Yasushi Akimoto's 'Dimension-Crossing' Idol Group's Name, Visual Revealed

Sony Music Records and Aniplex announced the group name for the new idol group that AKB48 founder and producer Yasushi Akimoto will produce. The group is named 22/7 (Nanabun no Nijūni), which is a fraction approximating the number pi. Akimoto explained that the group's name is a symbol of imagination with a meaning that lies in the future.

The website also revealed a new key visual drawn by Yukiko Horiguchi, who handles the design for the project's character Miu Takigawa.
