~ All of her lyrics were wrote by 柳美里 (Yuu Miri (http://www.yu-miri.net/)) until the upcoming single BORN, which is apparently penned by Miwako herself. Yuu Miri is a famous Japanese writer of Korean heritage, her debut novel is currently banned in Japanese libraries due to lawsuit of privacy disturbance by one of the women protrayed in the book. It is uncertain if their work together is over. Also, Le Chevalier D`Eon (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4396) anime which BORN is tie-up to seems rather interesting XD http://www.chevalier.tv/ (http://www.chevalier.tv/)
~ Miwako's debut single "Shizuku" was ending theme to anime "Great Teacher Onizuka" but she was dropped by Sony, and later picked up by BMG.
~ Okuda keeps a blog (http://cgi.bmgjapan.com/okudamiwako/diary.php) at her official site, with photos of the daily life objects (flowers, food, etc) but she also writes a lot.
~ Miwako's face didn't appear in her first 2 promotional videos for BMG.

I dedicate my 900th post to Okuwa Miwako, the J-pop artist with the most mournful lyrics out there, and Kyle Bouvier. Rest in peace, marimari.

first time i heard her was from Shizuku from GTO anime, think she have a great voice.
