I'll go first to start things off. :thumbsup

So I've been hearing that the new audition is not being received well by the fans, probably due to the fact that 20 members is already too many, and the fear of some members graduating being even more of a possibility.

I can't really say definitively whether the 5th gen. audition is a good idea or not, it all really depends on a lot of possible variables, but at the end it's bound to happen sooner or later in my opinion so what can you do? So might as well enjoy it and hope that all will turn out best.

As for the possible number of new members, since they are already indicating to go with the 20 finalist format like the last time, I would say 3~5 members is the most probable possibility, but I rather they choose less new members as oppose to more, 3 seems like a good number.

I'd like to see each new member to have a distinct advantage over another in different aspects so that they each could have different strengths that would complement one another instead of having a conflict over the same strength.

I really want at least one new member to be an above average singer with a lot of potential for growth.

I don't know if looks even matter to me any more when it comes to Idoling, but I guess it helps a little to look pretty and stuff. But the finalists pretty much are not ugly so I'm not worried in that respect.

It would be nice if a couple of them have a natural sense of humor, but variety has a lot to do with chemistry also so I'm not too concerned with that at this time.

More thoughts to be added at a later date as more info. is released...

I sort of understand the fans' worries. Currently, there are 20 members; about a handful actually do stuff, and the others are sort of wait until they're singled out by Masuno on the show, or have a solo uRa-Idoling segment. I understand that there needs to be some dynamic the outgoing types and the shy types (if you had a room full of 20 outgoing types, it'll look like that "Aichiteru" show or "The View"), but right now the ratio seems significantly off.

Would bumping up the membership really solve that problem ? If anything, it seems like it would dilute the current members even further. Granted, that's a poor excuse to NOT add new members; it's not the new members' faults if the veteran members aren't really pushing themselves out there. Which brings up another issue: There are only so many minutes in a show. Juggling so many members seems like a nightmare. Save the Best, Cull the Rest.

On the plus side, perhaps adding new members would give the group a chance to take on stronger singers and more loquacious types. MAYBE. I can't say that I saw that happen with 4th gen, as much as I like them. Call me shallow, but as a musician, strong singing is a big deal for me.1 I'm pretty sure most of the fan-base places very little importance on vocal prowess (they're just happy to see 'em live).

4th gen felt like the generation of quiet, sycophantic types. My hope is that 5th gen sees girls with stronger, more independent personalities (like Endo, Yazawa, Kawamura, or in an extreme case, Fujimoto Miki). That seems to naturally lead into more interesting moments, more talk-back, more outbursts, and more entertaining cat-fights !  :catglare:

1 The first live performances of "SISTER" and "Don't Think; Feel" were absolutely cringe-worthy. The second "A~I~*DO*-ringu..." was never on key, as was the "Yume mo *AI* mo" parts.  I'm wondering if anyone else noticed that during the first live, Yokoyama and Tonooka's performance of SPEED's "All My True Love" was very well done. Perfectly on key and full of projection. (I recall someone on this forum saying that THAT performance was cringe-worthy). From that point, it seems to have slid. My theory is that the new band-concerts make everything inaudible on stage without monitors (which they're clearly not using). At the same time, I'm wondering if FujiTV is, or has suggested that they all take up vocal coaching ?

I'm also hoping for any of the new members to be an able singer or at least one that can be trained to be one. I always think that it's for the purpose that Idoling!!! can go on to exist. The most likely members to graduate are almost always the older ones, which is the complete 1st gen which include the best singers overall. Not that I want anybody to graduate, if it were me, I'd have them all stay. Maybe they just want to expand the group to larger numbers (like other idol groups)... They've started adding generation 2, 3 and 4, so they can't stop adding more I guess. Fans would expect more generations? I welcome new members, but then the group gets larger, it's a bit of a dilemma, we'll see what happens :)


I do think that one of the problems with the lives is indeed the lack of use of ear monitors. I have read that when you have to listen to your own voice through the main speakers in the room, that the sound gets pitched automatically due to the natural phenomenon of traveling sound (probably also due to the sound waves bouncing off the walls), while ear monitors are directly into the ear and every unwanted sound can be mixed out (like the audience, or only your own voice). I've actually heard that when doing voice recording that they pitch the sound of the music intentionally because of this phenomenon and when they sing to it, it's actually in tune. (or something like that ;) )

maybe that's why i felt they sing better at outdoor open stage, just like at Lohas event or Tokyo earthride event.

