I usually do these puzzles in Japanese newspapers..

I've tried playing these a couple of times, but I still don't really understand it. http://www.conceptispuzzles.com has some more too. I mostly play Hashi, Battleships, Fill-a-pix.

With Slitherlink, you basically need to make 1 single looped line go past all the numbers..
A number has 4 sides, so the number "2" needs to have two sides filled etc..

I worked on some of these in a Sudoku book I picked up in Sweden. Pretty fun, though sometimes rage-inducing
