Hooray, I got the achievement to get all 4 survivors with a single acid patch yesterday! Something that sounds so simple yet really hard to achieve

I really like the Mutation modes! Wish there was a way for them to be kept after they're done. Having a Versus game where everyone on the infected team are tanks is just hilarious. This 'Lone Gunman' one is a neat idea too. It's a single player mode where you're the only survivor and the only weapon you have is the Desert Eagle. And to add to that, the only special infected you will encounter are Boomers.

Still working on trying to beat a game on Expert. Haven't even done it with Realism on Normal.

I cleared my first L4D2 campaign on Expert yesterday! It was Dark Carnival. Never underestimate the power of a speed run lol

Playing a lot more Versus games lately too. Some good times when playing as infected. They're not usually as good as this though:

Why am I always paired with such fucking idiots lately? Tried an Expert run of Dead Centre and couldn't get past the 2nd stage after some horrible, horrible decisions from the other players. Who on earth would pass up a pipe bomb that's right in front of them? Who on earth would attempt to run past the zombies at the beginning of the stage, when they're everywhere? Multiple times! Who on earth would chainsaw a witch?! WHO ON EARTH WOULD OPEN UP THE STORE DOOR AND GET THE COLA WHEN WE'RE TRYING TO KILL A FUCKING TANK?!.

Have to laugh at the stupidity but it is getting annoying lately. I expect to die and repeat quite a number of times on Expert, but I can't forgive stupid decisions like that.

You don't. That's because I play L4D2 on 360. My laptop doesn't have a dedicated graphics card so I can't play games on it. I wanna play with the hipsters though

shirenu, Stryfe, and myself were running some Survival earlier, and got in a bit of campaign action. Survival was.. the opposite of what we achieved. We did mighty fine on the ~~(easy)~~ campaigns though

Anyone ever cleared any of the campaigns on Realism Expert? Seems extreme but I'm determined to get it! Problem is there's hardly anyone on the 360 to find a game and play with, let alone good players.

I laughed for a good while after that

(Rootop Finale on No Mercy) Everything went peachy until the chopper came. I had been dicking around with the grenade launcher and dual handguns. Unfortunately, all three of them became incapacitated at once. So instead of trying to fight off all the zombies and tanks, find a proper gun, attempt a rescue for all three of them, I just let them all die, to be fair.

On a related note, I've been fucking around with L4D mapping. It's quite a bit more work than for TF2, mostly because of the nav meshes

I do have a crappy WIP though, that is actually playable to an extent. Meaning for it to be some survival junk later on

Finally found a lobby on Expert with good players, the ones that communicate what's happening and what to expect from Hard Rain on Expert and you know what? We couldn't even make it past the 2nd level. Seriously, a good hour was spent trying to get through that Sugar Mill without alerting a witch or have a horde on us every 10 ft and that's before you even call the elevator.