I want 2 new members and no graduate, or 4 new members and 2 graduate, then let's do soccer  :twothumbs

My wish for new members:
1. Stage ace, good at sing and dance. more specific, I want girl with vocal like TGS Ayano/Sakamoto Maaya. don't really like vibrato.
2. Show ace, home and away, more like kikuchi.
3. Thinker and information gatherer, more like a combination of kikuchi(for jokes)+miyake(for promotion)+goto(idea and writer). No more baka.
4. Good in English or have the interest, and thinks worldwide.
5. We have enough members who likes K-pop or other idols. I want non-mainstream character.

I already fear the worst, with a pinch of hope. Do you guys know any Japanese Idoling fan forums? I was just wondering about their reactions to 4th generation members, upcoming 5th gen, singing and everything.

Mostly they are against the audition.
Of course, they said that to 4th gen audition too and mostly ended up being Kaoru/Yuna fans now :lol:
Rather than thinking of 5th gen, they are thinking who will graduate and who will become the new leader.
Graduates list is mostly troll (antifans of endo, kawamura, nagano, sakai), but some people thinks Yazawa, Fonchi & Morita will graduate. While popular new leader candidates are Tonooka, Yokoyama, Miyake, and Okawa. Kinda surprised that Hii-chan antifans decreased greatly in the last few weeks.

On twitter, mostly they don't complain about current 4th generation (except for Manami's weight) or group's singing skill. Cute girls win!
People only complain about one thing, too much shinahachi live. And Idoling!!! totally forgot about their show being their strongest point.

There are a few problems.  They can't really hear themselves, they can't really hear the music, dancing and singing the way they do causes muscle fatigue which might mean they can't hit the notes they need to hit and some just aren't great singers.  Normal floor monitors are perfectly fine and have worked for countless bands.  IEMs are an amazing invention, but they're expensive and can cause ear infections if you don't take care fo them properly.  The cheap ones barely provide any sound isolation and break down after awhile, so penny-pinching on them isn't exactly the best practice.  There is a bit of an issue with the way all of these groups sing, however.  Under normal circumstances, every musician would have his or her own monitor.  With floor monitors, that's impossible for the obvious reasons.  If they had IEMs, I'm not even sure if FOH (the sound man that controls everything -- Front of House) would have enough inputs on his/her mixer to handle all of those connections.  20+ singing mics, 23+ IEMs (for singers + band members), 6+ mics for drums, 2+ for guitar/bass.  As you can see, the amount of connections this would require would be huge, and battling the issues with getting each one on its own wireless station would also be a bit of a pain.  They'd have to lug around a lot more gear for their own IEM mixer to send to FOH.  Then, every member has to have his/her own specific mix, so sound checks would take a long time.  There are also a few more issues, so it's not a very realistic solution.

During recording, they use what is called Autotune or Melodyne.  A lot of people know this software thanks to Cher first using it to pitch to grid and the internet using it for hilarious Youtube mixes on pretty much anything you can think of.  However, it's been (and still is) used way before that in a more subtle way to help pitch vocals to their correct pitch on many famous musicians all around the world.  Sometimes it's necessary; you pull off a great performance, but one or two notes isn't quite right.  If you throw Autotune or Melodyne on it, that performance now becomes perfect without 90% of people listening knowing any better.  Other times, it makes a crappy singer just barely be able to pull off a performance i.e. Rebecca Black.  I won't get into this too much, but basically, it's the vocals that are pitched to the correct note, not the music that's being pitched.

It would be great if Idoling!!! had more monitors, but it's not exactly feasible unless they want to shell out some big money.  Anybody know if they have their own dedicated sound man that follows them to venues, or if they just use whatever FOH guy is at the venue?  Most regular bands out there just leave everything to whatever FOH guy the venue provides.

Application for 5th gen. audition closed tomorrow, so nothing new for now. staffs are working hard to cut down thousands of applicants to 20 finalists until the end of the month.

As indicated by SuzukiRyo, the # of candidates has been changed from 20 to 15. And as you may know by now, the fans will be voting this time with the purchase of the next single CD. With this news on hand, I was thinking about doing a poll of our own on this thread, where you would vote for a new member that you like by simply posting your comment here. I would then tally the votes right before the announcement of the 5th gen members and it would be fun to compare the forum poll to the actual new members that would be chosen. Anyone is welcome to participate.

