PART 1
Lately, my days become more tough than usual. Why? Because my wedding will be held on next month. I took a card from my desk. Congratulation, Tomoki Kurosaki & Watanabe Mayu.
I smiled. I love Tomo-tan so much, we’re already dated for 6 years now. 6 months ago.. when he asked me to marry him, I felt like flying to the heaven. I’m so happy!
I put my wedding invitation card on my desk again. I took a note book from my bag and checking my list:

Ugh! How stupid I am. Why I forgot to order the flowers?! I saw my watch, 8 PM? Is there any flower shop that still open?
I went out, I ride a taxi. I’m too lazy to drive my own car right now. I saw a shop, their lights still on, I ask a driver to stop. After I paid the bill, I entered that shop.
I ask the florist. Pity me, that shop is going to closed. I didn’t read a CLOSED sign hanging at their door.
I walk around here for some minutes, looking for another flower shop.
Ahh… maybe I’m just too excited about the wedding. I will looking for it, tomorrow.
I wait a taxi for about a half hour, but there’s no taxi around. I saw a traffic light, it’s about hundreds meters from where I stand right now. I will go there, I think it will be easier to get a taxi there.
But in the midway, RAIN?! I’m looking for a place to stop. I found it, but there’s no place to sit. So, I will just standing and wait here until the rain stopped.
Great!! It’s already 11 PM and the rain isn’t stopped yet!! I forgot to bring my phone too!! How can I go home?!
Suddenly… “Akkkkkhhhh!!!!!” Lightning!!! I hate lightning! “KYAAAAAA!!!” The lightning sound keep repeating. It’s freaking me out. I close my eyes. I’m crying…. alone.
I heard the door behind me opened. I felt someone grabbed my hand. She dragged me inside, then she close the door.
After I completely went in. I open my eyes slowly. ”Th-thank you.” I only can see her silhouette.
"Why are you keep screaming out there?? I thought someone is kidnapped or something. You woke me up."
"So-sorry… I’m afraid of lightning. Ca… can I wait here until the rain stopped? I promise, I will leave soon if it stopped." I bow to her. "Please."
She laughed, “You’re afraid of lightning but you’re not afraid of a stranger who force you to entering her place?”
She’s right. Why am I even begging to her?
She turn on the lights. She turned and look at me. ”Okay then.. I will accompany you.” She smiled.
Wow…. This girl looks so………. gorgeous.
"Oh, wait a minute." She walk away. She come to me again, "Wear this." She gave me a clothes.
"No, thanks. I will just sit here and wait."
"But.. look at you, you’re drenched. If you keep wearing that, you’ll sick." She grabbed my hand, then she dragged me into another room. We stopped in front of a door. "Here, my bathroom. You can take a shower first, then.. you can wear this." She pointed a clothes that she gave to me.
Then she walk away, “You can thank me later.”
I look around. No one else in this house. She lived here alone?
I entered the bathroom. I’m really thankful that her bathroom have the hot water.
After I finished, I go out from the bathroom. Where’s that girl? I saw her watching a TV. I walk closer. “Th-thank you.”
She looked at me, “You’re welcome. Wow, my clothes seems fit enough for you.”
"I guess so." I gave her an awkward smile.
"Hey, why are you still standing there? Come and sit here. Here, drink your tea so you wouldn’t catch a cold."
I nodded. I sat beside her. “Sorry for bothering you.”
She laughed, “No, you’re not. I’m glad to have someone who accompany me here.”
"My name is Watanabe Mayu." I introduced myself.
She smiled, “I’m Kashiwagi Yuki.. just call me Yukirin. Nice to meet you, Watanabe-san.” She grinned.
Why this girl is so damn pretty?!! I look away. I can’t keep look at her, if I keep looking her eyes.. I’ll become extremely nervous. ”Are you lived here alone?”
"Yes." She smiled.
"Wow, you’re so brave. Isn’t it too dangerous for a girl to live alone?" especially for a lovely girl like her.
"I’m not too afraid. But sometimes… I just felt so lonely." She look down.
Ah, she’s really lonely. "Well.. I will come here often."
She looked at me. She looks surprised.
I just realized what I’m just saying. I look away and I slap my own face. What am I saying?! I just met her an hour ago!! Stupid. She’ll think that I’m crazy.
"I’m glad to hear that."
Eh? I turn my head and look at her. I saw her smile.. a beautiful smile.
*thump…. thump…. thump… thump.. thump.. thump. thump-thump-thump-thump-thump*
I feel my heart beat faster… more faster. Wh-what?! No. No- no, it can’t be lo-……. I stand up, “Thank you so much, but I need to go home now.”
"But it’s still raining outside." She stand up, then she open a curtain. "See? Heavy rain." She walk closer to me. "How can I let a pretty girl walk outside alone in the middle of night?? Ahh, and don’t forget about the HEAVY RAIN too. Like you said to me…. too dangerous."
Yes, she’s right. So, What should I do?! I sighed. Wait… did she just said that I’m a pretty girl???
"You looks tired, Watanabe-san." She pointed to a room. "You can sleep there tonight."
I’m shocked. “Bu-but….”
She laughed, “You’re so clumsy, aren’t you?” She sit again, “You can sleep first, I still wanna watch this movie.”
I hate this situation, the situation when I can’t say ‘No’. I nodded. I entered a room that she showed me before.
I lay on her bed. I can feel her scent. I rolled my eyes. Of course I can, this is her bed! Duh. Thinking about that make me blushed. Thankfully that she’s not here.
I closed my eyes. She’s right. I need a sleep.

