So there is a Sims thread! I'm on the Pet one,and I'm on my second house,because my last man and woman died. They've got a son this time. Not sure whether to get World Adventures or not.

Just had a couple of goes with change active household and that was interesting. I've been playing two different games and I've got my game where I play as a Japanese teenage boy,a Chinese woman,a Korean woman and one black man who was a kind of early version of the black man I have in the other game,and one where I play as a black man,a white woman and their son [and there's pets in both games] but all my other Sims I've made,including the Asian ones,are scattered across different houses. It's interesting to see my same characters in different universes and situations.

EDIT: After nearly a year and a half,I finally worked out the uploader[I know ridiculous]. Here's my Asian family:

From left to right:Ryuuki Sasaki,Michael Jajunshraft,Hwang Son-Il,Xiao Jiang and there's also an adopted cat called Wulgy who isn't in the picture. I just added a pond and the cherry tree to make their house look Asian. I tried building one but they couldn't afford it.
Here's James Jones and Jennifer Hawker:

Not pictured are son Miles Jones,cat Scrangle[who was called Meower when she started with the Skadooshes],horse Valiant[who also started with the Skadooshes],adopted dog Phoenix who's probably about to die and a parrot called Storm who obviously I can't play as and I don't know if it's a boy or a girl. I had an even gender ratio till I got the parrot.
And here are Damien and Kylie Skadoosh,my first two that died but I have recently placed in the Wan-Goddard house:

The funny thing is,I'm not a gamer at all but with the Sims I know how to use cheats and everything.

UPDATE:I've just joined Mod the Sims and downloaded Miyuki Yamamoto and put her in the Asian house! I've also put a Welsh man in there so there's one black man and one white man.

Now I've had a go at making Gentaro. The voice was the hardest part. I just did the best I could do.

I did also have a go at Nozomi Sasaki but I don't like how she turned out.

UPDATE UPDATE: I've made a video today that's sort of a Let's Play and sort of not,I'm gonna see if it gets taken down,I've just downloaded HyperCam today.

UPDATE 3? [This is getting long] Minnasan,welcome to Sunshine Island. Just downloaded it.

I've re-installed the game on my new orsm computer... I got pets, generations and seasons EP, and I've been happy with them so far :3

I've only played one family tho... A sort of a legacy challenge, only I didn't start as dirt poor as usual.

My sims have had kids now. Miles had a baby with Hwang Son-Il and Ryuuki had a baby with Yuri Han-Yul.

She's also an outdoor sim, and genius. I think it's a nice combination.

I also have another babby now, but it's a boy and pretty much looks like Bessi, so meh.

He has horrible traits tho, most unfortunately he is Unlucky, which means he'll be breaking all my stuff.

This is actually the son of the naked guy. He (naked guy) has been dead for a long time now. The son has three daughters now, accompanied by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Well, at least they'll grow pass the child stage unlike Sims 1. That always frustrated me.

I will miss the toddler stage though. I really liked the tots in Sims 2.

And... uh hmm while I like the additions, it does seem really hard to make a sim that looks even remotely like yourself, as Shi was saying in IRC, and the eyes aren't very customizable ehh this is the best I could do in 20 mins and looks nothing like me

Okay, I gave it another shot, this time I used 2 pics of me front and side and tried really really hard and... yeah.. haha no it doesn't look like me much, despite trying to match everything as closely as possible, while it looks familiar, it still looks like a stranger, plus I'm not this attractive!!

One interesting thing I found was playing with genetics as you can see above, you can make a genetic sibling or even a twin (I assume in the full game you can make all kinds of relatives) so I made myself a twin sister just to see what I could make.

I do dislike the lack of body hair, or not being able to adjust skintone very much, like my face is pretty red, so maybe I could use makeup to help it look like me or eye bags, because mine are so bad it looks like I've been in a fight sometimes.

This is my first Sim: Tobias

He's my experimental Sim. Using him to learn all that I need to about this game.