The only rule I came up with is that you will have 5 votes to spend and you can vote up to 5 candidates. So if you only have 1 candidate you like you can use all the 5 votes for that one candidate, and if you have 5 candidates that you like you can put each vote towards each candidate. If you have 2 candidates you like, then you can divide the votes accordingly and spend 3 votes on the one you like the most, and 2 votes on the 2nd choice (Or 4 votes on 1st choice, and 1 vote on the 2nd choice if you want to.), how you would spend your votes is up to you.

The voting will begin once I have put up a post with all the candidate profiles & photos.

There should be some article publications to be available after the 11th live so things should pick up a bit here next week, stay tuned.

lol @ #3 lame pose XD  She's my fave for now. She was nervous as hell during the self introduction and so unenergetic during Ganbare Otome dance when all the candidates joined in. Like Sakacchi when she just joined Idoling!!!,  she spoke with an accent. And the thing that she wrote in her profile is so plain, without any cute pic or variation in writing at all.

The first post is updated with finalist stuff and voting stats, others have already put up the same info already like the profile photos but I just put them up for easier viewing.

The rumor is that a 2-hour finalist special is going to air where they show the auditioning process including singing/dancing at the end of the year, so I'm going to hold onto my votes until then, but they so far look very promising visual-wise. I didn't expect so many models to be in it, about half are total amateurs so the balance seems good though.

The two other ChocoLe members being in the audition was a total surprise for sure, and I also feel that those two are pretty much guaranteed to make it. I personally don't like how Idoling!!! is used that way by the agency, but I totally understand the move as well, ChocoLe with 3 members all being in Idoling!!! should stabilize a lot of things.

If they are going to put ChocoLe members in, I thought why not the 2 members from Secret Girls as well? I have grown to really like those two from watching the drama.

Whoever is chosen, I think 5th gen. is going to be a very formidable group. I wouldn't be shocked if they pick like 8 members.

Yes, they just turned 16 in september and october.
Age limit was 11-15.

These 7 girls please my eyes the most. 1, 4, 8, 9, 10, 13 and 15. Though none of them really give me that "damn she is hot" reaction. Rest of them look pretty plain and uninteresting.  I hope that the new members will be more visible, talkative and funny, than the 4th gen members.

There are definitely people thinking it was too early for her to join Idoling!!! but judging from twitter timeline and 2ch during the 5th gen special, although she didn't feature much, she is the one people paid attention to. Yeah I agree, the only comment Iseki have, if I'm not wrong, only when umeko and hichan approched her and speak to her (at 2:09 until about 3:00).

I was hoping to see them sing before I cast my votes but apparently the clumsy FujiTV staff we all know and love basically didn't bother to show anything other than some 11th live rehearsal footage so I'll just have to rely on my gut feeling.

So, basically I picked those 3 because they seem to have the least amount of failure-rate. They all have the looks, I think they'll all be good in variety aspect especially Takami and Oya who seem very outgoing, Matsumoto seems very poised for her age, and her adorable looks are very attractive. The fact that they are all working already in the business makes me feel not as concerned about their compatibility with Idoling. While I understand the appeal of uncovering untapped talent of a total amateur, I just don't think it's an appropriate time for Idoling to mess around and experiment or gamble, they need to keep improving and strengthen a lot of things in order to go anywhere this year instead of taking a step or two back again, and I think what they need from 5th gen. is members that can be a force right away.

As for ChocoLe duo, I like them too but I think they'll get in no matter what so I wanted to use my votes on not-guaranteed ones. I think they'll at least pick 5 so if my 3 choices and ChocoLe duo get in, it would be my ultimate dream coming true.  :inlove:

An observation I have on Izumi Marina's situation is that I really don't think the staff kept her in the finalist just to drop her again this time around because that just seems too cruel? I personally am not too high on her from what I have seen, but I'm afraid she'll make it.

OMG, Iseki Risa is a nightmare of a finalist after watching the interview video...and not in a good way either, she's just not ready for it, and it's not just about her being too young and an amateur either, I see a glaringly disconcerting personality flaws as well. I have nothing against her or anything but, I just care more about Idoling and their current members and Iseki Risa is not worth jeopardizing everything Idoling has accomplished up to now.