I open my eyes slowly. I look my watch. It’s already 6 AM. I woke up and looked around. Where am I? My brain didn’t work well in the morning. Oh right, I’m in a stranger house now.
I open the door. I saw Yukirin sleeping on a couch. Why is she sleep here?! I feel guilty about this. This is her house, but she sleep outside because of me.
I entered that bedroom again, I take a blanket. I covering her body with this blanket. I can see her face closer. She’s so attractive… Her white skin, her black hair, her nose, her lips…. I look at her eyes. She has beautiful eyes too. Wait….. "Waaaaaa!!!" I fell on the floor.
She wake up. ”Why are you looking me like that?”
"Si…since when you woke up?!" I’m frozen. This is so embarrassing!!
"Why are you so panicked? I just awake when you give this to me." She pointed her blanket. "Thank you for this." She smiled.
Deathly smile. I stand up. “Can I use your bathroom again? I think that I need to take a bath before I’m go home.” I tried hard to act like nothing happened.
"Sure."
Then…. I run away from that scene.
I entered the bathroom quickly. I closed the door. “Why am I soooo stupid for embarassing myself in front of a stranger??!!!”
*20 MINUTES LATER*
She look at me, “Wow… done already?”
"Yes.." I didn’t look at her.
"Let’s have a breakfast first. I’m sure you’re hungry."
"No. No, thanks." I walk to the door.
"Why? It’s a weekend"
"I’m looking for-" I gasped, "flowers……"
She is a florist?! I look around. There’s so many beautiful flowers inside and outside her house.
I turned, “Kashiwagi-san.. I didn’t look all of this last night.”
She laughed. “Ohh… I cover it by that curtain last night.” She pointed at a big green curtain on her right.
I’m scratching my head, “So……”
She grinned, “So, you don’t need to go home in hurry. I will help you to choose some nice flowers. You can trust my ability.”
"Yeah… thank you. But I won’t pick it now, I’ll need it on next month."
"Next month? Ohh, no problem. What’s that for? I’ll choose it based on your event."
"………"
"Watanabe-san?"
"I need a bouquet for……… my sister’s birthday." Sh*t! Why should I lied about this?!

PART 2
I get in to my car. Actually… I don’t wanna meet that florist girl anymore, because somehow… she’s confusing me.
I drive my car for some minutes, then I park my car.
I just sit inside my car and watching her from afar. I saw Yukirin talking to her customers. Yukirin always show her smile to everyone who come to her shop. She’s so friendly to everyone.
I sighed. I go out from my car and lock it.
Yes.. I said that I didn’t want to meet her. But…. she’s like a magnet for me. I’m curious about her life. A strong-brave-kind-pretty girl who lived alone. I don’t know why, but I wanna be her friend.. so she doesn’t feel lonely anymore.
"Ohayou, Kashiwagi-san." I touch her shoulder.
She turned back, “Oh, ohayou Watanabe-san. Wow… I’m glad you to see you again. Well.. you must be curious about your bouquet, right? I know it, so that’s why you come here everyday.” She smile at me.
Not really.. I more curious about you. But yeah….. I nodded.
"Geez, Watanabe. It’s just 3 days ago you asked me to make it. You said that you’ll pick it for next month event."
She’s right. I just met her 3 days ago and after that I came here everyday. “Maybe I’m just too excited about the bouquet. Sorry, if I bothering you.” I bow to her.
Both of her hands hold my shoulders. She look at my eyes. “No. No. Like I said… I’m glad to see you again.” She show me her beautiful smile.
Both of us staring each other, until one of her customer calling her. “Kashiwagi-san, can you please make a bouquet for me? I wanna to give it to my friend, she’s in the hospital right now.” That woman looks sad.
Yukirin hugged her. “Don’t worry. Your friend will get well soon, Shinoda-san.”
Then Yukirin walk around to find some nice flowers, I think. After she got what she need, she cut it and wrap it nicely. After some minutes, “Here, Shinoda-san. I hope this will make her feeling better.”

That woman smiled, “You’re a great florist and a nice girl too. Your parents must be proud of you.” After that woman pay for that bouquet, she went out from Yukirin’s shop.
"Kashiwagi-san, that one is really pretty!! You’re so cool." I can’t close my mouth, she’s too awesome for me.
She grinned. “Of course I am. Now, you can trust my ability right? I will make a lovely one for your sister too.”
Darn! Bouquet for birthday?! I will get trouble because of this. Should I just order it again from another shop? What a pity. All bouquet that made by her.. are so pretty!! Should I just tell her about my wedding before it’ll become too late? I’m sure she can make it on time.
"Ano….. Kashiwagi-san…."
"Yes?" She closing her shop.
"What are you doing? Is this not too early to close your shop?" I’m confused.
"Let’s go out, Watanabe-san." She grinned. "It’s been a long time since I went out with a friend. Let’s have a dinner together."
Ahh.. maybe I can talk about it later. “Okay, but I’ll go if you call me Mayuyu. You said before that we’re friends, right?” I smiled.
She grabbed my hands. “Let’s go, Mayuyu.” She smiled and then we walk outside together.
That’s a best smile that I’ve ever seen. I love her smile. “Yukirin!! You walking so fast. Are you already too hungry?” I laughed. It’s nice to have a new friend.

