It was recently announced that former AKB48 member, and actress Maeda Atsuko will appear in the new CM for Marumiya’s “Mabo Tofu no Moto.” Maeda will become a daughter of Miyake Yuji who has been starring in the CM for the product for more than 20 years.The story for the CM creates a a homely atmosphere as the father (Miyake) giving his daughter (Maeda) who’s eating the Mabo Tofu, a fond look while recollecting the daughter’s childhood. In the scene where the father recollecting the daughter, Maeda’s two photos (when she was 1, and 13) will be shown.There will be two CMs “Chiisai Koro no Shashin (photos from childhood)” version and “Watashi, Tsukurimasu (I, will make it)” version in which Maeda cooks Mabo Tofu using the product. Both CMs will begin airing on March 18.

I’ve been watching Pokemon movies since I was little, so I can’t believe that my voice will be entering the Pokemon world! I am very happy!” She also expressed, “I will do my best so that children who watch the movie will say, ‘Pokemon is cute,’ and also so they will think that the world of Pokemon looks fun.”In ‘Shinsoku no Genosect: Mewtwo Kakusei’, Takashima Reiko will be in charge of the voice of Mewtwo. Yamadera Koichi, who has been the guest voice actor since the first Pokemon movie, will make his 16th consecutive appearance as the voice of the red Genosect. Nakagawa Shoko will also make her 7th consecutive appearance as the voice of Ninfia, and Heisei Nobushi Kobushi will also voice in the film.