It's even more scary that the fanatics seem to have a hard-on for Iseki Risa big time, I can only hope that they are all poor and have no money to buy the voting tickets   :nervous

If you're referring to that short, impromptu interview from Kawamura, Iseki Risa certainly did not gain any WOW points during that. I remember that's how the 6th-Gens from Morning Musume were at first: Almost completely shocked into silence. I found it so irritating to listen to their sub-audible, docile dialogue for the first few years.

I get that some people like being "quiet", but if you're quiet and have lots of interesting insights, then you're "demure", if you're quiet and a dart, well, you're just a dart.

The fact that Izumi Marina came back for another fight shows character; it takes a lot of effort to reach a brick-wall and smash through it instead of walking away.

Izumi has courage and big pride. She is the only one who said that she will become the next center member, not even Amimi could say something like that. And she is 100% love Idoling!!! She could have joined big agencies like Horipro Osaka, but she don't.

About Iseki, I kinda afraid of her to suffer culture shock. Now she is fine not to say anything or smile, but if she joined later as idol that dark character will not be tolerated. Even Fonchi in early days was not that dark.

I was very alarmed watching this, her behavior goes beyond just being shy or something, I don't even know where to start because she has big issues in so many ways. But I mean that's in a scenario that she even has potential or talent, I still don't know if she can sing or not, and she's clearly not a seasoned dancer, and honestly I just don't sense anything out of her that would indicate that she's an Idoling material. Something about Izumi just makes me feel uncertain beginning with her looks, umm no offense but she hasn't aged well in the last 2 years...and while I appreciate her love for Idoling, I feel that it's not that relevant in evaluating the finalist themselves, I mean Ito Yuna also was a fan before joining and it didn't really matter in just how long it took for her to blend in. She's exactly not a charming personality type either after watching the interview with the staff, that is a big red flag for me. If she turns out to be a real bitch and NO TALENT, it would be too painful for me to watch.

I think Iseki and Izumi have the biggest potential for being flops, well Iseki is on a completely different planet all by herself...I really wanted to like Izumi but my natural instincts suggest otherwise.

I think one session with a professional stylist / artist might help Izumi a bit. Idols usually start off looking a tad homely, then make-over + maturity = improvement. The most extreme example I can think of is probably Tsuji Nozomi.

I don't know where you guys find all this content, but no I didn't see that creepy Iseki interview initially. Kinda wish I hadn't watched it; now I feel like she's going to crawl out of my monitor in seven days.

Iseki really doesn't connect with the other girls at all.

When they stand in a circle, have their hands meet in the center and do this fire up chant (I don't know what it's called), Iseki is, for a moment, part of the group, but as soon as the circle dissolves, she gets left standing at the side and the other girls behave as if she didn't exist.

I'm sure that the age difference is part of the reason and I understand that the girls are in a way rivals, but I have the feeling that the other girls could show some more effort to include her. Whichever girl did that would certainly earn points in my book. While being pretty and cute, as well as singing and dancing talent are valuable traits, I think that at the end of the day it is also very important – to me at least – that they have a kind heart.

I guess they see Iseki as an amateur who is trying to get into their "business". Most of these girls are also models and models have a high sense of pride for themselves. But I think the main reason is the 5th gen episode was shot within a day, and they just don't have enough time to know each other. That's why they only hang out with people they had already know.

But it was sad seeing Iseki without any friends :cry:  I still haven't voted for anyone yet so she'll be getting my sympathy votes.

Takami Nao reminded me of someone but I couldn't quite put a finger on it but finally figured it out, she resembles Mano Erina.

It's going to be a lot of pressure put on 5th gen. members when they join Idoling because the first single they are going to be a part of will be going for the first ever weekly Oricon #1 ranking.

Finally finished voting. My impression of most of them changed after all these interviews, imatsubu and pictures so in the end I decided on these 6:

#3 Iseki Risa - 1 (Pity vote. I can't help but think that her dad forced her to audition for his own personal gain. lol)
#4 Ooya Rikako - 12 (My favorite Love Berry model in the current lineup apart from Asahi and Kaede. Can't let her looks get to waste after LB is over.)
#8 Kawakami Manami - 7 (She has this huge country girl vibe to her which doesn't make sense when you realize she's born and raised in Tokyo. lol.)
#10 Takahashi Kurumi - 12 ( :deco:)
#12 Tanaka Rina - 1 (I liked her during the 5th gen. special)
#13 Tamagawa Ramu - 12 (My favorite out of them all for a lot of reasons. lol)

Both girls hardly get camera time during the 2 hours special.