I knocked the door. “Yukirin!!” I keep knocking, but still no answer. Huft.. maybe she already slept.
But when I wanna went away, the door opened. “Ohh… finally, you come. I’m waiting you for dinner. Sorry, I just finished bathing. Come in.”
I turned back. I saw her standing in front of me. She wear a short pants and a white shirt. She holding a towel, She put it on her head, then use it to dry her hair. She walk in and I follow her to get in. I saw her back and her wet hair from behind. She looks so….. sexy.
It’s been 2 weeks since I knew her. In this 2 weeks, I always come to her place… We meet everyday. Of course she confused and ask me about the reason why I always came to her place… I use a ‘bouquet flowers’ as my alibi. Silly! I chuckled.
She looked at me, “What’s so funny?”
"Nothing." I grinned. "Yukirin, sorry to make you wait. My boss keep asking me to do some work.. tomorrow we have a meeting with our client."
Yeah.. that’s right. Although I keep busy to preparing my wedding, sometimes… office stuff make me stressed out too.
"It’s okay, Mayuyu. I’m glad you still come here tonight." She smiled.
That smile…. that smile is my reason to meet her. Her smile like a magic for me. It makes me feel relax and happy.
When I hear her laugh, I feel that all my problems gone. Her sweet voice can make me forgetting my fatigue in whole day.
I didn’t know what’s in my head now.
"Yukirin."
"Hm?"
"I love your smile…." She looks surprised.
She walk closer to me. She peck my cheek. “You only love my smile?”
I’m blushed. “No. I love your voice and your laugh too.”
Her face become more closer to mine. “That’s all?”
I can feel my heart beating faster. “Yes.” I look away.
She holding my face and make me look at her again. “Are you sure? You came here everyday just because of those things?”
"Yes, of course, What else?" Okay, I’m so nervous now. This’s the first time for me to see her face this close. I can feel her warm breath, I can feel her addictive scent, I can see her seductive lips more closer.
What am I doing?! What is this?! My wedding will be held in the end of this month!! I push her away, “Stay away from me!” I turned and walk to the door.
"Mayuyu, hey." She grabbed my hand. "I’m sorry, I’m just-"
I forced her to release my hand, “I’m sorry, I need to go home now. You better finish my bouquet on time.” Then I close the door without looking her face.
Did.. did she’s just made me hesitant about Tomo-tan?! About my wedding??!!

"Honey.. what happened to you? Are you tired?" My fiance stroke my hair.
I hold his hand. “No. I’m just… really nervous about this.”
He smiled. “Don’t be. Everything will be okay, I promise.” He hugged me. “You don’t need to think about the preparation anymore. You already did a great job. I will do the rest.”
"Thanks. I love you." I kissed him.
"I love you too. Now, go home and take a rest." He smile at me.
I nodded and then I went away.
3 days ago, I had a quarrel with Yukirin. I never have a chance to meet her and say sorry. She’s innocent, I didn’t tell her the truth. Tomorrow, I will come to her place and tell about everything. I hope she’ll understand. About the bouquet…. I will order it from another florist.
I drove my car and went home.

I parked my car. I walk closer to her shop.
Okay, relax Mayuyu. Everything will be fine. Yukirin will understand you. I slap myself. I’ll never do something like this again!
I stopped in front of her door. How…. how if Yukirin don’t wanna see me again? How if… we can’t be friends anymore?
I turned away. It’s better to keep this secret for a little longer. I’m too afraid to lose her now. I will come back tomorrow and I’ll just say sorry to her without any explanation.
When I about to went away, someone call me from inside the shop. “Honey?”
What is he doing here?! I act like I didn’t hear it. I just keep walking.
But he open the door and grabbed my hand. “Hey.. I told you that I’ll do the rest, honey. You don’t need to come here.” He smiled.
"Ho-how do you know about this shop?"
He dragged me went in to Yukirin’s shop. Both of us standing in front of her. I didn’t have a guts to see her face.
"Last night I came to your house to make sure that you’re okay. Then I saw this on the table in your living room." He pointed to the table in front of me.

I saw the bouquet on the table. “Th-this…..”
"I asked a courier to bring a sample bouquet for you. I need your approval first because I think this is for your important event." Yukirin look at me, the way she look at me.. It’s…… different than usual.
She smile at Tomo-tan. ”But it seems your fiance give me a quick feedback. So, I think that I can fix it on time.”
Tomo-tan smile back, “Thanks you’re a great florist. I love this bouquet.” He hold my waist, ”but I think my fiance forget to tell you that it should be white as the dominant.”
He smile at me, I just give him an awkward smile.
Yukirin bowing to us, “Sorry for my mistake, Tomoki-san and Watanabe-san. I promise that I will make it very beautiful.”
"I trust you, Kashiwagi-san." He take a card from his bag. "This is our wedding invitation. You can come, we hope you’ll come and celebrate it with us."
I glance Yukirin. She read that card. “Thank you so much. I will come.”
Even though Tomo-tan didn’t realize it, I can see something in her eyes.. sadness, hurt, disappointment, and angry. It makes me realize something……
"Honey, let’s go. We have a rehearsal this evening." We turned and went out from that shop.
She loves me.

"Yukirin, look. I’m so sorry…" I came to her house again.
"You lied to me."
"I know.. I know.. that’s why I came back. We’re friends, right?"
"Friend?? We only know each other about 3 weeks, but you already lied about your big day. You almost make me ruin something big."
"But, nothing happened. Tomo-tan didn’t angry or anything. We still can fix it."
"Yeah… thanks to your FIANCE!" Yukirin look at me, she’s very angry.
"Yukirin……" I walk closer, but she step back. I sighed.
"So, what’s the reason?" She folded her hands.
"Reason of what?"
"The reason about.. WHY DID YOU COME HERE EVERYDAY?!!"
"Because I wanna be your friend, Yukirin."
"Friend?! And you lying to me just because you wanna be my friend? It doesn’t make sense for me."
I froze. I didn’t have another way to calm her. She has a right to angry at me. I almost screw everything… my wedding, her work, and our friendship.
"Yukirin… I know that you’re so angry to me. I can accept it. I will come here again, tomorrow. I hope we can talk without yelling to each other like this." I turned. I open the door and about to leave.
"That’s it?"
"Hm?" I looked back. I saw Yukirin crying. I feel guilty to hurt her.
"You act like this to me because of those stupid things?"
"Act like what?" I’m confused.
"Act like you love me…." She look deep into my eyes. She’s so sad.
I sighed, “Yukirin, it’s impossible. You already saw my fiance, you already know about my wedding. I knew him long before I met you.”
She walk closer to me, “You didn’t love him….”
"I love him. If I do not, I already refused him since a long time ago."
She stand right in front of me right now. She close the door behind me. She hold my cheek. I felt paralyzed… hypnotized by her beauty. ”Then, I will change my statement before…”
I can feel her breath wipe my lips. She keep staring my eyes. “You didn’t love him…. anymore.” Then she kissed me.
I try to refuse her and push her, but she hold me tightly and keep kissing me.
What is this?! I never felt like this before. No… I’ve been felt this when I’m with Tomo-tan. But… This’s more seductive, more addictive, more passionate, more comfortable, and more happier. I lost my defense, I kiss her back.
She broke the kiss. “See? You just didn’t realize it yet, didn’t realize about your feeling for me.” She smiled.
"Give me a week and I’ll help you to dig it more. I love you, Mayuyu." She kiss me again. Our kiss become more and more passionately. She turn off the lights.
I’m not sure yet. But if all things that she said are true… It will become a huge trouble. I’m in a pinch.

