 70 concerts combined, we will have more than 100 public performances this year. It can be exhausting but even when I'm tired I want to sing from the bottom of my heart to please our audiences".
I don't know you, but to me that's a leader.
By the way, it is not a "literal" translation, please correct me if I got something wrong (as you know, I'm still learning).