Due to the damn slow belgian postal services (what service??), my package with my 6 copies from the handshake events had not arrived in time (in fact,it's due to arrive sometime this week), so I was only able to vote 3 times instead of 9 times...
So I voted:
1x Tamagawa Ramu: those magical eyes and that nervously excitedness . I can see her grow up wonderfully like Ruka.
1x Takahashi Kurumi: very cute & she's also something sparkling
1x Iseki: something must have made her ending up in the last 15, and she looks cute when she smiles, she deserves it. I'm already seeing her getting taken care of by the older members (like they showed Umeko already talking to her)

I saw the whole pity voting thing coming even before the fan voting event began, I also think it's not good to vote out of pity, I wouldn't have a problem at all if they think Iseki has potential and whatnot, but they are voting on a premise that she indeed is inferior and needs a lot of work which goes against the whole purpose of voting for the BEST possible candidate for Idoling.

I just don't think those who pity vote are thinking very thoroughly of the severe implication of it, because I surely would think that nobody wants a new member who is going to be a big burden and a headache case which in turn could possibly destroy the whole make-up of Idoling.

I understand that the most popular 5th gen. candidate could turn into just as big a burden and an epic fail case but that's just an extremely unlikely scenario, in Iseki's case you can just FEEL it coming that she's going to be a lot of work, so why pity vote for her? I have no idea.

I didn't vote for Iseki, but I can see why some people would. Some of the fascination with idols consists in their transformation from ordinary girls to superstars and to some fans this aspect might be more important than being a skilled dancer/singer/entertainer right from the start. In other words, the motivation to vote for her might not be what she is now but what she might grow to become.

Also, a pity vote is still a vote and I think people realize that. I'm sure that those who gave Iseki a vote could at least warm up to the idea of her being in Idoling!!!.

Well, Chocole duo getting in was pretty much expected, but I find it very odd that they only picked 4 of them because it seemed to me that the level of competition was much higher this time compared to the 4th.

Obviously no one can say it for sure how 5th gen. is going to turn out for a while but I can't help but feel that they have missed the boat, I have seen Ishida Karen interact with the other Box members like Yuuna and Maipuru on other shows and she just doesn't have the Idoling vibe. And the other girl Kiyoku, wow, I'm just speechless as to why they picked her. I really hope she proves me wrong, she has a lot of proving to do not just to myself but to other fans who share my sentiments, and there are many of them.

I mean there are still enough redeeming qualities about Idoling that I would still remain as a fan, but something about Idoling the purist that it once was simply died today due to the whole power-play by the Watanabe agency that completely shut out Lepros girls from getting a real shot, among others.

I do like Kurumin, but as a whole I just can't get too excited about 5th gen. at all. I really hope this doesn't turn out as bad as I think it has.

2012.03.03 5th gen. Meet & Greet

So, I met and greeted with the new members today. Due to circumstances I got 3 extra tickets from hellguard so I had 6 tickets I got to spend freely between 15:00~18:30. Well, in reality I only had time until 17:00 because of another event afterwards.

By the way, Kaorun also had her handshake event which started at 11 so we could see her running forth and back from time to time. lol. The reason for that is because she suddenly got sick around the 2/11-12 event so they had to reschedule it. I wasn't expecting there to be that many fans for her today, but apparently she even worked overtime because people were still holding a bunch of tickets.

Anyway, basically they were lined up in order of numbers in front of a table and you got to walk up to them and receive their name cards plus 15-20 seconds of chatting, and shaking their hands and high-fiving wasn't allowed. After about 30 minutes the staff realized this was taking waaaaaaaaaaay too long so after the first session (15:00-16:00) we got less time, about 10 seconds, but it just went downhill from there. I think they started pushing at 5 seconds at one point. lol

First impression of the newbies:

Kurumin: Hadn't seen her in about 2 months so it was quite a relief to know she's still awesomely cute. Plus she did her bird impersonation for me. :P She was wearing shorts, her numbering shirt and a pink zip hoodie. For references her color is the same pink as Kaede's numbering shirt.