"Hi." She waved her hands at me. "you came." She smiled.
I rolled my eyes. “After what you did to me last night, of course I come here.”
"Even though I didn’t do it. I’m sure that you’ll come here too." She grinned.
I sighed. “Yeah.. you’re right.” I look at her front door. “Closed?? It’s still 6 PM.”
She nodded and she still grinned.
"Let me guess. Hmm….. you wanna ask me out, right?" I smiled.
She peck my lips, “Yes.” Her smile become more bigger. “Wanna go out with me? Or you have something to do?”
"Well… I’m free tonight." How can she kiss me casually like that? I’m someone’s fiancee. "Le-let’s go then.. *cough*." I look away to hide my nervousness.
She pinch my cheeks, “You’re so cute when you shy like that. *cough* Last night, your moan…. was very cute too.” She laugh.
I wanna hit her arm but she avoid it perfectly, “Wait a minute okay? I wanna change my clothes first.” She went into her room.
I sighed. Why do I give her a chance to make me hesitate? I know this is wrong. I know that someone will get hurt if I keep continuing this. I’m supposed to not meet her again and focus to my wedding preparation, right?!
But….. my heart didn’t cooperate well with my brain. I can’t let Tomo get hurt, I love him. But… Yuki can influence me this much, it’s not easy for me to lose her. What should I do?
"Mayuyu." Yukirin patted my shoulder.
I turned back and look at her face. Even if it’s true that I love her, how can I let myself to hurt Tomo?
Yuki hold my cheek, “Mayuyu… I’m so sorry.”
She know what I’m thinking. I hugged her, “you didn’t need to say sorry.” I smile at her. “Let’s go.”
She looks worried, “Are you sure?”
"Yes.. Where are we going?"
She smiled. “How about… watching a movie?”
"Great idea!" I grinned.
*1 HOUR LATER*
“Yu-Yukirin…" I’m whispering to her.
She eat her popcorn and still watch the movie comfortably. ”Hm?”
“Why did you choose this movie?!!" I tried to talk quietly.
"Why? You ask me to choose what I like. I’m curious about this movie, everyone said this is a great movie." She looks excited.
I hold her hand tightly. I close my face with my handbag. “Yukirin… I will kill you after this.”
She look at me, “Don’t say that you afraid to watch a horror mov-“
"KYAAAAA!!!!" I scream suddenly when I saw the ghost appeared.
After I shout my ‘ultrasonic’ voice, everyone look at me with their annoyed face.
Yukirin hugged me tight, “I’m sorry. I didn’t know about this. I think I should know you better.” She chuckled.
“Don’t laugh! I don’t wanna watch a movie with you again!" I pouted.
"Are you sure?"
I sighed, “No.”
She laughed again. I punched her arm.
She touch my cheek, “I love you.”
This is a very-very surprise attack! "I know."
Bad news, I can’t mad at her again after she said that.

Yukirin really know about how to win my heart. I love the way she did ‘I love you’ attack to me, I think it’s very cute. Everytime she said it in a random time, it makes me want to kiss her.
But in this week, it’s all will be over. This Saturday is my wedding party. 5 days more.
I went out from the car and walk into Yukirin’s shop.
"Mayu?! Why do you come here in this early?" Yukirin looks surprised. She smile at me.
"I.. I…. hmm…" How can I tell this to her?
Yukirin laughed. “Just say it. No need to nervous.”
I feel Tomo-tan holding my waist. Yukirin looks surprised.
He put my bag on the floor. ”Ohayou, Kashiwagi-san. Sorry for bothering you in this morning.” My fiance smile at her.
"Ah, no problem. Is this about the bridal bouquet?"
"No-no, Kashiwagi-san. We love a sample that you sent to us yesterday. Just make it like that. We have no problem with it."
"So… is there anything else that I can help?" Yukirin seems confused.
Tomo-tan look at me. “My fiancee seems has some hard days lately. I guess she extremely nervous about our wedding. She didn’t eat properly and didn’t talk too much.”
"So?" Yukirin still confused.
He smile at Yukirin. “I heard from her that you’re actually her best friend. I never knew about that, sorry.” He laughed.
Yukirin look at me. Her expression was like ‘since when we’re became a best friend?!’ I just give her my awkward smile.
"Can she stay with you for 2 or 3 days. Maybe you can calm her down. I’m not really good in girl stuff like this." He scratch his head.
I talked to Yukirin, “I already said to him that this’s not necessary, but he seems too worried about me. It’s okay Yukirin.”
"I didn’t have a problem with that, Kurosaki-san. Mayuyu can stay here as long as it needed."
My fiance hold my shoulders, “See? Your friend didn’t refuse it. You can take a rest, I will take care the wedding preparation.”
I nodded.
He look at Yukirin, “Thank you so much for your help, Kashiwagi-san.” He look at me again. She kissed my forehead, “See you, honey.”
I hugged him, “Thanks, Tomo-tan. I love you.”
My fiance bowing to Yukirin and then he went into his car. He leave both of us alone.
"Mayuyu, are you really nervous about the wedding? Or this is only your trick?"
"I’m not tricking anyone!! I’m just…. afraid." I shed my tears,
Yukirin hugged me, “What are you afraid of?” She stroked my hair.
I hold her waist, “I’m afraid that one of you will get hurt because of me. I’m afraid that I will choose a wrong path. I’m afraid that someday I will regret about this.” I sobbed.
"Shh… please don’t cry. You’ll never hurt me. Sorry to make you hesitate about your wedding. I can stop and go away if I make you sad like this."
"NO!! Don’t go anywhere!! Stay with me.. I can’t lose you."
I’m hopeless and clueless. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know who should I choose.
"Yukirin… why did we met in a wrong time? If we meet before I engaged with him, I’m sure that everything will be alright." I hugged her tightly.
She release her hug and then she look at me. “Everything will be okay, I promise. You just need to calm down.” She patted my head. “Wait a minute, I will close my shop first.”
I shook my head, “You don’t need to do that.”
But she didn’t listen my words, she keep closing it. Then she hold my cheek, “You’re more important to me now.”

