Oh, I just noticed there’s a whole website dedicated to the show.
Among other things it presents a plot summary. It looks pretty interesting.
And it looks like I’ll fail at reading stage names. But I’ll give my try. You’ll check me.
Sumio Yuu, 14 (portrayed by Ai) and her friend Momura Nobuko, 13 (= Shingawa Yua) are practicing manzai (japanese comedy) at the rooftop as usual.
A childhood friend of Yuu’s, Aoike Kazuma, 15 (portrayed by Nakatsuka Tomomi) is worried about her carefree behavior.
And on that day…
The world gets plagued by the undead.
A girl named Tomoto Chitoai (Senjugo?), 13 (played by Suzuki Mariya), a member of the newspaper club who came from another school to gather information finds out that her home is destroyed.
“It’s my first time, I don’t really know what to do”
The school is one big mess and the pupils start to gather on the rooftop which seems safe.
Koto Yumiya, 15 (played by Saito Yua) who was physically weak back then says:
“We should get out of here. We can’t stay here forever!”
Tsuji Mizuki, 14 (= Koike Ayame) who always stays alone can’t accept that.
“Are you a fool? Do you want us dead?”
Athletic students and the literary group, students with bad grades fighting and defending.
We see all types of human relationships.
“I hate such things so much that I can’t laugh”
Nobu (knob) and Yuu continue their conversation which appears humorous.
Can they really survive?
And more importantly, can you live through that without laughing?
