I don't remember how, but Pony Canyon is somehow linked to UFA. Nevermind it. PC pimped Buono! gorgeously, getting them on TV shows very quick, doing events, and producing a PV that kicked ass. This duo is better in hands of PC, Amen.
Something else that occurs to me is that, maybe, Maimi will make an eventual solo debut on Pony Canyon.

I just noticed HKCN is a hachama code... but the page lists PC is the label. Either it is a mistake or a collaboration. If it's a collaboration, it can only mean one of the two is in PC, and since Nacchi is not, this might hint Maimi's debut in PC sometime in the future.

but guess what, i found that the smile of Yajima Maimi and Natsumi Abe are quite similar so you can tell they are "smile sisters" but the °c-ute one is like two Nacchi´s (in size)

I didn't say she wasn't a good singer, etc. and that to attract the wota was the ONLY reason.

Pony Canyon will have some involvement in distribution, but the label turns out to be hachama, Nacchi's usual label.

There are two choices:
- 「16歳の恋なんて」 ("16sai no Koi Nante")
- 「私の恋人なのに」 ("Watashi no Koibito na no ni")
Both songs are written and composed by KAN.
Trial listening and the poll start on 28 November and last until 5 December. But it looks like it will only be available through Japanese mobile phone sites. :angry:

It seems this collaboration is full of surprises! I can't wait to hear the previews, as much as I can't wait the sales reception of this release! Very, very refreshing and interesting. I wonder what kind of composition has KAN made for this two.

anyway, just hope that both will be as duos and not a duel (sort of) with two solist in one cd wich is not bad but i like more the idea of the duo ^^

Wow. Entirely different to what I was expecting, but their voices work together fantastically <3 Neither song is really 'great' though, which is kinda sad. Two such big H!P names together, I was hoping for something a little better. Ah well.

Hmmm. I don't know what to think. The background sounds in both songs remind me of the stock sounds you'd get in one of those electric keyboards.
Their voices compliment each other well really good though, which I'm really pleased with. I dont think I'll mind which one gets the A-side.

Well, my vote would go for Watashi no Koibito na noni.
I can't say I LOVE any of them but they are nice songs. The voices fit better together then I thought.

I have to agree that their voices do blend well. Nacchi's voice has always given me a relaxing feeling while Maimi's has some sort of high adrenaline effect. It's kind of refreshing hearing more of Maimi's voice in a song, not that she doesn't get enough lines in C-ute's singles, but hearing her sing a whole stanza(not from Natsu Doki Lipstick) shows how flexible her voice can be.
It's really hard to decide which is better but I will go with 16sai for the A-side too. But PV-wise, Koibito na Noni seems to have more potential. I don't know but when I first listened to it, the first outfit that came in mind was Berryz's costumes from their latest single :lol:

I like them both, but I prefer 16sai no Koi Nante, it'd have an interesting PV. The other song sounds too slow and a bit too Xmas-y for my taste :3;;
I guess they'll see which song wins, so it'll make it for the a-side, and the song who loses = the b-side. If that's the case, then I hope 16sai wins.

If the votation is closed with almost a tie, they could simply make a double a-side, and put all the winner names (all who has voted) into the credits, no one would mind. I guess this is just for not being guily if people doesn't like the a-side. Not wotas, they'd buy the CD only with a cover and no songs just for the love of the girls.

in general both songs are equal, i like them but of course the arrangements need to improve but that´s ok since the samples are just like demos or something like that.
Oh and 16sai no Koi Nante fit more as an A-side for me... but for my experience i can tell that maybe it end as the B-side xDDDD

I just went through the Nacchi and Maimi article in Kindai (dear lord I have to study more kanji). Nothing really new in it, sadly. Point form:
★ Nacchi couldn't learn all the kids names when they first joined (haha, me too)
☆ She admires them for going through all of this while they're still so young
★ Maimi wants to be like Nacchi when she gets older, and she gives great advice apparently
☆ Nacchi talks about how the first gen members just had to learn things as they happened, there was no one to give them advice
★ Nacchi wants to do a live, acoustic tour next year
☆ Maimi wants to keep learning and become a better singer
★ Maimi really likes the new song for their unit
☆ Nacchi feels a bit too old for it (ROFL) but can understand it and had fun

I think that line should be "Mizugi ni oyogi ni tsuretette" (Take me swimming in a swimsuit).
Obasan literally means aunt but it can also be used to refer to a middle-aged woman.

Well it was on my iPod on the way to and back from work, I have to say I really like it now. It grows on me more with every listen. Still, I'm a little surprised they're not promoting it more.

I feel exactly the same!
And the PV is really cute and it's something we've never really seen before (I know it's just waiting in a line, but hey... at least it's different). Plus, Maimi looks SO mature and it's good to see Nacchi doing something a little cutesy again.

Some people were wondering about the line "Otona ni nattara wakaru deshou / Yume o tabete wa ikite ikenai" on this board and other boards. Basically, "Yume o tabete wa ikite ikenai" is the same thing as saying "You can't live on dreams alone." It is just an expression. I also wondered a bit about that phrase before asking a native speaker friend what it meant, and that's what she told me.