I open my eyes slowly. I feel that Yukirin still hugging me. Her shirt looks wet because of my tears. We fall asleep on her bed.
I touch an angelic face in front of me. Am I really love you? I stroked her cheek slowly.
"Waaaaa!!" I’m shocked because she open her eyes suddenly. I slapped her face, but not too hard. "Can you stop shocking me like that?! My heart almost fell out. Open your eyes slowly!!"
She chuckled. “Sorry, but actually I didn’t sleep. How can I sleep if you sobbed like that.”
*GROWL*
I touched my stomach.
"I think someone already get hungry" Yukirin laughed. "Let’s buy our dinner."
Dinner?! It means… I cried since this morning? Ahh… so embarassing! Why am I so childish like that? I frowned.
"Mayuyu."
"Yes?"
"I love you." She smile at me.
As usual, ‘I love you’ attack from her can makes me feel calm. I smile back, “Thank you.”

Tonight is the last night I stay in Yukirin’s house. Tomorrow, Tomo-tan will pick me up. My wedding… 2 days more.
"Urgh!! Where’s the candles?!! I remember that I save it in here." She grumbled in front of a small cupboard.
"Candles? What’s that for?"
"I watched a news this morning, they said that tonight the lights will be off. The newscaster said that tonight there will be heavy rain."
I stand up, “It’s okay. I will buy it.”
She seems worried. “Are you okay? It’s already dark.”
I open the door, “Don’t worry. I will come back soon.”
I went out and looking for a store. I look around, the street was too quiet. I keep walking for some minutes. Fortunately, there’s one convenience store that still opened.
After I buy some big candles, I went out from that store. I saw the cashier closed that store and then he went away by his motorcycle.
I keep walking, but in the midway… I heard a lightning sound. “Kyaaaaaa!!!!” I fell on the street close my ears. I cried.
Then, the rain comes. Darn! I hate this. I still sat on the street for some minutes. I didn’t dare moving to anywhere. The lightning sound keep repeating up there. Help me! Someone please help me!!
"I told you to not went out. Why you didn’t hear me?!"
I lifted my head. Yukirin?! She drenched, she looks cold.
"Hold this." She gave me an umbrella.
She put her raincoat to me. Yukirin hugged me tight and we walk together in the rain. I still can hear the lightning sound, but I’m not as afraid as before.
It happened again. She come and take me when I feel afraid like that. Even though we’re in the middle of rain, my heart feels warm.
She release her hug when we arrived at her home.
"Mayuyu, change your clothes. Hurry up."
Th-this place is so dark. The lightning sound keep repeating. The candles that I brought before, already wet.. It can’t be used. I panicked.
"Mayuyu, are you okay??" Yukirin sighed, "Don’t tell me that you’re afraid of the dark too."
I didn’t answer it. My body shivering. I can’t see anything.
I feel that Yukirin hugged me. “Why are you afraid of everything?! Duh!”
I hugged her back. “So-sorry. Please don’t leave me alone here.”
"Mayuyu.. it’s okay. I’m right here. Don’t be afraid, I will protect you. Now, I will looking for a new clothes for you." She release me slowly.
"NO!!! Don’t leave me!" I start crying.
"Shh.. shhh… I’m here." Yukirin hugged me again. I keep sobbing.
Yukirin hold my cheek. “Calm down, Mayuyu. I will not leave you alone… because I love you, I love you so much. You must trust me.”
She gave me a clothes. “Now, change your clothes. Or you will catch a cold.”
How can I changing?! I changing here?! But she’s here and I can’t let her go…
"Don’t worry, I can’t see you. You can changing your clothes comfortably."
Ahh… she’s right. I change my clothes quickly, then I grabbed her hand again.
"See? Nothing happened." She patted my head.
I’m about to hug her but she refused me, “Don’t. My clothes still wet.”
"You’re not changing your clothes yet?!"
She laughed. “How can I change this if you keep screaming like that. Don’t worry about me. You can sleep here and I will always hold you until the lights turned on again.”
Sh-she’s so kind.. so gentle. She keep taking care of me, altough she knew that I’ll leave her and marriage to another men. I can feel her love now….
"Yukirin….."
"Yes, Mayuyu. Are you already sleepy?"
"………."
"Mayuyu?"
"I’m not sleepy yet, but I already love you."
I pull her arms closer and I kissed her. I sat on her thigh, I put my arms around her neck. I don’t care about the dark and the lightning anymore. We both keep kissing passionately.
I’m starting to kiss her neck. I’m whispering at her, “You need to changing your clothes too, so you won’t catch a cold." I lifted her shirt.
Now, I know who should I choose.

