Wow, as if we don't have a Younha thread yet! Anyway, as you guys and gals may have seen in the "Last thing you bought" thread, I just got myself a copy of the debut album of this 17 year old Korean crossover sensation. And well, I like to share things, so here it is in 320 kbps! Some of the tracks look like they came up small, but I tried ripping it three times, and I don't know what may have happened. Anyways, scans of the booklet will be coming soon!
And make fresh links for those not as fortunate to see this post within a week!

its awesome how she can play the piano like she can. I still love Houki Boushi the best, but here other songs are amazing as well. I wish i can play the piano like her... does any one know how long she's been playing?

Seeing how well she plays and how young she is... I'm thinking she has played piano since she was a little kid. 10 years old at most.

I've only heard "Touch" and the "Te wo Tsunaide" single, but I really like them. I have to dig for it, but I have a Music Fighter ep where she plays the Marion Bros song on piano, and I'm pretty sure a perf in on there too.

Is Younha active at all anymore? I remember she released some Korean songs, and then just disappeared. Sucks, she was awesome.

She was pretty active in Korea til like early 2008.
She seemed to have done some stuff in Japan til early May, probably to promote her best of album. But she hasn't updated her japanese blog since then.
She's also been doing some stuff in Korea for the past couple months until recently. She seems to be doing a couple things this weekend in Korea, but her Korean schedule seems to be pretty clear. Maybe she's working on a new album or something.
I kinda doubt she'll be doing much in Japan anymore since her career seems to have been going downhill there. And the best of album seems to be an attempt to milk her remaining Japanese fans of money.

You guys heard the new Korean album? its really good, much like her first korean album lol. I feel her korean works are better than her japanese, actually (not saying i dont love her japanese work XD)

I heard the Korean album, and loved it so much I bought it immediately(Korean music is cheap!), but it looks like it's been lost in the mail. Terrific! :angry:

Her korean albums are indeed great and her vocals have improved a lot. I first got into her when she debuted in Japan but now I don't mind if she ditches Japan and just focus on Korea instead.
And she's getting hawter day by day.

I dig all the collabs she's done over the last little bit. Epik High, and AJOO among others, but her haircut in Telepathy makes her look like a boy! I <3333333 Younha, but man, her hair is shorter than mine! Ah, not that there's anything wrong with that, haha. Younha hwaiting~!

I discovered Younha a few hours ago, and already I'm in love. I've listened to a few songs on Youtube. So far, I'm loving "Delete" very much. I must buy her CDs.<3

I know Younha debuted in Japan first, so her thread in Official J-Artists is warranted, but I don't know, it's always a tough call for these kinds of artists.
Here's her latest from Korea. I was really interested in it, so I've been hotly anticipating it's release. It's a must-buy for anyone with some interest in Younha.

Younha to release 2nd full-length Japan album next month

'Oricon comet' Younha's second Japanese studio album will be out next month, her first full-length release in five years.
The 22-year-old singer's agency Lion media said on Wednesday that "ひとつ空の下 (Hitotsu Soranoshita)", translated into 'under a single sky,' will go on sale in Japan on September 22 and in Korea a week later.
The new album will contain a total of 12 songs including eight new tracks and four existing singles while a limited number of DVDs will contain five music videos.
Of the songs in the upcoming record, "ソラトモ ～空を見上げて (Soratomo Soraomiagete)," meaning 'look up into the sky,' has been picked as a supporting song for Weathernews Inc., the world's largest private weather service company in the world based in Japan.

Younha to hold concerts in Korea in Oct and Nov

Korean songstress Younha will be holding four concerts in Korea next month and November.
According to the official website of Lion Media, the 22-year-old singer's agency, Younha will kick off her series of concerts titled "TIME 2 ROCK" in Seoul starting with two shows in Seoul at the AX-Korea located in Gwangjang-dong on October 30 and 31.
She will then head off to the city of Daegu for her show to be held at the Grand Hall of the Chunma Arts Center on November 13 and visit Busan the following weekend for her last concert at the KBS Hall.
Younha made her debut at the young age of 16 in 2004 in Japan where she earned the nickname 'Oricon comet' after becoming the second Korean artist after BoA to break into the top 20 spots of the prestigious Oricon chart.
The singer-songwriter has dominated local music charts as well with her hit songs "Password 486," "Comet" and "Telepathy."

She is a bit underrated in my opinion, her voice is just as good as IU's or TaeYeon's but her fame isn't as huge. Some friends told me she had more success in Japan than in Korea. I think the Koreans are more crazy about cute young girls.
