if not, these guys can be sued for pirating!

This makes me really mad. I just don't understand why someone would even sell it with ridiculous price tags specially when only Yoona's set was the only one that could be considered 'rare'.

It's not that I'm trying to defend the guy who is selling those but what exactly is he pirating? It wasn't a picture from a movie or anything similar but from a (live) concert.

because it is a paid (live)concert, SME owns full rights and they will probably produce a concert DVD/BD later.
that's the main reason why we don't see HQ fancam from Japan tour, yet.

as a SONE, I would love to share whatever SNSD's stuff I have. but selling the girls' stuff for a profit?

those fansite like flying petals, only sell their video/photo taken from public appearance, and they do consistently giving us HQ pics and vids without asking for anything.

Why would Yoona's set be the only rare one?

I've been seeing concert pics up for auction since my MoMusu days. I always thought the photog must be a pres or something and sell the pics he didn't use online.

And if I understand correctly, those fancams and pics from Korean events aren't really legal either. I think there was some law that came out a few years ago that made all fansites go crazy and hide their media sections.

From what I know, it will only be considered as piracy if the picture was taken from a merchandise that is owned by a company (in this case, SME). The only thing that SME owns is the right to broadcast the concert.

SME owns all rights to SNSD's appearance in the concert, obviously it include still pictures also...
do you think anyone can bring a camera to the concert and take picture without the security approaching them?