When we woke up in the morning, we start to quarrel something important.
"Mayuyu, I told you that I will make you realize your feeling for me. But I didn’t tell you that I wanna ruin your wedding."
"Wait a second… are you playing me?!" I raised my voice.
"No, I don’t. I really love you, but-"
"I can’t understand this!!" I feel so angry to her.
"To make you love me is good enough for me. But your marriage is something more important than my love. Please understand, Mayu."
I cried.
"Kurosaki-san is a good men. You will be happy if you be with him. You can’t cancel your marriage only because of a girl who met with you a month ago. You said that you already knew Kurosaki-san for 6 years!"
What the f*ck is this?!
"Besides… we still can play together after your wedding. We still can meet and having fun together without hurting anyone."
I smirked, “I seems forget to tell you that after our marriage, we will lived in London.”
Yukirin totally shocked. “Are you kidding me?!”
"Why should I joking with you in the time like this?!!"
Yukirin sat on the couch. She cried.
"I already know who’s my choice. Now, it’s your turn to choose. Let’s face it together and tell Tomo-tan about our relationship… or you let me go, then I’m going to marry him, after that… we will never be together again. Choose it wisely."
Please Yukirin, please!! I wanna be with you forever.
"Let’s end this. I’m sure that our love can find another way for us, a better way."
"What??!!" I can’t believe about what she just said to me. "You’re a coward, Yukirin! You didn’t know how much I hurt because of this. I’m ready to give up everything, but you refuse me."
I open the door and slam it. I ride a taxi and I went home. I hate her!!

I hold my tears since yesterday, I hope that I can hold it forever.
We are in a church. Me and Tomo-tan already stand up in front many people. I can see Yukirin sat among them, it makes me more harder to hold my tears.
It’s all ends now.
I saw a priest went in. I close my eyes. I’m ready to face this damn reality.
"Hi, everybody."
I shocked. I open my eyes and I look Tomo-tan standing there. He hold a microphone.
"I’m glad all of you came here today to celebrate our wedding. But, I’m sorry for this sudden announcement."
What’s that? Why he didn’t talk with me first?
"Me and Watanabe-san agreed to cancel our wedding."
Everyone shocked. I didn’t remember that we’ve ever talk about canceling our wedding!!
"We know that we disappointing all of you, especially our parents, but in the last days we realize that we didn’t love each other anymore. How can a marriage will goes without a love?"
I can’t hear anything again… I’m too shocked. Si-since when that he didn’t love me anymore??
After he talked in front of many people, he grabbed my hand and he dragged me to his car. He drive it quickly before anyone can chase us.
We stopped at a quiet place.
"What did you said before?! We never talk about canceling our wedding! Since when you didn’t love me anymore?!" I cried.
"That’s not me. It’s you."
"Do you mean… that it’s my fault?!"
"It’s nobody fault." He sighed. "It’s destiny’s fault."

"I heard you and Kashiwagi-san talked about this a few days ago. I heard it when I’m going to pick you up from her place."

"I already dumped by you. Why should I begging to you again?!" I’m about to close the door, but she hold it.
"I wanna say sorry about everything that I’ve ever said to you. You’re right, I’m a coward back then." Yukirin staring my eyes.
"I’m sure that if a huge problem appear again, you will dump me like this again."
"No… No.. I won’t! I’m not dump you, you already engaged to someone back then.. and it makes me didn’t have a confident about: Can I give you more happiness than Kurosaki-san ever gave to you?"
"I already choose you at that day. I know what I choose. That time.. I’m sure that you’ll become my greatest happiness. But I’m wrong."
"Can I get another chance to make you feel my love again?" She shed her tears.
"You don’t need to do that." I saw her, she looks totally sad. I hold her face. "You don’t need to do that because I still love you. I can feel your love right now."
She hugged me. “Sorry, to make you wait in this 6 months. I will never leave you again.”
I hit her head, “If that day Tomo-tan didn’t hear our conversation. I’m sure that we’ll regretting that day forever.” I cried.
"I promise… you will never regret to give me this chance again."
We kissed. It’s not only a passionate kiss, but this is a happy-sad-hurt-longing-relieved-love kiss.

One by one people came to my shop, ordering some bouquet for someone they loved. Sometimes… I’m so envious to them because they had someone who care them.

