One Man's Wilderness by Sam Keith. It's a journal written by some dude who decided to live in the wilderness alone. It's pretty good if you're into surviving in the wild type stories. It's a true story too.

Les Croisades (Crusades) by Régine Pernoud

Well, it's a book about Crusades. I haven't read much yet. The book is written in 1965, so it's interesting to see if there's any differences how some things are depicted then and now.

1) Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom
2) Cory Doctorow
3) A novel in which the setting is in the future. The economic system doesn't use money anymore, but "whuffie" which is somewhat like reknown. Do a great thing and people will give you whuffie. Do a bad thing, your whuffie will decrease. Cryonics, mind upload, and the like is commonplace in this era. The social consequence of all the advances are explored trough the eyes of the main character.

I believe it is the first novel licensed under Creative Commons. That means you can copy/print the book legally. Try to google it :)

1. Faerie Tale
2. Raymond Feist
3. Family moves to a quiet New York town and all is not as it seems... Lots of legends coming to life (hence the name of the book), that kinda thing. Just remembered it after reading the ghost story thread in SomethingAwful. Feist writes fantasy usually, and this book is the closest to non-fantasy that I've read.

Well... before school started, I had just started Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami.  Now that I think of it, I still haven't finished The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams.  I swear I never get time to read for pleasure any more... :(
