We get to see more of Raiga's fighting style -- he does it unarmed for a bit, and it somehow reminds me of Tsubasa/DAN's unarmed fighting style. What are the odds of him having been drilled by more than one knight while growing up? Pretty high, I would think. That might account for his unique fighting style, he probably developed it from training under Kouga and everyone he knows
Also, enter: Crow. He's a bit of a jerkass even though he acts all polite and subservient to Raiga (but only because Raiga is the Golden Knight GARO, I seriously think he's just acknowledging the title of GARO rather than Raiga specifically). Also, apparently, GARO is so famous that everyone obviously already knows the current bearer's name. I know they mentioned that in passing in the first season, but it's cool to see it at work here. Judging from his character, Crow is going to be a bit of a passively aggressive two-faced jerk for now, kinda reminiscent of Zero in the first series (just less hostile since he doesn't have that personal vendetta against Raiga like Rei did for Kouga at first). Willing to bet that their evolving partnership will eventually make him more honest and upfront with Raiga instead of being snivellingly obsequious on one hand and then cynical behind his back.
Nice to see Raiga inherits that strong sense of morality from both his parents. When he defended Mayuri to Crow by saying "she's human", I thought that was great. He doesn't even let spoken insults pass him by! Must protect everything! Crow too, for his part, is at least willing to bow to Raiga for now, but there's just something about him that makes me uneasy. He seems to have other objectives in mind. But well, it's only episode 2 and I'm already overthinking. Haha. Can't wait for next week!