But it’s not as peacefully as I thought. Someone keep screaming in front of my door!! I gasped.
I woke up. I open the curtain, Is it really raining outside? But this morning the weather seems nice enough.
"KYAAAAAA!!!" I heard a same voice screaming again.
I gasped again. What the hell are they doing in front of someone’s house?!! I’m so annoyed.
I walk to my door and open it. I’m about to shoo them, but… I only found 1 person standing there. A girl?! What happened to her?? This late of night?? She must be kidding me.
I grabbed her hand and dragged her inside my house. Very noisy!! If she keep screaming like that, I’m sure that my other neighbors will throw something to her.
"Why are you keep screaming out there?? I thought someone is kidnapped or something. You woke me up." I raised my voice, so she’ll realized that she really bothering me.
"So-sorry… I’m afraid of lightning. Ca… can I wait here until the rain stopped? I promise, I will leave soon if it stopped." She’s begging to me.
It doesn’t make sense for me.
I laughed, “You’re afraid of lightning but you’re not afraid of a stranger who force you to entering her place?”
That’s true, right?
I want to teasing her one more time but I saw her silhouette, she’s shivering. Ohh… she really afraid of lightning. I feel pity for her.
I turned on the lights, ”Okay then.. I will accompany you.” I smiled so she can calm down.
I saw her clothes are wet. She walked in the rain? Did she think that it is a bollywood movie?! Without too much thinking, I give my clothes to her. I let her use my bathroom. Am I become too kind to a stranger?
While waiting her, I made a cup of tea for her. Okay, I’m insanely become too kind right now. I put it on a table and then I turned on the TV.
After some minutes she went out from my bathroom. I asked her to sat beside me. If I didn’t say it.. I bet that she’ll standing there until tomorrow comes.
"My name is Watanabe Mayu." She introduced herself. Well.. at least we already know each other’s name. She’s not categorized as a stranger anymore.
Actually.. It feels weird to have someone else in my house… but what can I do? It’s too late to take her home.
I always laugh everytime she opened her mouth. I mean…. why this girl is so clumsy and easily got nervous?? It’s not fit with her appearance. Most of pretty girls are always confident and easy to get along.
And then… something surprised me.
She said, ”Well.. I will come here often.”
I gasped. She suddenly look away and avoid my eyes. I chuckled. This girl is really funny.
But deep in my heart, I feel relieved there’s someone said that to me. it’s been a while since my home was visited by someone (my customer doesn’t count here).
"I’m glad to hear that." That’s all that I could say to her. I’m not really expecting too much, maybe she said that just to showing her gratitude.
When I’m arguing with my thoughts, she suddenly stand up, “Thank you so much, but I need to go home now.”
Urgh. What’s wrong with this girl?? She woke me up in the middle of the night and then she wanna go home, right now?! Such a weird girl.
I tried to persuade her to stay. But I’m not did this for any spesific reason. You know… if something happen to her in the midway, I will called by the police too.
I let her sleep in my room.
Okay, I’m really sleepy now. I went in to my bedroom. She’s already slept. I look at her face closer. She’s cute… I keep staring her.

Damn! It’s really make me shocked. I don’t know, but I feel that God is watching me now. I rolled my eyes. God, seriously! No reason beside this!

I sighed. Can You please stop that scary thunder?? I look at her again. I just feel that….. it’s the first time for me to have someone to be protected, although this’s only a tiny case.
It’s kinda awkward to share my bed with her, so I decided to sleep on the couch.

I can feel that someone staring me. Because I usually lived alone, I became more sensitive about someone presence. I opened my eyes. I saw her went in to my room again. Ahh… she’s a stranger girl from last night.
I wanna sleep again, she’s covering my body with a blanket. Well… I think that she’s actually a nice girl.
I opened my eyes. I shocked because she keep staring me. Is there something wrong with my face?? I confused.
After she’s realized that I’m already awake, she really shocked. She started to panic. I mean… REALLY panicked.
She asked my permission to use my bathroom. I nodded, “Sure.”
She walks and close the door quickly.
A funny girl. I can’t hold my laugh anymore. She staring at me like what I did last night.
I’m not sleepy anymore. It’s a little bit early, but I keep opened my shop.
After she finished her shower, she said that she wanna go home. I try to stopped her, but she seems in hurry. Oh, maybe she has something to do. I sighed.
She opened the door, but she stopped. ”I’m looking for flowers.”
It’s like.. I won a jackpot! I grinned.

This is become more fun than I thought before.
After that day, she keep coming here to ask me the same questions everyday about her bouquet. What kind of flowers that I use.. which one that I choose as the dominant color.. what color of the package.. what the meaning of this, this, this, and this flower to the receiver.. bla-bla-bla-bla.
But actually, I never get bored to answer those questions. I keep explain it to her over and over again.
I’m really glad to see her everyday, even though she only care about her bouquet… but, I don’t care.. It’s okay as long as I can talk with my new friend.
From that day, my life is not as boring as usual.
The way she smile.. the way she call me.. the way she laugh.. the way she talk.. the way she look at me.. the way she glance at me secretly.. The way she shy.. The way she nervous if I around her. I love them all. She light up my life.
Suddenly, a question pop up in my head. If her bouquet already done, will she keep come here and talk to me? Or she can easily forget about me?
I feel uneasy about that question.
But one day..
"Yukirin." She called me comfortably, I’m happy because she’s not that clumsy anymore, not like when the first time we met.
"Hm?" I simply answer her.

I’m totally surprised!! All of my anxiety slowly dissapeared.

I walk towards her. I peck her cheek. “Did you only love my smile?”
Wow, Am I just seducing her??!! I didn’t know what am I thinking now, maybe this is because I’m too happy.
“No. I love your voice and your laugh too.”
I can saw her face blushed. I’m flattered.
My face become more closer to hers. “That’s all?”
“Yes.” She looked away.
I hold her face and make her looking at me again, because I want to make sure that all things that she said was true. I look into her eyes, I’m more curious about my next question. “Are you sure? You came here everyday just because of those things?”
"Yes, of course, What else?"
That answer… disappoint me. That’s not what I want to hear. I approached her face, more closer now.
She pushed me, “Stay away from me!”
I’m surprised. Sh-she angry at me. I grabbed her hand quickly because she’s going to leave me. I say sorry.
I’m really sorry about this, what have I done?!
“I’m sorry, I need to go home now. You better finish my bouquet on time.” Then she closed my door without looking me.

I must find a way to talk with her. I walked back and forth, tried hard to find an idea. After some minutes, Ahh… I found one!
"I never did this to my customer before, but I think that I can send her a sample of her bouquet. It’ll be very necessary for her to give me a feedback."
I keep talking to myself. “When she come here and give a feedback about that, I’ll use that time to apologize to her too.”
I’ll make this perfect. If this bouquet pretty enough, probably.. It’ll become more easier for her to forgive me. I’ll ask someone to bring this sample to her house tomorrow . I hope she’ll like it.

