^Thing is their japanese is better than we saw here, especially Youko's as she was a fan of H!P/jpop before the auditions as we can tell from her song choices during auditions.
I think the size of the audience and the performance just totally threw them. Also peipei's japanese seemed the worst(judging from her pronunciation) and she went first which probably threw the other members too

I was surprised these weren't in here.

Ice Creamusume went on that show, 100% Entertainment, three more times. All episodes were awesome. They also appeared on different shows. (They also did community volunteer work at a second hand shop, helping out staff with intellectual disabilities (http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20090310-00000001-scn-ent)

The girls perform short versions of their songs, and get to meet and do different activities with some Fan Club members. Anchii was absent, but Guu-chan was here this time.

Dark Team wins Wall Climbing.
Light Team wins Long Jump.
Light Team wins High (Low for them. ) Jump. (Only because ReiRei was the only person out of any team to make it over the bar without making it fall.)
Light Team wins Bull Riding.

All 6 of the girls are present once again, and this is the fourth time they've been on the show.

The show is called "University", and apparently involves having University students come on and talk about/answer different questions. One of the hosts of the show is Selina, from the Chinese pop group S.H.E.

This particular episode has something to do with being cute. Some of the University students give examples, and the Ice Creamusume girls also give a few examples, and there are a few "VS." moments involving Ice Creamusume and some of the students.

I'm glad you enjoyed the shows.

Sports Festival was by far my favorite. When I spotted ReiRei's dog-costume wearing fan from Fan Events at the Sports Festival to cheer, I laughed my butt of. And yes, the cap! Anchii looks fierce.

And ShenShen looks like she's about to attack or something. (I was extremely happy when Guu-chan dominated the bull riding.

I liked the end of the Beauty Contest episode too, when they did the runway walks. ReiRei and Lightbulb are really awkward.

And it's fun getting to see some more of the girls personal style.

Now if a new ICM musical release would get announced, all would be good in the world.

ICM is gold. Of course, I'm super biased since my parents hail from Taiwan, but still! What's not to love? They have amazing chemistry with each other, got more collective attitude than Berryz and C-ute combined, 4 of the 6 were noted for their dancing skills, and as these videos prove, are HILARIOUS.

Maybe you can add this to their profiles in the original post: Anchii's from Kaohsiung and Gu is from Taipei.

I think ICM seems pretty quiet still sometimes. Maybe with experience they'll become braver, but as for now, they still seem intimated on tv shows with loud hosts and such.

I'm still baffled about all the horrible comments at youtube (which I should know to never read, but ack). Are fans of Taiwanese entertainment not used to Japanese style idol groups and that's why they diss them so much?? I mean how can they call these girls "not cute"?? And they keep asking "why are these girls famous". Well the same reason H!P, AKB and countless others are. Obvs they can't be too familiar with Japanese idol world where it's not important to be the best singer or dancer or even the prettiest. But the worst was that they kept insisting that Reirei was faking the tears in the last video and they were accusing the girls of acting. Goddamnit, they're n00bs, I don't think they could act if they wanted to! D: And it'd be fine if it was just one idiot on youtube, but these mean comments had got lots of thumbs up clicks. Like wtf.

I agree though, with pretty much everything you said.

They may not be the absolute best at everything right now, but they're new, and they'll obviously grow as they get more work and stay in the business. If we're just talking talent here, personally, none of the girls voices bother me at all, they're all enjoyable to listen to, and most of them can dance pretty damn well (as you said), the group is just been given uncomplicated dances for now. (Though I'd probably say Lightbulb and ReiRei are the weakest at dance, I can see them getting much better over time with as much practice as they'll be doing.) - Anchii could probably act well, seeing as she takes performing arts and theatre classes in college, but she wasn't exactly given enough screen time to do much of anything.

On the whole "pretty" and "cute" thing, I've been running into that a lot today, and it's really starting to bug me. It's completely subjective, and changes from person to person. A lot of people think Anchii is ugly, but I think she's gorgeous, etc, etc.

I also take the stance that one doesn't have to be pretty, cute, or even attractive to everyone (there is always someone that will find -someone- attractive, even if most others don't), to be in a musical/Idol group, or have a "celebrity" (music, acting, etc.) career. As long as they have the talent, they should be able to put it to good use.

Yeah yeah I agree!

When it comes to idols... The most important skill you can have is to make people smile, to entertain people. And there are many different ways to achieve that, some of which don't necessarily even have anything to do with talent D: Charisma & the right attitude help a lot, I think. I'm just... bummed that those people seem to expect these girls to be like mini-Christina Aguileras or something.

To be honest, I've been disappointed with ICM choreographies considering they have some good dancers in there... I have high hopes for their future releases, but at the same time I'm scared they'll never be able to show their full potential ^^;; Kinda like SINA has one girl with a gorgeous voice but they have not released any singles. It's so annoying.

From what I've heard Shi, the most popular music in taiwan tends to be big ballad sad songs etc.(this is what a friend of mine told me anyway and yeah it's the type I usually hear in mandarin)