Karen: I was originally planning on voting for her but changed to Ooya instead, so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in terms of former Love Berry models. lol. I actually cringed a little when I heard her voice in person. Karen and Amimi are both husky, but the levels are different. Funny thing is I got used to it around the 3rd time or so. :lol: She was wearing the same kind of clothes as Kurumin, except she has a lighter pink (Ookawa) and she matched her zip hoodie with it.

Ramu: Two long months and she still remembers my face and name. I just had to buy her shirt. :pimp: Unfortunately it's in lime green that I don't really like (see below). Ramu-tan was wearing shorts and a white zip hoodie with a skull on the back. lol

Reia/Leia: You could tell how nervous she was meeting with a lot of unknown people (read: old men and a few girls). :P Not sure how I feel about her right now, but she has the least experience after all so it can turn out either way. :lol: Her numbering shirt color is yellow (Fonchi) and she was the only one wearing a skirt!

I don't know about future ace thing, Karen has a husky voice, not as bad as Kikuchi, but that doesn't bode well for her singing.

If you can't sing in Idoling, you never become an ace.

Say what? Majority of idoling members really can't sing that well. Hitomi Sakai, Ami Kikuchi, Ai Okawa, Nao Asahi and Yurika Tachibana are not much of a singers, but does that make them NON ace members? Definitely not. Sayaka Kato and Erika Yazawa can't sing, but to many they will always be the all time best/favorite Idoling members. Aces of the group, if you will.

I guess it depends on what you see Idoling!!! as. I don't become a fan of Idoling!!! for their song as I tend to enjoy the show more. Yokoyama and Tonooka can sing well but they are almost anonymous on the show compared to Asahi and Amimi. There's no ace concept in Idoling!!! for me anyway. If there's one, it's Amimi right now because of her outside activities.

As for the 5th gen, I guess singing ability is not the focus this time. Perhaps they'll bring better singer in the next gen.

Right, the majority can't sing well, that's why there's only a select few who I regard as aces. You may see variety as idol's primary job but in Japan idols are not expected to be funny. So when I say ace, it refers to the live stage. In such a context, Sakai, Kikuchi, Okawa, Asahi, and Tachibana are not aces, and Kato and Yazawa also weren't aces. I think "favorite" is not synonymous to "ace" at all.

While Kikuchi may have broken into mainstream, her role within Idoling remains as a smart-ass commentary member, not a role I would label as an ace.

Either way, the prospects of Karen doesn't look that promising, she's clearly not a funny type.

...What? Idols are supposed to be entertaining, on stage and/or in variety. When a variety program invites an idol as a guest, of course they expect them to be funny. I'm not saying they should act like a clown or anything like that, but clever responses/comments are always appreciated in variety.

Being entertained doesn't equal being funny, musicians are entertainers, are they expected to be funny? No. While idols are referred to as someone with multiple talents, there's very few that are acknowledged for being funny. Idols in general are still called as guests on variety shows for the "pretty face" factor, nothing else. The comedians are the ones who are acknowledged for the funny aspect, and variety specialist talents who are good at talking. I wouldn't say a one word remark or clever answer equals being funny, maybe amusing, interesting if you have to insist.

What's the point of individualizing a term just to fit your definition when the rest of the world doesn't use it that way? There's a reason why the Idoling members only use the term "ace" when referring to Rurika only, they obviously value popularity and singing/dancing far more as an idol than being funny. Even if you use the term to describe an all-rounder, none of the ones mentioned are good enough singers to fit into that description, especially Kikuchi.

I was fortunate enough to watch Karen on other variety shows numerous times, trust me, she is not funny.

Just adding something on Karen just so people won't take it the wrong way, I'm not knocking Karen, it's not like she is trying to be funny and failed, she doesn't even try to be funny, is my point. Karen is a former model, she idolizes Maipuru, in her mind an ideal idol has nothing to do with being funny. Expecting her to be funny down the road is as extreme as saying expecting Asahi to win a Nobel Prize down the road, it's just not in their persona.

What negativity are you referring to? If you are referring to Karen, I'm just being honest and real, I don't know why not being funny even has to be a negative thing as an idol, most idols aren't funny or try to be funny.

I don't like everything about the show, but most of the fans probably share that sentiment, I honestly can't remember how I first got into Idoling, probably the variety segment or something I came across, then music came later.