I keep standing in front of my door, waiting for her. I keep thinking about what would I say to her… I should apologizing to her properly.
"Ohayou gozaimasu. I’m Tomoki. Are you Kashiwagi-san?" I heard a men’s voice.
He woke me up from my daydreaming, “Ohayou. Yes, it’s me. Nice to meet you. What can I do for you?” As usual, I always showed my best smile to my customer. I let him went in to the shop.
She lifted his hand and showing me something.”I want to say something about this bouquet. Can I?”
Is she really didn’t wanna talk to me? So, she sent this men to meet me? I’m really sad about this.
That men maybe noticed that I show him a sad face. “Ano, Kashiwagi-san.. I’m not here to scold you. This bouquet is so beautiful, but… I think this isn’t really fit with our event.”
I’m confused. “I’m sorry?”

I’m bowing to them just to avoid Mayuyu’s eyes. If I keep watching them, I’m afraid that my anger will blow up. “Sorry for my mistake, Tomoki-san and Watanabe-san. I promise that I will make it very beautiful.”
Before they went out, her fiance gave me their wedding invitation card. I saw the date. End of this month?! It feels like I wanna kill myself now.

I saw a familiar car parked beside my shop. That’s Mayuyu. "Hi." I waved my hand. "you came." I’m too excited because she visited me again.
She rolled her eyes. “After what you did to me last night, of course I come here.”
I chuckled. Yeah… I know that I’m quite aggresive last night. But I can’t hold myself, the atmosphere pushed me to do that.
"Even though I didn’t do it. I’m sure that you’ll come here too." I grinned.
I closed my shop earlier because I wanna ask her out. It’s not like a date as a lover or something.. this’s just like going out with my friend, have fun together.
"Let me guess. Hmm….. you wanna ask me out, right?" She smiled.
Oh my God, she’s so cute! I can’t hold myself to not kiss her lips, “Yes. Wanna go out with me? Or you have something to do?”
"Well… I’m free tonight. Le-let’s go then.." she coughs.

I open my cupboard and looking for something. “Urgh!! Where’s the candles?!! I remember that I save it in here.”
I watched a news this morning, they announce that tonight the lights will be turned off. But how stupid I am, I just remember it now when it’s already dark outside. It’s maybe too late for me to buy it.
So, I tried to remember where’s the candles that I save in a long time ago, maybe for years.
“It’s okay. I will buy it.”
I looked at Mayuyu. “Are you okay? It’s already dark.” I’m worried about her.
“Don’t worry. I will come back soon.” She went out and closed the door.
I sighed. I hope the rain didn’t fall until she get back. Yes, she’s okay with the rain, but when it comes to the rain.. lightning will always be there too. That’s the problem now.
And there it is.. my intuition is right. Rain comes.
I pick up my umbrella and my raincoat, I locked my door quickly. I must go faster, Mayuyu will hysteric out there. I stopped. But.. I don’t know where she is. This is bad.
I keep running and look around, but I still can’t find her. I think she will be around here. I’m drenched, but I don’t care.
I saw a girl sit in the middle of the rain from afar, I can hear her scream everytime the lightning struck. It’s Mayu. Why she keep sit there?! She’ll sick!
I run towards her. ”I told you to not went out. Why you didn’t hear me?!”
Mayuyu look at me. Oh, she’s crying. She must be so afraid here, alone. help her to stand up, I gave her my raincoat and my umbrella, and then I hug her. We walks home.
"Mayuyu, change your clothes. Hurry up."
No answer.
"Mayuyu, are you okay??" I sighed, "Don’t tell me that you’re afraid of the dark too."
Still no answer. I sighed. Yes, she’s afraid of the dark too.
I hugged her before she scream like last time. “Why are you afraid of everything?! Duh!”
She hugged me back. “So-sorry. Please don’t leave me alone here.”
"Mayuyu.. it’s okay. I’m right here. Don’t be afraid, I will protect you. Now, I will looking for a new clothes for you." I release her to grab any clothes from my cupboard.
"NO!!! Don’t leave me!" She’s crying.
I do not have time to take more clothes for me. Ahhh.. forget it.
I hugged her again. ”Shh.. shhh… I’m here.” She keep sobbing.
I hold her cheek. “Calm down, Mayuyu. I will not leave you alone… because I love you, I love you so much. You must trust me.”
I gave her a clothes. “Now, change your clothes. Or you will catch a cold. Don’t worry, I can’t see you. You can changing your clothes comfortably.”
After a few minutes, she grabbed my hand again.
"See? Nothing happened." I patted her head.
Now… I have someone to protect.
She wanna hug me again, “Don’t. My clothes still wet.”
"You’re not changing your clothes?!"
I laughed. “How can I change this if you keep screaming like that. Don’t worry about me. You can sleep here and I will always hold you until the lights turned on again.”
It’s nice for having someone to protect, I feel needed by someone that I love.

"Yes, Mayuyu. Are you already sleepy?"
She may be tired and sleepy after through this all.
No answer. ”Mayuyu?”
"I’m not sleepy yet, but I already love you."
I surprised. My heartbeats became uncontrollably. I can’t believe about what she just say. Sh-she loves me??
Before I can thinking again, She grabbed my arms and pulled my body closer to hers. And then… she kissed me.
Is this really happening?! Am I dreaming?? When did I fell asleep??
She sat on my thigh, she put her arms around my neck.
Th-this is real.. I can feel her sweet lips clearly, I can feel her warm breath wipe my face, I can feel her hands hugging me, I can feel her heartbeats.

At first, I thought that I won’t come here.. But I decided to came because I wanna see Mayuyu’s face… maybe for the last time.
I saw a priest walk in. It’s end.. in some minutes, she will belongs to Kurosaki-san. I’m so sad to think about it. I looked down and cried softly.
